If you kept tabs on pats tc the battle is not as close as media is making it, Mac is playing it safe so far, probably because of the complex system. Bill is smart and knows rushing Mac in will only stunt his growth, there’s zero reason to throw him out there currently. cam shoulder again looks fine but I know 12 huddle drs are going to tell me otherwise
-
Cam is the starter, Mac looking more like a game manager, he’s going to have to do more than beat cam out passing, which at the moment is neck and neck. He’s gotta be so much better than cam passing if he’s to make up for cam’s ability to run giving him the edge.

Charles Johnson on cutting Ibe. Has a point!

Not a fan of it, reminds me of somebody getting cut because of a “parking spot”. Unless it was a pattern or something else stemmed from it I’m not a fan of cutting him for that hit -
Questions about Newton's status in NE?
Cpt slay a ho replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Also didn’t y’all get enough of this last year? all I heard throughout the year was his shoulder is done, he won’t make it through the season, start stidham, he won’t get signed, no team wants him yada ya ya. -

Yeah but it was unclear if they had fields ranked ahead of Mac, trying to trade up with us, I have to believe fields would have been in play for them.
-
I’m sure he knew Mac Jones would be there at 15 before signing those guys
-
I have and apparently bill has too
-
That’s still incorrect, buf, jets, bal, hou were his most attempts during the season, and those were some of his best games......
-
Name me the qbs throwing for 4000 yards with wrs like the great damiere byrd, jacoby Meyers, K’neal Harry and don’t get me started on the TE’s lol. if you don’t want the context behind it than just say so, but there’s a reason the pats went and grabbed the best two te’s in fa and several wrs also(hint it had nothing to do with cam’s arm strength). I still don’t understand why a coach as prestige as Bill is putting a qb who has no arm out on the field consistently.....
-
That’s incorrect, the games where he had more passing attempts he yield a significantly better qbr than games where he attempted under 20 passes
-
Naw, you just missed the boat, been discussed multiple times on here and debunked multiple times on here. good example is a poster brought up cams last game vs the jets and someone’s rebuttal was because it’s the jets, the jets as disfunctional and organization they are have zero to do with cams arm, he demonstrated numerous times throughout the season his arm was fine

Gotta be candidate for dumbest post of the year, has got to be

Damn we still on that arm narrative, that’s crazy, stay married to your opinions I guess

apparently there was some drama in our draft room

I was told since I’m not a nfl scout my opinion on the trade backs are moot, good to see fans weren’t the only ones irritated with that 2nd round trade back, especially with who was on the board -
Donte Jackson for Stephon Gilmore - Who says no?

Time will tell

Appears that way but if the hit on these late picks I’ll eat crow
-
Yeah not a fan of trading down in rounds 2 and 3, now it’s almost troll level how many times we’ve traded down. hedging your bet that you’ll find a diamond in the rough in rounds where statistically the outcome of that happening is slim, if we have the same grade for all these guys than I except those guys who went before us not to out shine our 7 6th round picks we’ll be fielding. This is dangerous
-
Best believe I’m going to be paying attention to every prospect taken with picks we openly traded out of, I understand the optimism but this is damn near madden going on for us in the draft

Yeah this forum needs to quit using tannerhill as some gold standard or norm, his injuries in Miami derailed his career there not his play -

This logic seems the escape the average fan, we are essentially trading for more chances to pick, but in rounds where fewer and fewer gems are found, during a time where a pandemic limited the ability to properly scout. we are taking on bigger risks than I believe is needed, this whole offseason has been a bunch of what if moves -

Yeah I need this same energy when we look back on all these trade backs, and the ballers that went in the second round, since we opted to trade completely out of the round. this can either be a really good draft for us or really meh, we passed on a lot of supposed talent at the time. -
