Arsenal gambled big time.... They sold their best players to payoff stadium. Yet somehow they made CL every year... They paid off $1 billion stadium loan with 10% annual interest in 7 years while keeping $250 million cash in reserve in case team missed CL. Insane. Now Arsenal has zero debt, brand new stadium and about $120 million in transfer fees every year for the next 40 years. It was absolutely painful to be Arsenal fan from 2005 to 2012.

Wenger quietly rebuild Arsenal D earlier this year by discovering amazing talent of Fracis Coquelin and Hector Bellerin. He also signed Gabriel who played lights out. That's why Arsenal went on a winning streak. The reason Arsenal finished the season with 2 draws is because Giroud ran out of gas. When Giroud got bench, Arsenal scored 4 goals. Arsenal needs a striker midfielder/winger and goalie.

Wenger usually just laughs and says no when rumors are false.

Id take Reus in a heart beat, Wenger would play him as a Striker.

Arsenal has no true DM... They haven't had a good DM since 2004. Vidal is a great passer, his game is very similar to Fabregas. Vidal is just more physical and nastier. Wenger completely revamped back 5 last year and now he will focus on adding top class DM and Striker. Arsenal is very close to have a very nasty team.

apparently journalist who announced Alexis to Arsenal also announced Vidal to Arsenal is done and will be official after American cup. Alexis and Vidal have the same agent and both play for the same national team. Vidal is nasty, world class box to box midfielder. Would be an amazing signing. Reported fee is £25m.

Yea, Arsenal almost signed Pedro to be their back-up striker but decided to roll with Welbeck. This ended up being a huge mistake. Welbeck struggled as ST and then got hurt. Welbeck season was summed up in play against Chelsea where Arsenal was in must win mode and Welbeck failed to tap the ball into empty net from 2 feet away on 90th minute... Game finished in a tie. Giroud is great when fresh but after scoring 14 goals in 16 matches, he shutdown. Now Wenger raving about Walcott being ST. Walcott is Aaron Lennon... A back-up at best and Giroud will be 30 years old. If Arsenal fails to address striker position in this window, they are screwed.

Barcelona is interested in signing Aaron Ramsey. His price is £50m. Aaron Ramsey has been getting better and better and is absolute force for Arsenal at only 24 years old. From what I read is Wenger wants to go back to his old formation of 1-3-2-4. Ramsey is CM so if Wenger signs world class CDM, Ramsey becomes expendable. I'm not sure if I'd sell him for £50m tho... But possibilities are endless. Wenger might use Ramsey to get another player plus cash from Barcelona.

Liverpool need speedy striker, similar to Diego Costa type.
