    The defensive stops have been all Burns so far. So many trying to trade him should feel silly.

    Howell isn’t good in practice and he didn’t measure well nor put on a good showing at the combine. But he’s stone cold when the lights come on.

    How the heck does PFF know what coverage is called? Yes, he looked like crud during that Tampa game last year, but he got no help against Mike Evans.

    Can’t believe we passed on Howell for Corrall. And that we traded up. At least it was Rhule who made the decision.

    Can definitely tell the new fans caring about preseason points. If you have confidence in your players in practice, there is no reason to put actual game plans into these glorified scrimmages where the only thing that actually matters is determining the bottom 5 spots on the roster.

    I expect him to look great for the niners. He’s had two awful situations thus far and I saw enough glimpses in both to know he can be a good starting QB.

    I want any of these over a first round QB. Keep making the team better with marquee players at prime spots and we will eventually luck into a great QB.

    Offensive line was god awful that saints game too. Interior pressure as soon as the ball was snapped, especially once Corbett went down.

    Judging by the other thread, there’s going to be a lot of folks upset when Darnold is the starter next year. And it will be even worse when he looks like he’s progressed. Never will admit they are wrong and will continue looking for the next top 10 rookie QB bust.
