The boo-birds landed Rhule on NFL.com
raleigh-panther replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
A great writer said ‘when people show you who they are, believe them….the first time’ The NFL record, the dismantling of he and his coordinator schemes by experienced NFL coaches, the disrespect from other teams players, his own press conferences and the pablum he spews, his mishandling of the draft and free agency, absolutely should show Tepper who this guy is. I have to say that I’m at the lowest point of my fandom of this team. I had a feeling with Tepper it would be this way. What I didn’t expect is that the Panthers would be the next Jets and Jaguars because both this owner and coach both think they are the smartest people in a room they have never been in before Its about the best players, keeping players only until they approach peak, details and smart schemes, not pablum and pablum is all Rhule has as he sure as hell does not have the other things He should study st the feet of the NE coach -
Rhule explains why they wanted Sam Darnold
raleigh-panther replied to mc52beast's topic in Carolina Panthers
So, ole Matt sees things that no one else saw …. Lol…ok i guess he failed to see the slow progression reads and all those turnovers in both college and the pros not to bring up a perhaps not so good analogy, it reminds me of all those people who were C students in high school biology knowing more about COVID then epidemiologists who had studied viruses for years Darnold was so great that the jets offloaded him for a rookie and duped a neophyte HC and GM out of draft picks and salary yesterday, the tv announcers quoted more pablum from Rhule about Sam withstanding the ‘fire’ and how would he be molded from it jesus H, this is not a church sermon. It’s pro football where your chess pieces and schemes have to be better than the other guys its ‘ x’s and o’s’ not a church service -
How the hell you going to retain Rhule in 2022?

1. He won’t do it 2. He is a bozo 3. That fuging fat boy smock he wears is ridiculous if he can’t coach like a grown up, at least look like one -

Sometimes, a knee jerk reaction is warranted this is one of them. His handling of the draft and free agency are egregious -

Sam Darnold likely starting again for last few games
raleigh-panther replied to Saca312's topic in Carolina Panthers
The nfl is littered with guys like Darnold …all the physical skills in the world , still not enough the nfl is the best of the best. The quickest. The fastest. The strongest For modern NFL QBs, the added emotional toughness and quick decisions under constant pressure Also, understanding that your performance affects the money in team mate’s pockets and that’s a high level of pressure Many fail. Ask Ryan Leaf Joey Harrington or the trio of USC recent failures: Leinart, Sanchez Darnold The list is much much longer either a player can make quick decisions under pressure or they can’t either they can find the open receiver with 300 lb men in their face in under 4 seconds or they can’t They get bigger in the moment or they don’t which do you think Darnold is? no matter what Darnold is to most in the Nfl, the Panthers liked themselves and him enough to give him him $23 million and that probably says more about them than him -
Yep. Interesting looked like a sketchy little weasel then too

You do get that in the modern NFL with salary cap issues, the only two things a coach has to work with to make the roster better are 1. Cash against the cap 2. Draft choices and the two most important positions are LT and QB Forget about his fuging up in the game itself, what has Rhule done to make any of those things better ? I’ll wait right here for your precise answer dont bring fritterer into it. He is the trigger man for Rhule abb no s nothing more for me, this is business not personal. If he were competent, his personal agendas would not matter to me
