What’s your 2023 QB big board (including Corral)
rippadonn replied to Wundrbread33's topic in Carolina Panthers
For now I must respect that. He came in recovering from a injury. He's getting stronger every day. NFL training. I think Corral in August will be stronger than the young rookie coming out. 1. Levis 2.Corral (because a year of NFL conditioning and study) 3.Stroud 4. Hooker 5. Young 6. Richardson (stay in school) -

I'll take accuracy over system all day every day. That translates. -
I had a good vantage point Sam looked like the best QB by far although the Lions share of the reps at fanfest were split between Baker and Sam with a splash of PJ and a dash of Corral. Sam was actually moving the ball. Baker looked and played exactly the same. Actually, that day Sam was getting yards with his feet too, as if to show he still had his wheels. Baker was running to the sidelines, like we've seen a few times since.

It's obvious PJ is a better QB. He runs the offense better, moving folks, changing protections, moving around in the pocket, actually letting the screen develop sucking in the defender BEFORE he camly arcs it over their outstretched arms. Changing pace with quick decisions and firing the ball in. PJ like Corral remains accurate while on the run. I'm so impressed with PJ. He deserves the job. It's been a thing of beauty watching PJ play like that. No fear. Just accuracy, IQ.

Like I've said here already Baker was an unfortunate casualty of the insane mind of Matt Rhule who couldn't resist another wayward QB. I wish him all the best. He is a Panther now so we here should show some respect because he's worn our uniform. I do think PJ who has been a Panther for some time now, is a better player at this point. The distance between their level of play is astounding. With PJ all of a sudden this team looks like it can compete for the division, especially the way the defense continues to play.

I wasn't picking on the person or singling them out, not even a dust up. We've had more back and forth and we're somewhat cool. When I agree with you I pie, flame, etc. When I don't agree with you I'm not putting you Jimmy on ignore I rarely even poo folks. That's some serious sensitivity we're talking about here. Soft.
-
Others have the balls to say what they feel and back up their arguments. I even respect you for that although we don't always agree. If someone isn't harassing you or constantly trolling you, being "hurt" by strong opinion is p*ssy.
-
Lol, hurt by the internet. Man I didn't even put any effort out and I did that?! Must be some very sensitive folk up in here, up in here. Bold letters must make this person... Pathetic.

I would make a statement in agreement but according to @Jackie Lee that would be spamming. -
The same place as in correct. Yes that happens over here a lot.

Jackie is off the nice list y'all.

The problem is Corral is going to be a year ahead of any of these rookies when they actually get here. He will have the advantage which makes another QB less likely. They intend to develop him. They said that. People weren't listening. It's just the same fan drool over QBs when they get the top pick, which we haven't. If Corral beats the in coming QB we've passed on perhaps a star DE or whoever and wasted that pick. They do have a lot of capital in multiple picks so IF it's Levis and that's who they want, who knows, or they could use those extra picks/players to get two picks in the first or second. The Rhule school of "competition" in the NFL is a farce. Everyone should know who's starting, if you don't, you're Matt Rhule and not the 31 other NFL coaches. -
Earth and grass please. My old water bottles need not be causing turf toe.
-
Instead of putting his billions to work making the grass field at BofA the best in the NFL he lays down cheap carpet.

The team that beat the Bucs doesn't look like a team picking in the top five. PJs pocket awareness is soooooo much better than Baker. He actually helps his line with quick decisions and being aware of pressure and moving to the other side of the pocket thus buying time for receivers to get open. He'll side step laterally into a passing lane and fire. I looked back and watched him toy with the pass rush. PJs pocket game is a game within the game. Very impressed with his decision making, calmness, technical prowess. I believe they'll win a few games. Maybe more than we think. -

Matt Rhule is being blamed for "fugging this kid" but he's gone and the huddle continues to fug this kid. He did everything right and gets the short end of the stick for it. -
Proud of those guys. We have real depth now. Mitch... You need depth to get deep into the playoffs. You need length to get further when the game slows to half court and you need to guard elite bigs. LaMelo and Terry are on the bench laughing because they know what's coming when they and Martin come back.

We haven't seen Corral with the first team line. Not publicly, so judge him AFTER that before all the slack talk, then I'll agree or disagree. He didn't have guys who could catch, I just named two drops that would have made his stat line reflect the effort. Gotta see him with fellow starters like himself. Until then it's just spoiled children turning their head not having tasted the deliciousness before their very lips. -

The Golden Panther shall return. Once you guys see Young Lion, aka Golden Corral, aka MC9, aka Golden Boy play he'll remind you of Aaron Rodgers. Just watch. I'm glad we're in our own Russell Wilson situation. I'm not greedy. We could really really really really use a monster DE on the other side of Burns. A good QB and a D line like that and a O line is how 2003 and 2015 happened. We could be back quickly with just a little more rush in our pass rush.
