It’s called reputational risk. Flores attacked NFL and owners reputation. The companies have set rules to mitigate it. There is no guarantee that he will not sue them again if they bring him back. If he loses lawsuit, he’s done. They might settle and part of agreement will be that he won’t sue again. But if he loses, he’s done. I also don’t think NFL will settle because accusations are very strong.

I don’t think NFL will hire Brian Flores with current lawsuit pending. I think his NFL career is done.

You guys do realize you don’t need cash on hand to buy a team? Byron can just take out a loan. I bet you NFL can even give him private loan (LA stadium) if approved by the owners. Kroenke purchased Arsenal for $2B with zero cash. He took out low interest loan and made the team pay it off over 10 years. So he basically purchased $2B team for free. The rich/elite qualify for completely different perks most of us regular folks do. They do not need cash on hand to make money and make big purchases.

Free agent OT Greg Robinson was arrested Monday in Thibodaux, La. on nine felony drug charges. Robinson, 29, was pulled over for a traffic violation around midnight, and a police dog alerted at the presence of narcotics. Officers discovered 38.89 pounds of marijuana, 3.16 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, 2.22 pounds of cocaine, 4 grams of crack cocaine, 227 doses of hydrocodone, 48 doses of oxycodone and 18 doses of alprazolam along with “a large assortment of drug trafficking and packaging equipment/paraphernalia, firearm magazines and ammunition and a small amount of U.S. currency.” It's Robinson's second drug-related arrest in the last two years after he fell out of the league following the 2019 season. Robinson remained in jail Wednesday on $315,000 bond. The former No. 2 overall pick of the Rams is one of the biggest draft busts in recent memory.

9News' Mike Klis reports that media tycoon Byron Allen is set to submit a bid to buy the Denver Broncos. Allen is a business and media mogul who is the head of the entertainment company Entertainment Studios. According to Allen, Roger Goodell and Robert Kraft went to him in November of 2019 and asked him to think about purchasing an NFL team. He told Bloomberg on Tuesday that he is preparing to submit a bid to purchase the Broncos. Cheers to future first black owner of NFL franchise.

I had the weirdest dream last night. I never dream about the Panthers but this was super real. We fired Rhule and signed Troy Aikman… no clue.

I’d like to think Tepper only keeps Rhule to tank. Rhule gave away bunch of 2022 draft picks, signed duds to big 2 year deals. We are screwed for 2022 no matter Rhule or not.
