  1. Yeah lol people saying his coaching career was done were clearly uninformed. He’s actually good at his job when he’s on defense. People throw out Kap being blackballed but he sucked his last year in the league. Too much headache with not enough results. Flores deserves a spot on a staff. Just sad it’s not with us. Steelers are doing Steelers things. Their fans will complain about it en route to yet another winning season. Must be nice
  2. LUUUUUVUUUUU doesn’t have the same ring to it, but glad to have him back. He played great on a team of under performers. Maybe some of that tenacity will rub off on Derrick Brown
  3. We could’ve won it in 2015 if we’d just adjusted for Von Miller. He did what he wanted all night and Shula did nothing to help Remmers. That, plus the uncharacteristic fumbles from Tolbert and Cam. We win that game like 4/5 times imo. In the words of John Fox, just a bad day to have a bad day lol. But yeah Joe Thomas would’ve helped. Going “all in” works if you can consistently crank out quality players in the later rounds of the draft, then fill the big holes with established, reliable players like Stafford and Ramsey. We can’t draft that well and high profile players don’t want to come here. We just have to hope we can draft some quality guys to hang on until Rhule is gone. Either that, or he does a lot of DMT and has a revelation with Football Jesus
  4. McAdoo was a doodoo head coach but is a solid OC. Tabor is a good ST hire. He knows what kind of guys to use in the return game. Erickson didn’t fumble this year (to my knowledge) which is a huge step up in for our PR’s, but Tabor should help find better returners. We’ve actually hired guys with success at their respective positions. Are they world beaters? Nah, but the hires have been surprisingly good considering Rhule’s probably gone in 2023 barring a total turnaround
  5. This is where I’m at. Reddick was great at rushing the passer, but once the Cowboys used the jumbo set and showed how to run it down our throats, it was over. If he comes back on a cheap deal since he likes Rhule so much that’d be neat, but we definitely need bigger guys up front. Year 3 is when a lot of guys excel so I’m hoping YGM can do that. Charles Johnson and Hardy broke out in year 3
  6. I’d be shocked if they forced any owner to sell outside of blatantly racist/obscene video or audio footage. As long as they’re making money, the other owners don’t care. It hasn’t hurt the brand enough for them to care and affect the bottom line. Snyder is likely going nowhere
  7. Me neither. He’s in my Panthers OL HoF with Gross and the White Buffalo. Wish we could’ve retained him. Might throw Wharton in there for actual versatility, not Rhule’s version
  8. Only reasons someone could have to dislike Kalil were him vouching for his brother, him retiring then going to the Jets that one time (which was a ton of cash, can’t blame him), and his neck injuries, which also aren’t his fault. Only thing he truly did wrong was vouching for Matt Kalil lol, but those brotherly bonds run strong. I’d commit a crime to have Ryan Kalil back in his prime. Not anything crazy, but a crime nonetheless. Ryan Kalil was a blessing to this franchise and is, I believe, the only exception to Hurney’s second round draft failures
  9. Horn will come back strong as long as he listens to his trainers. He strikes me as the kind of guy who wants to come back so much that he may re-injure himself trying to do so. Just listen to your trainers, man! Be safe! We need you!
  10. We lost an edge on defense after 2015. Once Norman was given the boot we were never the same. TD and Luke brought the heat, but Norman had that swagger that has been sorely missed. Donte has attitude, but he can’t get under a stud WR’s skin so much that they literally headhunt him mid-game like Josh and Odell. 2016 offseason was imo the worst in team history. fuged us up badly.
  11. Jimmy Clausen? He wanted to trade up for Jimmy in 2010, which if he succeeded, would’ve been #1 overall in 2011. Cam easily had the most talent in that QB draft class so that one was hard to miss after our historically inept 2010 offense. but yeah, Hurney was great in the first round. Cam was the only QB he hit on, though
  12. Jimmy Clausen? He wanted to trade up for Jimmy in 2010, which if he succeeded, would’ve been #1 overall in 2011. 13. Signs are pointing to Pickett. Temple and/or Baylor connection? Check. Poor measurables that will be ignored by the same staff that hates short arms? Check. One year wonder? Check. Plus, the Pitt/Tepper connection to add on top of everything, not to mention all the rumors about our interest in the guy. Where there’s smoke there’s fire, and unfortunately it smells like a burning pickett fence. If he’s the pick all we can do is support the guy but damn, it’d be pretty demoralizing. OL or bust
  14. The half time show is a joke. Apparently the NFL isn’t even paying the dancers this year because the exposure should be enough. Like they’re expecting random dancer #102 to steal the show. That’s why I prefer the conference championships. It’s actual fans at the games and it’s not as corporate
  15. Full of nitrates but damn. Bring it ova hea!! not upset by this at all. Our OL was an abomination and needs a good culling on the coaching side. Give give it to Campen and let him work some magic.
  16. Yeah, I remember reading that Jansen wasn’t sure if he even wanted to come back this year. After the Fletcher pick, seemed like it’d be his last year and Fletcher would take the reigns from next year on. But nah Fletcher must really suck. Glad we’re not going to roll with him if he’s not good enough. People are memeing the signing but JJ is as good as it gets at LS
  17. Yep. It probably means nothing more than what others said; he’s eligible for an extension, he probably wants one, but AZ wants to wait (wisely, I would say). His late season performances have been pretty bad.
  18. Some guys enjoy the Pro Bowl experience. Russell Wilson loves going. The game itself is a joke but the experience and skill comps are fun for most people. I don’t think they should get rid of it, but it doesn’t need as much prestige as it gets. When guys like Mac Jones are playing then it really doesn’t mean much. It’s just silly football poo to watch before the season is over, then we have to wait 5 months for anything meaningful
  19. The skills competitions are a lot more fun than the game, they’re not all like the 40. They had Justin Jefferson doing the QB accuracy challenge thing and that was fun. He sucked, but it was fun to watch at least. The dodgeball game was fun. The guys actually were competitive in that one. They definitely should get rid of the game itself, but the challenges make it worthwhile. They can nix the 40 yard dash tho
  20. Kamara assaulting people at the club before 6 PM lmao
  21. Yeah, some of the takes in here are ass. DJ consistently produces with shitty QB play. Could his touchdown count be higher? Sure. But he’s a playmaker and I’d love to retain him. Reminds me of Brandin Cooks in that he always puts up numbers but is always overlooked
  22. Yep! I went there almost every night in college after work and never got tired of it lol. You can also add as many mixings to the milkshakes as you want. Oreo, snickers, Reese’s is
  23. I’m partial to Cookout, myself. Something about those greasy delights puts a smile on my arteries
  24. Color scheme reminds me of peach-o’s
  25. I don’t think Dan Snyder is capable of much critical thinking. The name Commanders isn’t catchy, and it doesn’t even have a good abbreviation/nickname like you said. Commies is literally the only thing lol. Aside from Cummanders
