To his credit, he did make the initial contact on that huge play before halftime where Tyreek was stopped short of the goal line. They probably don’t win the game if Tyreek scores there. But yeah, he’s without a doubt a replacement level CB. That was a great play, though

Great hire! We’ve actually been making some solid coaching moves this offseason considering how laughable we are. Maybe there’s some hope on the horizon, but I’ll keep those hopes quelled until Rhule shows he knows how to evaluate QB. Probably will be waiting awhile
-
Yep. I haven’t seen a single Bucs fan say they’d rather be competitive year after year with just a chance to win a championship over sucking every 20 years and then winning one

Kupp has 3 inches on CMC. I don’t doubt that CMC could probably be a similar player to him if he focused on WR specifically; he already has great route running and knows how to find the soft spot in the zone. Kupp is a beast, though. If this was CMC after his 1k/1k season I’d say hell yeah CMC all day. But he can’t stay healthy and thus, I’d prefer Kupp

I’m all in on Cinci this year. Burrow’s the man. Been picking them every week and they haven’t let me down. I’d forgotten what that feels like

Who will be worst team in NFC south next season
PandaMan replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
edit- if it wasn’t clear, I’m betting on us. Can’t win much with Rhule the Tool -
Vikings have done us a few solids in that regard, I’ll forever have a soft spot for them because it. New play caller is a great question, though. watch them promote Allen to HC and hire Joe Brady as OC
-
McAdoo is a bad HC but his OC record is good. He’s become a meme due to benching Eli to ruin his start streak and that goofy look he has, yet when he’s just calling plays he’s literally the best we could get. Rhule is a clown but at least this is a solid hire of someone with much needed NFL experience. Don’t get the hate for it aside from failing to see beyond the memes

A Sad and Dejected Tampa Bay Bucs team Heads To The Locker Room

Don’t recall any, but it doesn’t stop him from trying. And since I don’t recall any I guess he’s at -1 now -
Small-handed QB argument sounds foolish on its face
PandaMan replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
Biggest thing that matters is if you can ball. Can Pickett ball? Who knows, he had a great year after looking mediocre for his college career. His hand size shouldn’t be the reason we don’t draft him, Daniel Jones and our own lovely Darnold have bigger hands than Mahomes and fumble all the time. I don’t have much faith in the guy as a player and the hand size doesn’t help considering he imo he doesn’t have those elite QB abilities like Burrow and Mahomes. Worth noting that Pickett’s hands would be tied for smallest in the draft if he was drafted last year -

There were some bad calls for sure, but Hochuli flexed on Tom Brady after the game and said he deserved his personal foul (and the hit that instigated Brady’s mania didn’t warrant a flag). He came after Hochuli aggressively and with obscenities apparently, which is fuging hilarious because Brady JUST SAID before this game that he gets away with that stuff a lot with the refs -

Brady’s upset Rams didn’t go for 2 after they got their last TD to make it 28-3. Then they could’ve completed the comeback -
He definitely should haha but our head coach is clueless, man. I never know what that guy’s gonna do except typically make the wrong choice
-
The problem is this staff also thought Bridgewater, and even worse, Darnold, was worth it. We’ll see if McAdoo even has any insight into the offense aside from calling plays. If he does, we may have a small amount of hope based on his past QB analyses. But if Rhule is still in control of personnel then it won’t matter
-
He was notorious for ignoring TE’s in the passing game from what I recall. He had good offenses once upon a time, yes, but he failed to adapt and I think Martz is exactly who he’s talking about. Greg has been outspoken about how Cam and coming here gave him the career he had. Like CRA said though, Rhule fits that as well. Not who he’s talking about, but he also fits the mold

That was our bread and butter in 2015. Go up by 20+ in the first half, then put on the brakes and make it a sweat inducing fourth quarter. That poo gave me so much cardiac stress. Allen had a great game so I felt bad for him that he didn’t even get a chance to score in OT. Great games all around. I love Joe Burrow so I’m pulling for the Bengals to pull off a miracle run
-
That’s what kinda what I was gathering as well. The rose colored glasses are strong, but I think Burrow is that good though where he can overcome those Taylor deficiencies. Taylor has definitely improved but he’s not even middle of the pack yet imo. The fans love him and the Bengals look great so he’s gonna get some leeway with this run
-
I did post on the bengals subreddit asking their opinions and most of them were on board with him at this point. I posted it a few weeks back before the postseason started. General consensus seemed like he was able to learn and adapt, plus the players like him. Didn’t see much about game day stuff, but they probably had the rose colored glasses on
-
Taylor seemed completely lost his first two seasons. Not sure if it finally clicked for him or what, but the Burrow/Chase connection kept that team alive this year and continues to do so. We definitely need somebody with ice in their veins like that
-
Mahomes does things that I haven’t ever seen a QB do, so it’s more impressive than anything. I don’t even hate Brady anymore because what he’s doing/done is unprecedented. Just gotta enjoy the greatness while you can
-
Worked out for the Saints in 2017 but thankfully the Rams have Cooper Kupp instead of the corpse of Devin Funchess. Rams are clicking right now but Shanahan seems to have their number. It’ll be a good game
-
Burrow legit always licks his fingers every time the camera is on him. He just licked his fingers then went to handshake someone after the game
-
Daaaaamn. Burrow getting sacked all game and still making great throws, then a ball bounces off his guy’s hands for the INT
