One thing I can say with confidence: Jaycee Horn will be one of the corners to ever play

Corner is a tough position, if he's a lockdown guy then it's a great pick. The last lockdown CB I can think of who had an instant impact from the top 10 is maybe Lattimore like 4 years ago. And I think he's actually regressed since then. Hoping this guy can break the cycle edit- actually, Lattimore was 11th. Either way, the pick is done, go Jaycee Horn!

I'd be okay with it if Fields was taken already and was gone. But this is very underwhelming. In the long run it'll likely be worthwhile since our CB depth is thin and our 2 best corners have 1 year contracts left, but it's hard to get excited about it right now. Time to drink

Dude don’t, you’re going to scare Sam Darnold. In all seriousness, it depends on what’s meant by “physically talented.” The whole package? It’s had to argue against Cam being at the top. He did things I’ve never seen before. Elusive, strong, cannon arm, fast, huge. He didn’t look fast when he ran but then he would outrun everyone until he got gassed at the end of a 50 yard scamper. guys like Vick and Lamar are definitely faster and twitchier, but their lack of strength and build keeps them below. I think Cunningham weighed like 30 pounds less than Cam. I think he’s the #1 choice for overall physical talent

I honestly don’t want to trade down. With the QB run likely to happen before 8 we can get a premiere talent. If they make it a worthwhile deal, sure, but idk. Normally I would be good with it, but this year is different with the uncertainty and QB heavy top.

Yeah. We have weapons and would’ve won more games last year with better QB play. Teddy only started 4 of our wins. So get an LT and pray that Sam is decent, or at least better than Teddy.

Yeah, Chiefs did not get fleeced. They just got wrecked in the Super Bowl because they didn’t have good offensive tackles. They’re in a position to win now and need quality OT to compete with a good pash rush, which they’ll likely see again if they get back there. They’re trying to make moves to win in their window. Don’t blame them.
