Die or get sick? Cause that’s insane if he said that.

Cost me over $120 per family movie night. I got a bit family thought.

I have been to movies 2 times in last 3 years. Overpriced food and drinks are not my thing.

Very odd coincidence how virus happened during trade war and China will profit the most in the end.

IMF also announced yesterday that we will experience the worst recession since 1930s depression. That country that started the virus and spread it will profit the most from global pandemic. The latest forecasts from the IMF suggest that the U.S. economy will contract by 5.9% this year. In comparison, the euro zone is expected to shrink by 7.5%, but China is seen growing by 1.2% in 2020.

No powerball. I work close with quants who run economic variable models. Huge recession is coming by end of this year.

2021 will be worse than 2020 economy wise. Just something to keep in mind.

Yep, just main economy drivers.

Coronavirus: Germany slowly eases lockdown measures https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-52299358 Germany will reopen schools on May 4th. Spain start allowing people going back to work.

Ok, that’s good to know. European soccer is different.

So big thing in US... all professional athletes are under contract and required to get paid during this outbreak. For example... NFL team pays players on average of 170M per season (excluding staff). There are 32 teams... NFL might make no money but will require to pay salaries in billions. That’s not sustainable. I know multiple soccer teams in Europe that have been around of almost century are going bankrupt due to player and staff salaries.
-
US military was almost not used in US outbreak so far... means US hospitals are handling it well.

US and Trump will halt funding of WHO. Trump said they failed in their basic duties. Right before the outbreak, WHO leaders said there is nothing to worry about.

COVID19 vaccine won’t be available for another year. People need jobs. Gotta keep the economy going.

I have been reading foreign news and I’d say one thing... we better be glad we are in US. Other countries told their people to stay home, cancel schools and no stimulus. Some countries raised taxes to help with government lost revenues. Citizens of those countries actually point finger at US and say how it should be done.

They ate dogs in Russia during USSR collapse. Europeans ate dogs during world war 2.
-
Its also not just China that eats dogs... other countries do that as well. It usually depends on a person class. Dog meat is common among the very poor because that’s all they can afford. They eat dogs not because they enjoy it but because they hungry and all they can afford.

US has been sponsoring Coronavirus research at Wuhan institute that is accused for causing the leak. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8211291/U-S-government-gave-3-7million-grant-Wuhan-lab-experimented-coronavirus-source-bats.html

This virus will cost global economy many many trillions. Someone will have to pay the bill. It’s not a charity.

Exactly. The secrecy from beginning and until now. They got busted and you figured they would play along but they still trying to hide stuff. It screams guilty. I just tracked back who posted research on COVID-19 for US government and it was actually done by 2 Chinese researches lol. and the cool part... those 2 Chinese researchers published their research at exactly the same day in early February... about 1 weeks after it became global outbreak.

Government announced in mid March that it was natural made based on evidence that China sent to them (based on proteins). I’m almost certain there will be a full blown investigation and China would definitely try to cover it up. Reminds on Russian involvement and flight that was shutdown over Ukraine. Russia played along and produced a lot of evidence blaming Ukraine.

Yea, someone in Wuhan ate an undercooked bat.

Vaccine in US... yes. The rest of the world will cope with this going forward. This virus will never go away. It’s flu 2.0.

Multiple countries around the world believe its human made as virus is very complex and attacks humans and it just randomly popped up in a city that houses virology institute that researches SARS and coronaviruses in animals. What are the odds?
