My gosh... you and housing crash. There won’t be a housing crash. Interest rates will remain near zero for at least next 2 years. Most companies increased minimum wages to $15-$20 in hour which will drive everyone pay up over period of few year (even high earners). That in itself will cause inflation plus add COVID19 stimulus and you got a huge inflation waiting to happen in few years.
-
The inflation will grow much faster than people salaries. You will see house prices skyrocket in next 2-3 years. My neighborhood had 8 homes go on sale in May and all 8 sold in first week.
-
Oh for sure. Prior to 2008 everyone was getting approve for mortgage no matter what their credit score or income was. I worked in real estate 6 years ago and companies became much more risk averse. I think people who sit back and waiting for 2008 to happen will be very disappointed. Especially if you are sitting on pile of cash and we are about to hit some major inflation. You will lose some money.

It won’t fall in Charlotte. If that’s where you plan on buying.

Almost all banks lend to only prime right now. No more lending to subprime for foreseeable future. Some banks stopped doing HELOC no matter what credit score is.

“He said one institutional investor informed the bank Thursday that until further notice it will require borrowers to have a minimum 740 FICO score for approval of any cash-out refinance mortgage applications for conventional loans.“ https://www.post-gazette.com/business/money/2020/05/05/mortgage-banks-credit-score-loan-borrowers-home-lenders-COVID-19-down-payments/stories/202005010026 HHAngel Oak Mortgage Solutions of Atlanta, another big non-QM lender, said it temporarily stopped making low-documentation home loans. It started doing so again last week, but with changes. A borrower needs to provide 24 months of bank statements from their business and have a minimum FICO score of 700. Before, only 12 months were needed and borrowers needed only a 600 credit score. https://www.latimes.com/homeless-housing/story/2020-05-07/mortgage-lending-tightens-coronavirus

Which bank was that? I bet it was not a bank but some small mortgage company that have to take on additional risk in order to get revenue. What’s going to happen is that mortgage company will sit on that loan for a long time because they bank won’t buy it. https://www.post-gazette.com/business/money/2020/05/05/mortgage-banks-credit-score-loan-borrowers-home-lenders-COVID-19-down-payments/stories/202005010026

You still needed a score in high 600s. It will be no where close to 2008 real estate bubble. I doubt Charlotte will even feel the impact with extremely high demand for real estate here.
-
Nah, it won’t this time. You need to have ~740 score to buy a house today. The banks are being very careful.

NFLPA medical director Thom Mayer said the league and union are working on an N95-like device to use on face masks for when players return. "These modified face masks, which may include some form of either surgical or N95-like material in it, for a player...getting the helmet off, putting the mask right on afterwards, maintaining social distancing when not on the field as much as possible, using single-use hydration whether it be water or Gatorade...just every little detail anybody who's got a risk, I'd advise them to be zealous, religious, and frankly maniacally committed to minimizing the chance of spreading the virus," Mayer said. The league will undoubtedly instill some form of protection for players upon returning, and that likely won't end with upgraded face masks to wear on the field and along the sidelines. Viewers should continue to prepare for a very unique season.

Daaam! My both parents had COVID19 and they said it ain’t no flu. My mom had it easier than my dad. My mom had no fever and was just extremely fatigue and said it’s like her lungs were on fire... My dad fever would go away and he felt better then few days later his fever would shoot back up again. His body was acting very weird. They both could not taste or smell anything and had severe joint pain. My dad got sick first... 65 out of 120 employees got sick the same day at his workplace. He got my mom sick before showing symptoms. My mom offered me her plasma to build resistance... does it work?

We had multiple flu pandemics after 1946. We never moved on but our immune system adjusted over the last century to better fight it. With our technology and medical advancement and hygiene we lose thousands every week in US alone. We lost almost 100k in last 2 months in US alone. Now COVID19 is mutating and begun causing Kawasaki like disease in little kids and mass blood cloth issues in 30% of hospitalized patients and that was only discovered in last 2 weeks showing we do not know full extent of this virus but hey, let’s reopen and move on right?
-
Your compares are crazy. No, building houses on the beach is not like global pandemic. People chose to buy a house on the beach, people do not choose to get COVID19.

Which of you assholes already attended one? https://www.wsoctv.com/news/local/absolutely-unacceptable-people-attending-covid-19-parties-trying-create-herd-immunity/MXRH7K7DRFGI5D4CYMUMJCHPPA/

Aroung 80% of infected only stay in stage 1. 20% go into stage 2 and 5% go into stage 3 which is likely means death. Immune system becomes weak in sick and old people which causes to go from stage 1 to stage 2. Stage 3 immune system goes crazy and attacks own body causing organ failure.

Both of my parents had COVID19.... it ain’t no flu.
-
Our immune systems are built to handle the flu. Coronavirus is completely new virus which catches immune system by surprise. The virus is extremely tricky and tricks immune system into attacking itself. It takes immune system over a week to figure out the virus and begin to destroy it. Unfortunately, only healthy people have strong enough immune system to last over a week. That kind of talk comes only from a very ignorant person. You sir are an asshole.

Really? Damn... I just read it in local news. I guess they are behind on their game.
