  1. There was also a nice pass Corral threw to the end zone that should have been caught. Corral should have caught that one. He sucks.
  2. He escaped the pocket beautifully and hit the TE in the hands for a potential 20-30 gain and he dropped it. Maybe the TE didn't expect the ball to hit his hands like that. Totally Corrals fault, pathetic.
  3. Had Corral been more selfish he also wouldn't be a Panther.
  4. Mental reps instead of real reps. Three guys in front of him. The guys he had were guys mostly not on the team, guys who may not have started with him at Ole Miss. I just want to see if he can be anything like he was in college, just maybe staying in the pocket more or rolling out. Although he's a great runner(go watch his film) he needs to be more conservative, less hero ball. I love his heart but his heart ultimately lead to him falling in the draft. As the great Walter Payton once said to a rookie iirc "You're sweetness is your weakness". Had Corral been more selfish he would have thought about the bag and draft position instead of "not letting his guys down". Had he not kept in touch with his former WR who went to jail maybe the media or whoever wouldn't have twisted it into "bad company" "decision making". Show me a college student that doesn't partake in the sauce and who isn't going through something and I'll show you an empty locker room, well maybe AC Green.
  5. He said chased down from behind by a DT. When was that, since we're documenting what we could see in garbage time behind used car salesmen? Let's not make stuff up to put the guy down like "I saw him play NFL football and he sucked". That's a lie.
  6. Aaaaasaaand Pickles was playing with the first team. Corral never did. Unless YOU saw something we weren't allowed to. Hold your overly hasty horses. We haven't seen the guy play with NFL talent yet but we've got the same mantra continuing. At least be honest, "the third string looked horrible".
  7. When was that because we missed it? Do you mean with NFL players around him? That may be 10% correct at best. You didn't see Matt Corral with the first or second string on purpose. They didn't plan to play him this year, he wanted to play, they called him a "developmental pick" in the press conference directly after the draft. Do any of those QBs careers so far match up to Matt Corral's? Completion percentage? Mobility? Like PJ Corral stays accurate on the run. The guy runs like a running back. He's putting on weight, working out at BofA as we speak. Stroud isn't as mobile as Corral and Young could be but he's 2" 15lbs shorter than Matt when he came into the league. This QB class has two frontrunner QBs that may ultimately drop because of that mistrust. The only one who can match up well with Corrals skill set is Levis. A true dual threat in his own right and heavy enough to back it up.
  8. I'd even change to 4-3 and try Will Anderson at MLB. He'd be an absolute animal at the NFL level at that position imo.
  9. We're not getting the first people need to come to grips with that. Next Levis will be QB1, what team does it, we don't know. I agree with huddlers that have said Will Anderson looks like another Micah Parsons. I was here on this site lobbying hard for a Parsons+Trask draft that season. I think Anderson definitely has "it" he's a Von Miller type, a 3-4 guy. The other elite DE is suited for 4-3 in Clemson's Myles Murphy, 6'5" 275lbs 4.5 40. Big, strong, fast, NFL frame and weight from the jump, a monster. I'm not greedy. We wanted the organization to draft a QB capable of starting. They went out of their way to steal Ickey AND THE Matt Corral. A month or so before that draft before the whisper campaign and Corral pushing the limits playing in the senior bowl after already having come back from that injury instead of waiting on the bag with his feet up, having acquired those two players in the same draft would have got a guy GM of the year. People here that think Fitts has given up on Matt Corral got another thing coming. Another DE opposite Burns and a competent QB and we're back in business.
  10. Since I'm supposedly a Zod alt I'll sell it to you for four easy payments of $999.99
  11. I would be ecstatic if the Panthers won the NFCS. That would have been my dream scenario before this season, they get rid of Rhule, benched Baker,Baker,Baker, rode with PJ and win the division with Charlotte native Wilks at the helm. Not standing behind these guys is hating. Tepper obviously didn't want to do it but he made necessary change only a couple games in. He listened. He and they deserve our support. They played their asses off.
  12. I always said it should be Corral and PJ. The other dead weight can kick rocks.
  13. Don't get triggered, the drafted a QB they desperately want to succeed because otherwise they'd look stupid, don't get triggered...
  14. Yeah, we're supposed to care about the Lakers and everything they need, so we'll just give them everybody they want to get rid of a guy on his last leg they no longer want. The nerve. F' da Lakers
  15. So watching a QB play with the third string players who are mostly on the streets and not in the NFL tells you what exactly? That HE sucks or third stringers probably suck? Corral doesn't block, Corral doesn't catch, he wasn't out there with the starters or the backups they were leftover players he was trying to get on the same page example: "Still, Corral was not thrilled with his play. He was out there with an odd lot of receivers at the end of the depth chart, and the kind of line that you get in the fourth quarter of a preseason game, but he wasn't in the mood for any excuses. He saw it as his fault alone that it wasn't smoother." https://www.panthers.com/news/matt-corral-preseason-debut-memorable-if-not-perfect-washington So how can anyone say they saw anything that would indicate how good of a QB he is or isn't in garbage time with 3rd string everybody? He did lead that rag tag bunch into a field goal to win the game. He didn't lose the game for us. No credit for that though. Let me help, third stringers are selling cars at the Infiniti dealership and Matt Corral is getting stronger and preparing for 2023 at BofA stadium. Why? Because Matt Corral isn't a third stringer and was talented enough to be traded for, while nobody would trade Baker for a ham sandwich. Nobody has seen Matt Corral play with the first or second team so claiming to know anything about who he is as a NFL QB without first seeing him with an NFL line, WRs, TE, etc. isn't fair observation or an informed opinion, it's a hit job.
  16. Hey, pal, has Baker had a game like this one PJ had? Playing all four quarters instead of stinking half the game? Baker is a bust if u didn't already know. PJ deserves the start over Baker and your Baker love won't change the fact he's ass cheeks.
  17. You just did. He isn't the best QB on the roster, he's likely the worst, proven by his play and his inability to run this offense while PJ excelled. PJ is processing faster, is more accurate, laterally shifts when hands are in his throwing lane, he lets defender's get drawn into the screen while he calmly dumps it over their heads. You're just going to have to come to the conclusion we all have by watching him without the offense Cleveland built around him, it sticks out like a sore thumb, he's below average.
  18. PJ was better than Baker this whole time. I wonder who else was better than Baker this whole time too?
  19. Fify. Stroud and Young are on frontrunner squads. Corral went to a struggling SEC program and lifted them into relevancy.
