Charlie Campbell is the best source for Panthers info, he knows more than any local reporter. However it is way too early. NFL draft is in 82 days. Things will wildly change, and it also depends on where the free agent quarterbacks go.

Reich doesn't have a great track record there. He loved Darnold and Wentz. As for AR, I just don't see it. Certainly not anywhere close to Cam, didn't you guys see him at Auburn? Cam was amazing. Richardson is wildly inconsistent, and drifted through games doing absolutely nothing

I remember Pickett #1 overall, Malik mocked to us, Ridder and Corral all mocked in the first 30 picks right after the season ended last year because I was frustrated with Darnold and wanted a QB

Personally, I don't think there's a chance AR goes in the top 10. He has way too many question marks, starting with reading defenses, consistency, mechanics and accuracy. I predict he drops into the 20's or even 2nd round like Hurts, Paxton Lynch, Willis, Manziel, etc. I do think that a trade up with the Cardinals is the most likely scenario right now, there's no one really for them at #3 worth keeping the pick for and not getting extra capital

I'm not particularly impressed with either. I'd rather trade for Justin Fields than take either of these two, and I didn't like Fields during that draft either. Certainly not AR at 9, it would have to be a trade down and "oh look, he's still there" type of scenario

What about Flores for DC? Isn't he just a LB coach? Miami had a great defense with him there, and he has the attitude the defense needs.

Please one of the top CBs. Jamel Dean, Byron Murphy, or Bradberry. All three would make excellent #2's to Horn and move Dante to the slot where he needs to be.

Its not an obsession, I'm just done with those types of games, from ANY Panthers QB. Its like we are in a different football league than the NFL, I don't understand how our QB play can be so incredibly bad. I don't care if you throw interceptions or make bad decisions, just throw the damn ball and complete a damn pass. Lets agree to move on.

Sorry, but when you have a statline like this 5-15 43 Pass Yards 0 TD 2 INT 2.8 Pass Rating Playing in dome, healthy, and you played the full game, it discredits everything you've done. Burrow, Herbert, Mahomes, Allen, hell even Cousins, Carr, Tua, hell even Jones, Murray, hell even Davis fuging Mills doesn't even do that....literally only Darnold and Zach Wilson....31st ranked QB is not "very good" for the NFL. I will never understand the yearning for mediocrity on this board

Yeah, I like Corral and he was my #1 QB last draft but he doesn't currently have an NFL body and has a long way to go. Can't count on him for the next few years IMO

If anything it seems like he turned over way too much to Rhule those first two years, if rumors are true about letting Matt control social media, then people came to him and said this is toxic and he stepped in

Hurts and Richardson have similar scouting reports.... Both were/are considered to be one read, struggling pocket passers with questionable decisions, but Richardson has the stronger arm and Hurts has that "do anything it takes to win" mentality and toughness. That's the hardest part to gauge when drafting someone, hopefully Richardson has what it takes if we take him. I'm leaning more towards trading up for Stroud

Marty had a track record with his first rounders, and while he sucked at nearly every other aspect of GM'ing, hitting home runs/grand slams every single time (save for Otah) goes a long way to impressing owners and media

Whatever we do, we can't continue with Darnold. The guy could only complete 5 passes in a freakin dome in a meaningless game. And he isn't a rookie, this was his 5th year. I'm done with those types of stat lines. We shouldn't settle for that.

Agreed, there are posters here that cannot take any criticism for their convictions. Reich has a lot to prove. He isn't some top tier coach that we went out and snatched from the rest of the NFL.

Charlie Campbell, he said we zeroed in on Horn 2 weeks before that draft, same with Brown and Burns, and a day before last draft said we are taking a tackle with Ickey, Cross, Neal as the order of preference

The draft is a ridiculous 86 days away, we won't know what their plans are until there are 10-14 days left (if the same insider that has called the last 5 1st round Panther picks still has an in, but I don't see why he wouldn't if he got the first 10 picks right last year)
