Again. Young offensive mind with HC experience in the NFL. Don't forget his middle name IS Monte. He is NFCS royalty and since we drafted Matt Corral it becomes more likely every day that Lane Monte Kiffin will LIKELY be your next coach (I'd prefer giving Harbaugh a shot but oh well). So it is then highly likely Matt Corral becomes a package deal with Lane Kiffin and is your QB for life...

I've been saying he's the best of this class. I really really really like Levis but that speaks more to the class as a whole not being special.

Ok, doesn't change a thing. There isn't a 6'6" 250lb bulldozer QB in this draft. Is Stroud or Levi the Heisman trophy winner, don't know. Are Stroud or Levis SEC championship winning QBs? We don't know. We do know Cam was all of those things before becoming a Panther and Cam is the most singular reason we won enough to get to the Superbowl. How many QBs have had a 15-1 season? Not very many. Cam is better than you think. If you watched that Superbowl you'd know the fix was in so give the guy a break he's the best we've had and should be respected as such.

Tepper never cared what fans wanted, if anything his hard head has softened a little and maybe he'll be more considerate. Him still lusting after Sean Payton actually risking getting fined and picks being taken away doesn't show that he's learning a damn thing though. It's classless.

I'm finally excited - a chance to rebuild the right way

Tepper is busy stalking folks he can't have like Sean Payton and DeSean Watson, looking more and more Fhulish. -
Jay Glazer claims Panthers asked him if Payton would come here

This makes Tepper look like a creepy stalker. He's been lusting after everything Saints since he came here, trying to model this organization in that stank filthy image. This is a STUPID and blatantly idiotic notion that that would even be possible or that the Saints would even entertain such moronic foolishness. Tepper is delusional. Mediocre or not Panthers organization for the most part stayed classy. This guy has actually 0 cuth. -
Nobody will live up to Peppers. Does his size, speed, motor, aggression, athleticism translate to the next level? He's prototype, he's big, he's fast, he's strong and everybody has a tough time blocking him on the college level. He gets sacks and forced fumbles. Do all those qualities make you a top ten DE?! YES. All day. Every day.

SAVE DJ! DJ wants to be here. Because of the kinda high pick they're giving up for Corral this next draft, to me he's a lock, pencil him in. Good thing for DJ Corral is very accurate within the 0-20yrd range. Good at quick hits. I'd imagine that would translate well to smoke routes/screens etc. especially with that quick release. Where people may argue is that 20-30 yrs range but there is no shortage of armstrength in Corral and in drills that we were so graciously allowed to see Corral had plenty of zip and accuracy and was the first to swish the fade route hoop, twice before anybody else did it once with a nice arc and touch. If the line gets better, more cohesive and with Matt Corrals continued growth now under the roof of BofA I certainly think we could have a Nick Richards type situation, a player coming back, stronger more precise. DJ leaving would set Corral back for sure but I think DJ knows who the QB should be but he's not Robbie, he's a company guy for the most part he's not going to yell out who he'd prefer.

They should definitely get a DE. They kind of painted themselves in a corner with the trade to pick up Corral. They basically bet that Corral would be better than the 60th-70th pick they'll give up this year. He's playing. We shouldn't spend a high pick to compete with the guy whether deserved or undeserved, you had as QB1. They're much better off taking a chance on a QB early in the second round to duke it out with Corral. Like I've said, IF they go first round QB it would be absolutely asinine to make him compete with Corral. What if he loses? That devalued your first rounder. QB is a choice and you have a backup. QB competitions seem amateurish. Every good team knows who their damn QB is, the last coach was the opposite, winging it, playing coy, wasting everyone's time. There aren't that many NFL level QBs that you can actually have a "competition".
