Time to get LOUD folks!
-
Lol. Of course I'm not talking about US... We're getting LOUDER!
-
Levis and Richardson are more day one NFL ready than Young to me because they are bigger bodies and an equally accurate and strong arm in Levis. Risk reward value for Young is late first early second due to the speed, strength, weight and height difference in the NFL. Young would give me Chosen Anderson vibes, praying for the guy to get up time after time after getting smacked.

Alabama's line won't be there.

CJ is day one ready in all aspects of the NFL QB traits. Young is a HUGE risk and could be a liability because of his small stature at the NFL level. He's smaller than Tua. I wouldn't want to be responsible for what I think would happen to him in the NFL in a matter of time. Get LOUD!
-
When it all comes down to it, that's all that matters, that your guy works for you. AR will be a beast but again, if refs call games differently because of his stature, there goes the upside. Because of that Cam, who was more refined coming out, had to focus on playing the game the NFL wanted him to play as a QB or get absolutely rocked without a yellow flag to be seen.

Like I pointed out Scot had a post from league sources that said he wasn't being shopped but phones would be ringing. Corral would be better off here being a back up to Stroud, training under Reich and McCown, actually having groomed a starter and a backup for us is THE best thing this staff can do for the long term stability of this franchise. Matt Corral is on a cheap contract and is a former blue chip and outstanding college QB. No reason to throwing away a good player carelessly.
-
What performance? The couple snaps behind a Rhule 3/4 string squad?! Nobody has seen Corral in ANY meaningful NFL snaps, not with first or second string NFL caliber players. EC, you know better than the knuckle draggers. Corral hasn't played a down in a NFL game, NOT even ONE. Any judgement is without prejudice and conjecture at best.

Tony Pauline: CJ Stroud or Anthony Richardson

Not throwing looks cowardly like he didn't think he'd measure up. Healing from injuries just like every other guy throwing at the combine is no excuse. -
IF Cam Erving comes back cheap, would you want him back?

Also, the foolish have already done that and failed because of that flawed logic. Chill out and keep listening noble grasshopper. -

Sorry, he was ass cheeks in Cleveland and was of no real use here but as a mentor/backup. Get out of the bargain basement and shop for mentors that can actually play too. -

Intriguing but I'd have to play it safe and get the guy who checks boxes NOW. Get LOUD! -

Maaaaaaaaan, that combine, he showed out. IF there was any staff in Panthers history that could get the most out of a Cam/Anthony it would be this one. The Cam lover in me is aroused but his passing game not being as refined as Cam scares me, the question do we want to run our QB as a weapon again? Will the refs/NFL allow AR to beast on them man vs boys style?! They made it painfully OBVIOUS they weren't going to allow Cam to be Cam and if he didn't play by their Rhules it was open season on his head with every LB, DB, CB in the NFL in on the hit. Flashbacks y'all. Cam was a blessing and the NFL'S deliberate and orchestrated curse got worse. -
He's shorter than all the guys you mentioned. A small forward can play center but the other team with everyone playing their natural position (height/weight)will win for a reason. It's just life buddy.

Carolina willing to move Corral. Cost won’t be high.

There's also nothing bad about Matt Corrals contract, Reich coaching and developing the QB he's drafting as well as the basically fresh to the NFL Corral in my opinion would be a more stable strategy going forward. If Corral is better than Eason he needs to be QB2 behind Stroud, no playing favorites like Rhule. -

If he shows out and looks like the late first rounder he was supposed to be we can possibly get more in return and the guy in a possible starting situation. As it stands Scots post a couple back kinda flys in the face of the Op in that, nobody actually knows what they're going to do yet. -

Trading Corral now or talking about trading him NOW is STUPID and a very Rhulesque thing to do. Dumb as sh*t because he has absolutely NO value until WE/THEY see him play at least in training camp. Awful strategic thinking over there at Mint Street. We could have got a sh*tload from the Bears for Cam had we let him play in camp. Same stupid mistake HERE. DUMB -

Really tough break. They also said Reich hasn't coached ANY QB under 6'2". Almost all of Reich's QBs were 6'3"+ so Young comes up a bit short. Getting Louder! -

I can't see why #9 couldn't back up Stroud, UNLESS Young Lion isn't yet willing to be a backup. Backing up Stroud or any QB is just one play away from starting. In any case like anybody else the Panthers have drafted, I'm obviously rooting for him anywhere he goes. -

Will Levis is a waaay better QB at QBing and throwing accurately. Me and Payton Manning say so. -
