Matt Rhule keeps making the Panthers worse and worse
PandaMan replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is what stuck out to me because it rings so true. There was a press conference after a game where we lost and Rhule was talking about the culture. About how the hope is, we keep bringing in these guys who fit the culture and it’ll eventually all come together. The hope is that it all comes together… that’s when I realized Rhule is lost without any clue of what he’s doing. Glad the national media is starting to pile on. -
This is definitely it. And the “local guy” thing to stir up the fan base’s excitement. It’s so painfully obvious. What’s Bobby Petrino up to? Maybe he can get the whole staff to quit

I guess no one is excited about Kubiak or Groh
PandaMan replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
Kirk has thrown 26+ touchdowns each year since 2015, he’s a lot better than people think. He just went 33 TD 7 INT and would undoubtedly be a significant improvement. There is something off with him, though. I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t prefer him over any other current option if I wanted a capable starter next year, but I’m all in for tank, baby! -

I think Tepper meant Rockstar the energy drink. Because I’m about to have a heart attack -
What Happens If We Strike Out on a Legit OC Hire?

Aww, fug. I saw Jax was mostly looking at retreads like BoB and Pederson. My parade has been rained on -

Hue Jackson is out there somewhere. We probably could do worse, but damn it’ll be challenging. Rhule’s bottom of the barrel. I’m surprised I haven’t heard Hackett’s name much. If Green Bay somehow keeps him after this year and we finally get rid of Rhule next season, ohh wee mayne. That would make it worthwhile -
Every passing day I’m more convinced Matt Rhule is the snake, Kaa, from the Jungle Book. The closer you get to him, the more insanity happens. He has to be hypnotizing these people.

CJ Henderson's Tampa performance. Could he become a force in 2022?
PandaMan replied to SCO96's topic in Carolina Panthers
Agree 100%. Henderson looked better near the end of the year and Horn looked good before injury. Gilmore is a former DPOY so they already gravitate towards the guy. If he wants to come back, please make it happen. It’d be invaluable for the young guys who need that kind of experience around them -
How Rhule's Fug Ups Secured Him Another Year

DMT elves are actually a good time. This borders more on delirium tremens -
JR would always dip out of the media light, too. Say what you will about Jerry Jones but at least he’ll get in front of a camera and own it

That’s by far the main problem. Please strip some of that man’s power. He will tank our resources. His vision is the equivalent of wearing drunk goggles -
Matt Rhule is 0-7 against coaches fired this week.
PandaMan replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tepper did say one of the reasons he hired Rhule was because he sweats all over himself. Maybe Jordan Peele is next in line? -
How Rhule's Fug Ups Secured Him Another Year
PandaMan replied to Saca312's topic in Carolina Panthers
The main thing is that it sounds like Rhule still has total control. Completely agree that he needs to be reigned in. If what’s in the OP is accurate, he will be reigned in to not destroy future HC options since we’d have nothing to build on. We can only hope it’s true for our own sanity -
How Rhule's Fug Ups Secured Him Another Year

Matt Rhule is failing upwards and went to the Sam Bradford School of Making Money, top of his class. There’s no doubt that we’d have a hard time finding a quality coach being stuck with Darnold and Walker. I just pray he doesn’t destroy the rest of our draft capital on the way out -
Thoughts on Fitterer's press conference
PandaMan replied to Leeroy Jenkins Ph.D.'s topic in Carolina Panthers
It’s uncanny -
I expect him to say a coherent sentence at least, man

I was thinking the same. They looked so fuging fast and strong all night. I heard their defense was great this year, but poo. They impressed the hell out of me
-
That was a great game. I don’t watch a ton of college ball but this was fun. As a Georgia native I will rejoice in this time.

He was a big surprise this season. He’s a free agent now but it’d be great if we could bring him back. He’s one of those guys that you need on your team for depth and versatility, but he’s actually good at what he does
-
Very surprised they fired him. His first year they were one of the most talent-void teams in the league and still won 5 games, then had winning records the last two seasons. It’s baffling, but apparently the rift between Flores and GM Grier was too much to overcome. Grier has made so many bad moves. This is on par with keeping Rhule after consistent failure, or maybe even worse since he’s shown some level of HC competence. Terrible management decision.

Isn’t brining PJ’s back a form of cannibalism? PJ is fun to watch sometimes but is probably more reckless than Darnold. We can definitely do better. No surprise by this, though. Can’t have Rhule’s guys throwing a Temple Tantrum

Predict what week Rhule gets fired next season.
PandaMan replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
He will. He’ll babble and stutter his way through another year where we probably go 3-14. He’s like the snake from the Jungle Book, he keeps reeling Tepper in with the hypnotism.
