Yeah, it was very “backyard/playground” esque in the way he was scrambling and throwing the ball around people and sshit. Pretty unsustainable, but he’s been playing really well lately. I’m more surprised he’s stayed healthy than anything. That was his problem here

If our D can’t get back on track against their poor running game and horrific OL, I don’t know what to tell them. This is the team that traded for Greg Little. But we are also the team that traded for Sam Darnold, so… Panthers win 24-10 with a TD late to ice it. One of our guys will lose a fumble early but we’ll bounce back. D gets 2 turnovers

His arm isn’t the same as it once was, that much is obvious. He can’t make those throws on a rope 60 yards down field like he used to. He can still play, though. He definitely has gas left that in the tank that we can use, and considering we ran him to near empty initially, might as well run with it

He looked good on Sunday. Passes had zip and were accurate more often than not. Considering he’d been on the team barely more than a week, that was a fantastic start. A shame it took so long to get him signed

OJ been trolling for years. Regardless of his criminal history, the guy knows football. But for real some of these Lions play calls are total ass

Pot Roast ripping into Defense on sidelines Sunday

Unfortunately I’ve been promoted to the limit of my ability. This is the best you’re gonna get. -
Happy Thanksgiving! What Panthers related thanks are you giving?
PandaMan replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
As others have said, I am thankful to have a team in the Carolinas. I’m thankful to have Cam healthy and back with the team. I’m thankful for the Panthers logo at midfield. I’m thankful for Tepper creating an actual practice facility. I’m thankful for guys like CMC, Reddick, who play balls to the wall every time they’re on the field. While it’s frustrating to see our team lose games we should win, I'm thankful to have a good building block to keep this team improving for (hopefully) years to come. I bleed black and blue -

Reminds me of my last job. Our boss would tell my buddy to “step up” constantly, but with no actual instruction on how to do so. He ended up getting fired. Poor guy -
Gilmore could’ve done that as well, after Donte was roasted I don’t know why we we didn’t make that adjustment. But no doubt, having Jaycee back would be a huge boon if we don’t continue shitting the bed

I saw a report last year that Rhule wanted Sean Ryan as OC to begin with. When he was hired last offseason I figured it was likely he’d be next in line for OC whenever Brady leaves, albeit firing or getting hired elsewhere. Our offense wasn’t great last year and Brady still got a number of HC interviews, it wouldn’t shock me if a desperate team hires him if he makes it through the year. it’s also worth noting that Rhule has previously said that he doesn’t believe in firing assistant coaches. So…. we’ll see edit- went back and looked at the report, apparently Rhule wanted Sean Ryan when he interviewed for the Jets HC job in 2019, the year before he was hired here. Since we still eventually hired him there is clearly interest https://www.northjersey.com/story/sports/nfl/giants/2019/12/31/matt-rhule-glimpse-ny-giants-coaching-future-sugar-bowl/2779230001/

He played. I think he tackled Gibson out of bounds near the end to stop the clock. Why he wasn’t on Scary Terry all game, I don’t know

Asking Olivia about Cam and the super bowl

What does Ja Rule think about the Panthers and Cam? Where is Ja??? -
NE winning helps us a lot, but I agree lol. Best case for me is Mac Jones has a bad game, gets knocked around, and Matty Lice throws a pick-6 to lose the game
-
He was great last year but has sucked this season. Ol’ Andy Lee who we traded a 4th rounder for back in 2016 is still punting at a high level. Hopefully the new guy can stick around for awhile

Are we not gonna talk about CMAC celebration dance?

I told you, man. OL still has problems but the QB play was so bad

The best part of this shellacking is that the score was 28-3 against Dan Quinn at one point. Then the Falcons punted, accidentally having 12 men on the field, and still gave up a blocked punt TD. After the TD, Dallas went for 2 points just for the hell of it (and converted). 36-3

Cowboys are scoring at will. Falcons had 12 men on the field and still gave up a blocked punt TD lol. Then Cowboys went for 2 for the fug of it
-
Lions with a good opportunity for that first W with the Steelers missing Ben and Claypool. Nice Mason Rudolph pick just now. So naturally the Steelers will win 31-10

Opinions on who is at fault for Cam's departure??
PandaMan replied to WOW!!'s topic in Carolina Panthers
I think Tepper had a lot of faith in Rhule and wanted to let him run things. Based on everything we’ve seen, Brady and Rhule don’t know how to evaluate quarterbacks due to reports that Brady heavily pushed for Teddy. Rhule pushed for Sam and we actually traded for a downgrade. It wasn’t any one person necessarily, but this is Rhule’s team and the buck stops with him.- 64 replies

OJ Simpson: Cam on the Panthers fits like a glove

Actually I’m now disappointed he didn’t actually say “fits like a glove.” I wanted him to be more brazen -

OJ has been shitposting for years now, but this one… yikes -
Carolina Panthers agree to terms with Cam Newton.

This front office is a clown show when it comes to QB evaluation. Really happy Cam is back, he never should’ve been booted to begin with -
100%, the fact that he has a winning record all-time is one of the Great Wonders of the World. He owes his defensive talent and Vic Fangio his paychecks for those seasons
