OP is as foolish as you can get as an anonymous sports "fan". Jesus give up and just hope the team gets better stop worrying about individuals to the point of stalker status.

BREAKING: Panthers might hang on to Ejiro Evero
KeptPounding89 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
They wanted the defense and offense to be a separate entity from the interim HC to focus on properly evaluating each. Which was the right choice. -
I like Johnson but wonder who he's connected to for a staff. We need continuity and innovation accross the board if we go with him. If not I honestly think Harbaugh is ready to come back to the NFL and wouldn't mind him and his power rushing and attacking defense here.
-
Our defense is admirable for its short comings. They are not game changing enough to be considered anything more than middle of the pack. Is that because of injuries, scheme, or personnel? We may never know for sure because I do not feel anyone from this defensive staff will be retained to fully realize Eve's potential.

I like the idea of Tomlin more than the actuality of him. He's been in Pittsburgh too long idk what to expect from him elsewhere.

I know some of you will think this means nothing
KeptPounding89 replied to Frank9999's topic in Carolina Panthers
It hasn't even been a full season but some on here need to be right all the time, so they just go with whats right in front of them rather than allow things to happen organically. He's young and hasn't had much NFL success, everyone needs a boost. Not all of us were good at our first "real" job, do you think people acting like a douche to us while we were going through the motions whether good or bad would help. Constructive criticism is one thing but outright condescending undertones or bullying is really sad to see so often for the same posters over and over. This feels like how things were when we first got Cam some loved him from the get because of the excitement he brought and his capabilities others nitpicked every little thing he did wrong, brought up the laptop situation, called him a running QB that wouldn't amount to much, etc. Outside of football these are real people just like us no better or no worse and until they are blatantly disrespectful to you directly or clearly cannot do their job after being given adequate time, try to be positive and put all your energy into hoping the team gets better or look to invest time into other things because man a lot of you anonymous online nobodies sure take whats said and done on here to the heart and forget none of your opinions (mine included) matter in the real world. Last thing I will say is a lot of you still live in the NC area and could go to games events, etc and meet these players directly. Would any of you be man enough to go up to Bryce and probably be the same height or shorter and say the nonsense you say anonymously online to him in person. I'd love to see it. I won't even add Bryan Burns to this because once y'all got within arms length of him and really how puny you were the groupie in you would come out, lol. -
A lot of talk on here I have been reading making snarky comments about his processing versus output has me a little confused. When someone processes something in their head it doesn't always equate to favorable or expected output, especially when other dynamics are at play and you are relying on a lot of moving pieces. This is in no way trying to excuse some of Bryce's bad performances but I really think that we are placing way too much blame on a singular entity when things go wrong. If we lose, it's a collective loss, if we win vice versa. Support is lacking in many faucets but the only ones we can control is our part of the fanbase and until we are in irrecoverable territory maybe being a little more optimistic will help alleviate those thoughts in your head colluding your outward emotions in your daily lives.

Jim Harbaugh- Meet the Candidate- Part 2 of 12
KeptPounding89 replied to ProcessBlue2's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm fully on board with this tbh, it's the best overall hire because we know what he's done and can build a staff accordingly. Outside of Luck at Stanford he has never leaned on the QB needing to be a game changer but rather a punishing rushing attack and a stout defense allowing the QB to manage the game and be less reliant on one player. I would take him over most candidates, possibly even Ben Johnson but only if Harbaugh has a decent amount of say in who is drafted and signed in FA because we've seen what happens when you have too many conflicting minds trying to build a team by making themselves look good singularly. -
Black helmets need to be the norm. Matte blue as the “color rush”, keep the silver for throw backs. Slightly change the uniform and logo again and try to come out strong with an evolved identity of the cardiac cats.

Should we seriously consider Evero for head coach?
KeptPounding89 replied to PleaseCutStewart's topic in Carolina Panthers
I wouldn’t be mad at it but he’d have to pull off a hell of a diamond in the rough OC hire. I’m honestly hoping we throw a shitload of money at Ben Johnson and someone he’s aligned with for GM. If not him I feel Harbaugh could do great things his second time in the NFL. -
You started posting here on 3/31, you’re just as new to “contributing” as me. I don’t get the need to be condescending to me when I just started.

The Unofficial GM/HC candidate list
KeptPounding89 replied to methodtoll's topic in Carolina Panthers
Honestly anyone from a FO with consistent success in the draft is what I prefer. Our team used to be built similarly to the Ravens so that’s honestly a good place to look. I can’t remember the last time they full on had a terrible draft. HC is more of a crap shoot. It depends on how much control they want the HC to have and what type of offensive identity they prefer. I for one think we should be a smash mouth rushing team with a QB that compliments that rather than being asked to do it all. Jim Harbaugh comes to mind initially but there are always going to be reservations with him. Ben Johnson’s offense looks great against most teams but some defensive buzz saws have been able to brutally expose their weaknesses. There is no perfect hire but I feel some of the best from previous cycles we’ve missed out on. There’s hopefully some diamonds in the rough like a Frank Smith, Ben Johnson, or Mike Macdonald but I’m all for a new approach from Tepper his money has talked but decisions have not walked since buying the team. -
Tepper’s approach is the problem not him as a whole or his goal. Khan and York both had their teams worst in the league for their respective first years and ended up finally working out for them. All we need now is a proper HC and GM hire simultaneously so that we can have the foundation of some continuity.

It’s also funny how the Panthers won today and there’s next to no engagement on the site. Normally after a loss I’d come here and see post after post ready to blame Bryce, Tepper, and the coaching staff. Tonight there’s little to no talk about anything, which tells me the most active posters on here have an agenda and if there’s nothing to feed of of them they choose to ignore it. Quite ironic.

Honestly the line on the defensive side kept us in it by pretty much ensuring their rushing attack didn’t take advantage of the conditions. But my heart wants TB and Young to get it solely from that last drive in the rain and everything on the line.

The S2 lab and its testing... not for the faint of heart
KeptPounding89 replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
The worst team in pro sports is either the Athletics or the Pistons. We might be the most dysfunctional but there’s hope if people just allowed time to pass. The best part about the turn around will be those who didn’t have faith will act like 2023 never happened because then they’d have to own up to their short sighted irrational behavior. -
What is really like to know is how many of the plays called were TB and how many did Bryce check into. This drive was similar to the one we beat the Texans on and thankfully both ended up as wins. I do however see a glaring issue in both games that we cannot afford to continually count on. Defense held up all 4 quarters. This will not and cannot continually be expected. The main things you build off any great drive like this or win is confidence. Like they said on the broadcast any time Bryce is given a chance to make decisions and not have a defender in his face in 2 seconds then he can try to make a play or attempt to throw a receiver open. Confidence is key to end the year whether we win or not. Then come the offseason and we build around a punishing rushing attack, play action and motion. Simple as that.

@Icege I have been a long time lurker maybe a decade now. I predominantly read here an inferior site comments and contribute occasionally on Reddit. I felt the need to finally say my peace here also. @Bear Hands should look to encourage other more tenured mods or Igo if he still cares to review other mods bias because over the past maybe 2 years I have notice him throughly take advantage of his status and since we drafted Bryce Young he’s gone on to allow other posters to make this place further become the equivalent of the Panthers Facebook page quality of commenter. Yes everyone has a differing POV but to full on bait people into getting banned by pushing the limits, critiquing anything our QB does whether positive or negative and making it a bash fest, joining in on hate posts and fueling the fire to make them the most commented threads honestly should’ve had him removed from being a mod a while ago. Once he sees this he will go into vendetta mode and look for any reason to defend himself and try to ban anyone against him. This place used to be pretty solid hell the people who posted nonsense before were at least funny when they would go off the rails, what we are seeing now is lack of structure, lack of leadership, and most importantly lack of unison because at the end of the day we are all supposedly fans of the same team and coming together would be good in these times. Don’t you think!
