  1. He was my #1 rated QB last year, but you can't count on a 3rd round pick that got injured for the entire year in his first preseason. He really needed that first year to build out his body. Do we even know what shape he's in?
  2. I'd trade up back into the 1st for him, if we don't trade our assets for a QB This team needs playmakers
  3. It would be great if Corral worked out. However the knock on him has been fragility and he couldn't even get through a few series in the preseason before a major, year long injury. Can't count on someone like that.
  4. I figure that Young and Stroud are both high performers of this test It will be very sad if we don't get either of them
  5. Don't mind it actually, I don't think our O-Line is as strong as you guys think. I also think Moton is candidate for regression. Also Corbett won't play any of training camp with the ACL tear. Christiansen can move to RG, and this guy at LG. If offensive line is the best position on the board, then so be it
  6. Huddlers: We need a franchise QB Huddlers: Also don't trade up, don't take Levis or Richardson, don't sign Carr, don't trade for Lamar/Rodgers
  7. Give the man some HGH and take the 6 game suspension! In all seriousness I would love to get Young....either Young or Stroud, please no Levis or Richardson. Rather go Rodgers/Jackson/Carr than that route
  8. Because this board is wanting to win, and at the same time banking their hopes on Anthony Richardson at 9, bringing Sam Darnold back as a bridge becuase he "improved" last year, and Matt Corral, which would equal another 6-11 season and a huge meltdown here
  9. Carr is the best option if it takes 3+ first round picks for Stroud, Young, Lamar, or Rodgers This staff isn't taking Levis or Richardson...they want to win now
  10. I love that people like to attack posters intelligence on here for having a different opinion. Totally not like anyone to be completely wrong on here before but ignore it and pretend like it never happened.... Everyone knows Darnold has all the physical tools. Darnold's mental deficiencies aren't fixable. He panics. He holds on to the ball a half second more than he needs to. He doesn't trust himself. There is no possible way you can tell me that Darnold could play in that game last night. He couldn't even play in week 18 in a meaningless game....he panicked all over himself to the tune of 5 completed passes...in a dome! Look, Sam is a nice guy. I get that you want to see him succeed. But even if he had a super staff of the Eagles and Chiefs offensive gurus combined, it is very unlikely he could be fixed. The Eagles and Chiefs dropped their dead weight quarterbacks before Mahomes and Hurts, so they see stuff like this too. THE #1 TRAIT you need in a quarterback, beyond all else, is composure. 2nd is will to win. Darnold has neither. We don't need to subject ourselves to settle for subpar quarterbacking. Enough with the excuses for Sam, and enough with the putting down posters on here who want to be rid of Sam.
  11. Tell that to the posters who still vouch for Darnold and want to bring him back
  12. Two former panthers decided the game and a former panther called it and mentioned us at the game winning kick
  13. ESPN reported the Colts are hiring Steichen
  14. I will never understand the strive for mediocrity on this board Sam's mental issues suddenly won't go away in his 6th year. He's a bottom 10 QB. He only could barely complete 5 passes in a dome game the last game we saw him. For fugs sake, move on from Sam and pretend he doesn't exist
  15. Darnold 5/15 43 yards 2 INT in a dome in a meaningless game Nope, get out of here
  16. But you know you are getting a good QB with Rodgers/Jackson, whereas there's a chance Stroud/Young can bust...that would be the tradeoff in terms of similar costs I have been on the Stroud train for a while, and I hope that's the move, but it would be unsurprising to see the Panthers jumping at Lamar (and Rodgers if he wants to come here) because they can win the division immediately if they make that move...the other 3 teams are bad
  17. Unpopular opinion Carolina will weigh the cost of trading up, but also Aaron Rodgers or Lamar Jackson trades, and I think there is a great chance they pick Rodgers or Jackson trade if it is a similar cost
  18. We are ready to win now and the owner wants to win now. I doubt we'll take Richardson. Young would be obvious pick here.
  19. So was Chip Kelly, Adam Gase, Rex Ryan, and John Fox, and all of them failed immediately at their next job
  20. Well, college basketball has sucked for the last 15 years, so maybe the product will be better to watch now.
  21. Disney cruises are a ripoff. Depending on your budget, go with Carnival (cheap) or Celebrity (more pricey but worth it). If you haven't cruised before, I would at least do it once. Because they have kids camps for your younger children and you can ditch the older ones and do your own thing if you wanted haha
  22. Matt Corral may have the tools, but he is one of those made of glass players that can't stay healthy. I mean the dude couldn't get out of preseason without a serious injury. And he's had problems in college too. He's not someone you can count on to be a starter.
  23. This is going to be an unpopular opinion but I'm leaning towards taking the TCU WR at 9 if the top 2 QB's are gone and just going after a vet. With Evero now and our defense and the state of the NFCS, we are ready to win now. Levis and Richardson are not. Years away even.
  24. Charlie Campbell said Evero couldn't stand Russell Wilson and blamed Denver's failures on Wilson when they scapegoated Hackett
