Either grab trubisky or Minshew and try one more run at retreads before going into the draft or off-season and having a real plan about getting a franchise qb. the better decision involves this staff and ownership admitting fault and sucking up their pride but since I doubt that’ll happen Minshew and trubisky, need to be targeted. even if we’re not super bowl contenders, get our young guys a taste of playoff football is just as important for the future of this team IMO

Darnold Concussed, Patriots Game Next Week, Sign Cam,
Cpt slay a ho replied to Kryptick's topic in Carolina Panthers
Lol signing cam even for the week would be profit just to get what info he has on the pats -
Chris Simms: People have caught on to the Panthers offense.
Cpt slay a ho replied to Tbe's topic in Carolina Panthers
We are ass, Teddy who I criticize a good bit is on pace to double his career high in tds, this staff is wild I’ll say, no way a first time nfl coach and coordinator should be thinking they’re good enough to mold these guys into anything greater than what they’ve showed -
Tepper Should go to Cam and admit he fuged up

To play devils advocate, I watch cam get 7 wins with that atrocious roster in NE last year, I’m sure he’d fair better than what we are seeing currently -

Cpt slay a ho replied to Panthers12211981's topic in Carolina Panthers
He fug up, but he ain’t admitting that, some in here are smoking if they think cam is worst than why we’ve fielded the last 3 years lol -
Naw these guys are all the ones he signed off on, even when I had a bad feeling about it I still supported the initial moves thinking bigger picture, now it looks like he’s just winging it, no sense of direction on what identity and team he wants to build follow up by endless coach speak while doing the complete opposite of what he’s stated. Hell of a motivator but that’s all I can vouch for at the time.

This, so many brain dead response in this thread about where cam is at but none on the landscape of the teams in the nfl like the jets, Texans, Seahawks, winless lions. Mac Jones is a better Fit for the patriots, not a better player(yet), there will be some head coaches and gm’s in the same spot cam is in because they want to trot out subpar qbs

How are the Panthers doing since his departure, oh

When did you give up on Matt Rhule?
Cpt slay a ho replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Haven’t gave up but his dedication to coach speak irritates me, either tell it how it is or don’t say anything -
You smoking if you think Teddy was a better option, we saw that play out my guy, less wins and less tds than cam or a more talented team….. again how are the pats doing ? They’re on pace to finish with a worst record than last year with a more talented team, and there 3 wins came against the jets and Texans without tyrod you can say cam isn’t good for whatever reasons you believe that, your opinion, but acting like he’s not better than this hog piss we’ve put on the field the last 2 years is far from the truth. making excuses for this regime is just what they want you to believe, year in and out we see other clubs make moves for qbs for better or worst, there’s no excuse to pay Teddy and trade for Sam just because option A wasn’t a possibility
-
Yeah meanwhile we are free falling and what’s the pats record again ? trying to prove your point you made my point in the same breath, should have kept him for his last year and draft a replacement like most of the logical ppl on this forum stated
-
The uncomfortable truth, this organization convinced the fans cam was done or we had better options, for the second straight season we see that they made a mistake

If donte was bigger I’d say love him around like arz does budda baker, but with his size I’m not sure taking on blockers etc is going to yield a healthy donte who already has some health issues at times

This has to be said: Cam Newton is vaccinated and available
Cpt slay a ho replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Pats are on pace to finish worst than last year and that’s with a supposedly better qb and over 100 million dollars spent in fa to additions to the roster and key defensive players retuning from covid opt outs. we have also parted with cam and what has that exactly gotten us ? Top 10 pick and teddys dead money still on the books ? Not exactly great, and Sam isn’t looking too hot right now. Cam isn’t a franchise guy, and he’s not a top qb any longer, but what Sam has put on film the last two games it isn’t hard to think Cam let alone other qbs couldn’t perform better than that. if gm’s and coaches want to get fired trotting, Davis Mills, Jared Goff, etc have at it, doesn’t exactly proves your point above -

This is the important part you and others are conveniently ignoring or just didn’t watch the pats last year, if he posted a 7-8 record last year with that roster from the pats, it’s not out the realm of reality to think he’d do better with better talent around him ? 20 tot and 10 ints with the pats offense last year vs Sam, who’s on pace for 31tots and 21 ints and that’s only if you believe he’ll double his rushing tds by seasons end. i’ve listen and watched ppl say for the last 3 years cam is washed etc etc but every qb that steps in after him has underperformed, Kyle Allen, teddy, and we are currently watching Mac Jones and Sam darnold follow trend. again not an endorsement to sign cam, but we gotta quit acting like these fringe starters are better than cam, whether past or present( ps cam ranked better than darnold last year) -

I hate arguing a point I wasn’t trying to make but since you insist on pushing this narrative that cam was directly the reason we only accomplished 3 winning seasons out of 9, while leaving out key factors, like how poor the defense was majority of the time, poor gm’s and poor coaching, and apparently you don’t see the year we went 7-8-1 as a success although we made the playoffs and won a playoff game is kinda bizarre also. cam isn’t being signed here or nor I’m advocating it, but in the years cam has played qb here, you can argue there hasn’t been a year where he was holding us back from being better than we actually appeared(maybe 2016 but that’s it). arguing that Sam can do better with less more than cam isn’t true baring some turn around next half of the season for him. Reason you have posters advocating for it currently is because the 7-8 record he posted with that terrible pats roster last year. -

It’s crazy, I specifically remember the eagles having like 8-9 sacks against us in 2014 behind that same line on mnf -

o line is bad but ppl have selective memory, cam played behind some horrible o lines. that’s not an endorsement to sign cam, that’s just telling the truth about the matter. cam isn’t coming here nor are we signing him, I’m cool with that, but we gotta stop some of the revisionist history(not referring to you btw). -

That’s not what I argued, I highlighted the part of your statement that was far fetched -
Cam Newton not on Panthers radar (as if that needed to be said)

Y’all are tripping with this statement, we field a converted dt at rt and Byron bell at left tackle, while sioulatu or however his name is spelled was at guard
