  1. Remy Cabella apparently wants out of Newcastle... Lol dude was absolutely terrible last year. Alexandre Lacazette is strongly linked to Arsenal by French reporters. Lyon wants around £35m. This I would believe... He's young and French... Wenger loves young French strikers.
  2. Bastian Schweinsteiger officially joins Manchester United. Van Persie to Fenerbache is official.
  3. Fabian Delph has confirmed for Aston Villa's web site that he will be staying at Villa Park despite widespread rumors of a move to Manchester City. It doesn't get much plainer than the player himself saying "I'm not leaving. I'm staying at the football club and I can't wait for the start of the season and captaining this great football club." to AVFC.co.uk. On the heels of the acquisition yesterday of Idrissa Gueye Villa looks like they should have a strong central midfield wheelhouse. One wonders where City will look next to fulfill their homegrown quote for the upcoming season. Milner is gone. Clyne is gone. Trippier is gone. Delph is apparently staying. Arsenal have shown no interest in selling Wilshere or Walcott. There aren't many names left that could actually contribute. Looks like Sterlng is City only option....Liverpool should ask for £50m and no less.Source: avfc.co.ukJul 11 - 1:42 PM
  4. wtf? He agreed to a deal and had medical scheduled this AM. Smart move on his part... Look at all the players who join City for big money... They become nobody within 4 years. I'm watching Southampton vs Valencia... Saints D is getting absolutely shredded. They need to address that. Yep, it's official per Aston Villa twitter. Delph changed his mind in last minute. Good for him! fug CIty!
  5. Asmir Begovic joins Chelsea as back-up goalie.
  6. Manchester City will give him around 150-200k a week... That's another thing with City... Their salaries are so outrages, they can't sell players so players have to just wait til contract expires... Arsenal had to sale Podolski for 1.5m just to get read of his 120k a year salary... City pays everyone 150-300k... Good luck selling players with these salaries...
  7. This transfer market is taking forever to take off... So weird... Sterling will probably be first big name to move...
  8. Reports are Manchester City is willing to increase their last and final bid by 5m cash... So 40m plus 4m in add-ons. The bid was not made, they will get together on Saturday to discuss it. Apparently this is as high as Manchester City is willing to go. Also, Sterling did not hand in his Transfer Request cause if he does, he will forgo his loyalty bonus. If Liverpool sales him within certain time frame, they can also save money on his loyalty bonus which some say are in millions.
  9. After they got together today to negotiate... If there is going to be a bid, it will be a final take it or leave it bid. The whole goal of getting together today was to come to an agreement. They might meet again tomorrow. There might not even be another bid. If I listen to what Express reports... Arsenal would already bought Benzema, Vidal, and many other players. BBC and Sky report nothing... Again... Express never got anything right... Apparently contract that was offered in June was 35m plus 4m in add-ons. Not straight 40m cash. Liverpool wants 50m cash. So technically they are 15m apart or 42% increase.
  10. Paul Joyce... The guy that works for Express? LOL Express is a horrible source of news.
  11. They bid 40m which got rejected... They did not submit a new bid, they got together with Liverpool officials to see their demands and if agreement can be made. There was no new bids as of today. Manchester City is still interested but not for 50m. Liverpool said they want 50m after rejection, Manchester City never submitted a bid for 50m. Now they negotiating to see how far both sides off. If Liverpool continue to stay on their 50m valuation of Sterling, City might just pack and leave... Just like it happened with Ross Barkley last year.
  12. Does gave up and have no interest mean the same things? I don't think so. Most analysts reported that with acquisition of Delph, Manchester City have more wiggle room. They also reported that Manchester City can just walk away just like they did last year with Ross Barkley. Clearly Manchester City are still trying to get Sterling for 40m plus maybe add-ons. If Manchester City buys Sterling for 50m, they will likely get sanctioned again next year.
  13. I never said they did not have interest... Of course they have interest but not at 50m pounds. It was the same issue with Ross Barkley last year... At the end Manchester City said fug you and left. (If you remember, Ross Barkley was on fire the year before) But last year they had Micah Richards, Frank Lampard and Milner... This year they need English players... That's why they went after Delph and it was known fact they will sign 1-2 more English players. Considering that they removed sanctions against Manchester City last week, it allows them to go crazy again. Express so far is the only newspaper that reports 44m... and express is horrible source for news. Liverpool willing to sell Sterling, Sterling wants out, Manchester City is willing to buy but refusing to meet 50m price tag. I honestly have no idea how anyone in their right mind believe Sterling is worth anywhere near 50m... If they did not give a fug about price, they would already give you 50m... Since they didn't, they care... You underestimate City situation... City needs to be careful or they will get sanctioned again... Many of their players left on free transfers... City barely have money coming in and they need many players... They can only spend something like 130m... If they spend 20m on Delph and 50m on Sterling... That's 70m spent on only 2 players and they have about 6 more holes to fill.... They need another Striker and Winger, they need another DM, RB and CB.
  14. Sterling is inconsistent and not worth anywhere near £40m. The only reason City wants to buy him for that money is because he's English. If Sterling was from Italy and Liverpool demanded £50m, they would laugh at that demand. You realize that outside Manchester City, there is absolutely no other interest? After Sterling price increased to £35m, everyone else just said no thanks. Even Real Madrid...
  15. None of them are starters for English national team... Here's a recent rooster... They need attacking midfielder/winger... They tried to get Wilshere earlier but Wenger said he's not for sale. You know who's back-up for injured Sturridge? Walcott... He's also not for sale... City options are literally limited to Sterling. Firmino was almost 30m pounds (BBC reported) and Cline was 12m, Joe Gomez 4m... That's already 46m... And Liverpool still needs a striker.
  16. Do you think it's a coincidence City signed Delph right before negotiating for Sterling? City has money but they not stupid. City can walk away if Liverpool tries to play hard ball... Liverpool went on a shopping spree with money they don't have. City has the upper hand now with Delph signed and no one else to bid more than 35m.
  17. http://www.espnfc.us/manchester-city/story/2478570/man-city-to-be-left-with-just-three-homegrown-players http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jun/11/liverpool-reject-bid-raheem-sterling-manchester-city http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/manchester-city-transfers-raheem-sterling-9426210 I can go on and on and on... There aren't many 1st team English starters available... most play for Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool. Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal will not sell to Manchester City... That leaves very limited options... Fabian Delph will start because he's much better than what Manchester City has... Manchester City are desperate to meet their quote for English players... The only reason they willing to pay 50m for Sterling is because he's from England and plays for English national team... That's it... Not because he's worth 50m. After getting Delph, they need 1-2 more English players and they don't have to be starters. They can still come after Sterling or they can look the other way... They had the same fiasco with Ross Barkley last year. After getting Delph, City has more wiggle room.
  18. They needed English player... They just field that need with Delph. They don't have to pay 50m for Sterling anymore. They can get Reus for that money. The only reason they were willing to pay that money for Sterling is because he's from England. They lost Milner and needed replacement. Now City can just sign some average English players who will never start aka Micah Richards.
  19. Fabian Delph to Manchester City is done... This means two things... Manchester City gave up on Sterling and Aston Villa got cash and longer will sale Benteke at sale price. Liverpool will need to resolve Sterling saga... Last week BBC reported that Liverpool will need to sale players to offset 60m pounds in spending spree... Rodgers might be digging a hole here. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33486125
  20. Zelalem is doing pretty good. Good chance he might get loaned out this year to get some EPL experience.
  21. Lol at report by English Newspaper.... I'm sure Arsenal wanted Cabaye over Cazorla, Wilshere, Ozil and Ramsey. Arsenal midfield is overcrowded as it is... Is Crystal Palace’s sensational capture of French international Johan Cabaye from under the noses of London rivals Tottenham and Arsenal a sign of things to come…?Last month Crystal Palace chairman made a point of saying that if the club wanted to establish themselves as a top ten club they had to sign top ten players. The signing of French international Johan Cabaye from PSG proves this wasn’t just hot air, or a ploy to create demand for season tickets. But is it ambition, or is simply Palace punching above their weight? Leicester City’s signing of Estaban Cambiasso has some parallels, although it could be said the 34-year-old’s career is/was on a downward trajectory. West Ham famously gave Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano their break in Europe, but were never destined to hold on to them very long. What happens next at Palace is key. Fans will be hoping that Cabaye is the catalyst for more quality to come, but if current talent – like Scott Dann, an £8m target for Everton – is sold off to balance the books, it might look like a gesture. Jul 9 - 8:43 AM Reports are that Higuain might be considering moving to more competitive league like EPL. Also, I won't be surprise if Arsenal sign another winger and move Alexis to CF... Alexis struggled as CF last year due to very little support from LW position. Wenger is always super secretive about who he signs and he usually signs players in early to mid August. Apparently Madrid considering moving Ronaldo to CF position and Benzema might be expendable.
  22. He refuses to overpay... Arsenal uses dude from MIT University to determine player real market value... Arsenal runs corporate like business structure.
  23. Wenger sits on £300m in transfer funds. He can literally buy who ever he wants.
  24. We shall see... Reports that Juve might accept £71m for Pogba... Manchester City need midfielders bad... They will spend close to £200m in this transfer window.... So Sterling is still a possibility. Their #1 target is Pogba tho... After Pogba it's Sterling. Metro sucks... Wenger will never bid £43m with first bid... No way. Higuain will thrive in Arsenal.
  25. Arsenal bid £32m for Gonzalo Higuain.
