Chelsea also have a lot of fresh meat. It takes time to build chemistry. You can tell they are not on the same page.

So is Zouma... he fall asleep. Henderson got the ball looked up and Zouma just stayed in midfield and watched him. Once Henderson passed the ball Zouma just went “oh poo”. CBs will be Chelsea’s weak link this year. That’s what Liverpool does... counterattack long balls. Very bad on Zouma part.

The game has been boring so far. So much firepower by both teams with average Ds and only 1 shot on target by both teams.

Liverpool looks crazy good on paper but most of their best players are around 29. Means high wages, little resell value and performance decline. Liverpool will been going thru huge rebuild in 2-3 years.

Giroud is an amazing guy. He actually got better after joining Chelsea but as human... he’s awesome. He’s 100% team player and he will be in coaching in few years.

Liverpool D started the season where they left off last year... looking like trash. VVD performance fell off the cliff over the last few months. These huge big guys tend to lose speed and agility in around 29 right where VVD is.

Auba-Laca-Willian look good on counters. Willian with a man of the match performance. Must improve on midfield... so slow. Arsenal new CB Gabriel is a big boy. Goal in his debut for the team.

Chelsea attack is going to be great this season. Lots of top Bundesliga talent was signed with attacking midfielders and forwards. But your D is still going to be somewhat of a suspect. I would say you need 1-2 quality CBs and then you will be able to compete to win PL.

Yea but they are defending for dear life and only countering. Their wings are good but need CM and CAM. They need to sell in order to buy.

Arsenal need midfield still. Their D and attack look good but midfield is dildos. They won’t get top 4 if they don’t get a good CM and CAM.

Gabriel picked to join Arsenal for less money and no CL instead of going to United.... I’m shocked. Arsenal young CBs look good on paper... One is 6’4 200lbs and another 6’3 190lbs. Big move from 5’11 Kocielny and 6’0 Mustafi. Ceballos is also coming back on another loan. I feel a bit better about the midfield.

VVD was not looking good near end of last season and he did not look good today. Arsenal must upgrade in midfield. D and forwards are solid but midfield is absolute garbage.

I caved in and signed up. They show a ton of English soccer. Now you got to have like 4 subscriptions to get all the games....

Oh man... Barca had a meltdown. They are too old. They need to completely rebuild the team but their older players are on crazy salary and impossible to sale.

Also, it’s funny Chelsea refused to give Willian new contract cause he’s 32 but possibly signing Silva who few weeks shy of his 36th birthday.

Arsenal are going into 2nd rebuilding mode since Wenger left. Arsenal just fired a ton of coaches and directors including head of football. Arteta is given free reign to buy and sell players.
