Owner is a football terrorist at this point lol

Burns stock rising lol

Overpay or luck into one in the draft gotta wonder if o line struggles along with young’s struggles are causing the current wr group to suffer if we do add a wr, o line needs to be immediately the next fix
-
Based off the title, it’s a shot at young’s supposed strength, but we were sold this by our front office and more more rumblings that the owner and his wife forced this pick onto this staff. if any shred of this is true, which is trending towards being, we’re at the discretion of a meddling owner who is playing madden witj our football club
-
Unfortunately when the rich guy wants to run his team his way, us the fans, suffer. franchise is such a dumpster fire under tepper, I’ll root for the players always but following this team with this owner in place is really putting a strain on my fandom
-
Not going to be mad at Young because a bunch of buffoons over drafted him then the hype the social media put on him was just propaganda I’ll direct my anger to the real issues which is our owner
-
History has shown QBs in the frame and size of young very rarely succeed, the Risk/reward to draft him to this team was asinine, team ain’t built to hide any of his limitations in no shape or form and the fact that Bree’s is the only qb in that size to have significant success is a fairytale ending in itself. Horrible planning as usual from tepper led panthers

You’re not wrong but gm and HC should be in lockstep, franchise as of recently is constantly half assing or doing things backwards so even if fitts is fired we’re stuck with frank, who I’m not sure what advantages he gives this team as a HC and the bigger issue is if tepper and his wife forced young onto this staff, if that’s true, hate to break it to panthers nation but we’re doomed for the foreseeable future

Why Trading Burns is the Only Path to Getting a #1 WR in 2024
Cpt slay a ho replied to tukafan21's topic in Carolina Panthers
Keep burns, no need whatsoever to trade him for the WRs listed, or for anything short of a combination of picks and that’s still questionable. either you inquire about metcalf since he would still be on the bryce young rookie contract timeline, or sign someone like evans etc next offseason. we can’t afford to trade away more talent without a sure fire replacement in hand, it’s caught up to us this year -
NFC South Standings.... I'm not saying but.....

Burns draft classmate (edge rusher) inks new deal

Pay the man, and pair him with another edge guy like Reddick and let them eat current gm is clueless on replacing the talent he’s shipping off -
Y’all are weird lol

Next two years, strike while the irons hot

We don’t even know if we have the right people in place to put these moves in motion what op stated is exactly right, but for some reason the guys getting paid millions can’t team doesn’t have an identity and there isn’t really anything to build on with this roster besides the qb, who still has questions marks. -
Donte Jackson to(o) valuable to trade away
Cpt slay a ho replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Idk what the infatuation is with trading away players lately, just to see most flourish in different and better surroundings, how about surrounding or putting these guys in the best situation to thrive Again with fitts in charge I’m not thrilled trading guys away, he’s shown he can’t fill the role these guys are playing once they’ve been traded(cmc, dj Moore) -
Seriously, do y'all want a positive vibes only thread?

I also don’t know if some of the posters knew the mods before they were mods, they were pretty vocal about things on the team or player they didn’t like wayyy before Bryce -

I don’t understand why some are angry about the negativity on here, this comes with the territory, people are acting like we have troll accounts spamming negative threads or comments, most are respected posters, that like many of us, see the writing on the wall having discussions about what the team can do to improve etc when they’ve demonstrated they are not interested in doing things winning clubs do, nor have an owner in place that instills hope that this is a possibility in the future, expecting the slightest optimism at this time is almost asking for the cure for cancer. the Bryce hates goes overboard sometimes but I mean you’re gonna get takes like that given the cost to obtain him, and the current showing -
Needs to be kept around to teach our younger WRs the ropes, consummate pro

Brian Burns statline: 2 tackles, 0 sacks
Cpt slay a ho replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think we’ve traded enough talent away, at least with this current gm, depending on the number for the tag, business wise just smart to hang on to him until there’s a deal worth doing, wether trade or contract extension expecting to see elite performances from any player on this team is going to be a stretch, team is bad in too many areas -
Let's play "I could be a better GM than Scott Fitterer"

Thinking we’re a qb away and than proceeding to trade the last offensive weapon for said qb -
It was a terrible trade but not because of Bryce
Cpt slay a ho replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah that’s basically what I meant if we stayed at 9 or traded a 2nd rounder etc to move up a couple spots I think we’d all have a much better feeling about the team unfortunately that’s not the case, we traded our last offensive threat along with what’s looks to be a top 5 pick in a loaded draft for a guy that’s not the clear cut number 1 option of the 3 QBs chosen in the top 10 I think the fluff articles, comments from the coaches and overall just unnecessary hype have soured fans as well, I mean I wouldn’t have been mad with byrce at 9 but again history has told us that only 2-3 QBs of that stature have panned out…..it’s just not smart business ultimately -

I see wha you mean but I don’t think many would have a problem with Bryce if we didn’t trade what we traded for him, the guy was never going to live up to the cost to trade up for him barring becoming the second coming of Mahomes, in which, like we’ve stated, he just doesn’t have that particular skill set. -

Hence my point in this mess, guys getting paid millions and with unlimited resources on players profiles etc couldn’t see what a handful of bros on a Internet forum could almost malpractice at this point
