Official NFL Draft Round 1 Thread - General Chatter
Sam Mills Fan replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm so disappointed in the reaction of Panthers nation tonight by people that A.) Knew exactly nothing about Shaq Thompson before tonight and B.) Now believe because of Jon Gruden that we drafted a guy to be a special teamer So, so stupid. Shaq Thompson is a beast that I guarantee will be a Pro Bowl linebacker within the next 2-3 seasons. -
Difference between beating a dude and a woman. That's why Assault on a Female is an escalated charge in NC and Assault on a Male is something that doesn't exist.
-
Did I not try telling you guys a month ago just how bad the pictures really were? He beat the living poo out of a woman much smaller than him, 10 games sounds about right actually. And it's rare that guys come back in game shape immediately. Hardy will come to play against us having played one game in the past 2 years and guys were already saying he wasn't doing a great job of staying focused and in shape last season right? We'll probably lose to the Cowboys, but it won't be because of Greg Hardy.

Huddle logic: "Hardy's too awesome, it's way more important that he helps us win on the field than if he beat his girlfriend or not! "Martin got bullied and must be a pussy, that's way more important than if he helps us win on the field!"

Still my #1 target. Not that I want him in the 1st round, but nothing would make me happier come Draft Day than seeing us draft Crowder somewhere, anywhere. -
Mr. Richardson did flex muscles regarding Hardy
Sam Mills Fan replied to dswofford's topic in Carolina Panthers
I just think a guy like Hardy would fight to his grave if this woman pulled a Gone Girl on him which was what your post was implying she might have done. Very strange that you would reward something for doing something that despicable. -
Damn son, just how many people have that same Thomas Davis picture as their avi?

Mr. Richardson did flex muscles regarding Hardy
Sam Mills Fan replied to dswofford's topic in Carolina Panthers
If she really faked her injuries, do you honestly think Hardy would have been willing to pay her off? If someone did that to you and significantly ruined your reputation to a huge chunk of the entire country, would you reward that lying skank with a 7 figure payout? Dozens of photos of her bruises exist. This is a fact. Hardy paid her off so the charges would be dropped. This is a fact. The only reasonable conclusion I can come up with knowing those two things is that Hardy paid her off because he knew he was guilty. -
Mr. Richardson did flex muscles regarding Hardy
Sam Mills Fan replied to dswofford's topic in Carolina Panthers
I know this is retreading old ground at this point, but I would say his story is "possible", not likely or "very believable" though. That's a TON of bruises all over the body. Anyway, I don't want to debate this really. I'm just throwing the evidence logs out there for people to look at for themselves in case it changes their mind like it did for me. -

Finally. Scroll through this gallery and read exactly what the evidence is for yourself: http://www.wsoctv.com/gallery/news/local/images-greg-hardy-case-evidence-logs/gCNMm/ -
Mr. Richardson did flex muscles regarding Hardy
Sam Mills Fan replied to dswofford's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is the best I have for now, but I clicked through one of those media displays on one of the local sites a couple of weeks ago and it had listed every single photo and what was on it. I'll be able to dig that up in a few more minutes hopefully: http://www.wbtv.com/story/28098680/evidence-from-greg-hardy-case-now-in-lawyers-hands (Check the description of the photos) -

If I post the link proving you wrong with photos of the evidence logs descriptions, I want you to make a post about how awesome and right I always am. Deal? -
Mr. Richardson did flex muscles regarding Hardy
Sam Mills Fan replied to dswofford's topic in Carolina Panthers
The acknowledgement of what was in those evidence logs is really what changed everything for me. I don't need to see them really, just the fact that there are photos of injuries all over her body tells me everything I need to know. This whole time I thought there was just a bruise on her face, I had no idea about this other stuff. -
Mr. Richardson did flex muscles regarding Hardy
Sam Mills Fan replied to dswofford's topic in Carolina Panthers
I've been one of Hardy's biggest supporters for the past 9 months, at least in terms of keeping him. But there was a big development that happened quietly last month that basically nobody paid attention to: turns out the DA's office had in its possession pictures of bruises and welts all over Nicole Holder's body from head to toe. Face, arms, legs, torso, back, feet......Hardy clearly did it. If he thought she faked it, he would have fought tooth and nail and would have never paid her off. Now that you can (I believe) definitively say Hardy did beat her, it becomes a matter of giving someone a second chance. However, since Hardy is maintaining his innocence, he'll never be apologizing and admitting what he did. So I think I'm going to begrudgingly agree with Richardson's decision to let him go. As for Cam or Luke getting the same treatment, Hardy was basically on their same level in terms of playmaking ability. And I think if someone accused those two of beating them and they had pictures of their injuries all over their body to prove it, I think they would have gotten the same treatment from Richardson, I really do. -

Considering Jerry Richardson booted Greg Hardy and Jerry Jones signed him, I would try another analogy.- 248 replies

Alan "Blue Balls" Ball leaves Panther offer on table

We lost our man and Voth was wrong for a change. Up is down, black is white, Byron Bell is god, etc. -
Todd Gurley to visit with the Panthers
Sam Mills Fan replied to TylerVagyler's topic in Carolina Panthers
To those saying we shouldn't draft him because of health concerns, we WON'T draft him if Gettleman doesn't feel comfortable with the way his knee is. If we draft him, that's a sign that his knee is expected to be fine. And I have no problem with taking Gurley. When we drafted Kuechly, weren't people going WTF at picking another linebacker when we already had Jon Beason? Some of the best picks in Panthers history have been when we've zigged when people thought we were going to zag. -
"Why the 49ers should move all in for Luke Kuechly in 2016"
Sam Mills Fan replied to Moorgan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Impressive clickbait. Unimpressive: The delusional 49er fan spelling Luke's last name right and Huddle dude Moorgan not even coming close. -
Twitter War Marc James vs Chris Kro[E]ger. .
Sam Mills Fan replied to WOW!!'s topic in Carolina Panthers
Marc James is mouth diarrhea and Chris Kroeger is awesome, but I do have one complaint about Kroeger: He can be annoying on Twitter at times. Mainly with the LOLs and text speak. Way different than his radio persona which is extremely professional I think. Have to remember though that the guy is actually still in his 20s I think. Edit: I wanted to add that I too tweet like that, but I'm just some dude that doesn't have his own professional-sounding radio show. -
That's not necessarily a bad thing, it just is what it is. We haven't signed what we thought was an elite player in free agency since Sean Gilbert in 1998. We haven't had a Colts 2015 offseason since 1996 when we signed Eric Davis and Kevin Greene, both of which were coming off Pro Bowl years. If you decide to become a fan of the Carolina Panthers, this is what you sign up for and should know going in. We'll have a quiet free agency period this year, next year, and the year after that. Why that has kept happening through different GMs, I can only speculate. But don't act like our big free agent signing being some dude named Teddy Williams is something that's only happened this year and has only happened with Gettleman.
