Cam Newton will be a free agent next year. Panthers could right an intrinsic wrong. But we're not Patriots level thinkers over here, are we? Belichick remembered those ars whoppings that Cam and the Panthers delivered to them. Constantly.

Miscalculation. We had a franchise QB that could play for us another 3-5yrs. He's not a quitter like Andrew Luck but Andrew Luck was treated properly and with respect after his injury. He was allowed to heal and was allowed to come back if he wanted to forever. THATS how you treat a franchise QB. Not every NFL team has a franchise QB. Cam is the best talent this team has ever had. His impact to the team in general was a level above even the great #89. Cam had the HEART and the physical ability others just aren't born with. Sad.

Ya'll are lucky Sean Payton didn't get his hands on him.

Cam Newtons arm is sooo shot and his career and future as a QB in the NFL is so much in question from people that aren't doctors, you a doctor?, that he was signed once again signed by the New England Patriots. He was sooooo done they asked him to come back. How foolish does that sound? He sucked sooooo much. The best team in football for the last decades DOCTORS said the arms good. All those Superbowls. Dummies, right?

Tepper made a bet that Cam was done. I wouldn't bet against Cam Newton, WE knew that, HE made a miscalculation and if the Patriots start winning with this QB that was DONE Teppers decisions look more suspect. Some of us here thought Cam had at least 3-5 years left. Who's winning so far?

See, this is what I was talking about us having multiple guys who can give you double figures, even if a "star" has an off night we've got at least eight guys who can give you 20pts at any time. The Hornets have never had THAT much firepower. I'm enjoying this. That's how you become a playoff team.

The Teddy situation was BIG mistake. The Cam mistakes were BIG mistakes. Free agents aren't coming or giving discounts to play for team with no QB.

I've been a Panther fan since day one. My only conclusion is we're not allowed while they are. Why are we always shopping at Kmart even though this franchise is all of a sudden flush with cash? How the cap means nothing to the Aints and is the very reason we have to stay mediocre? We don't have a real QB either so the desire to sign here like when we had a respectable roster is diminished greatly. What's going to make DJ want to stay? This team is a joke until the self inflicted QB situation is resolved.

Some teams aren't teams at all, just dancers, placeholders, other thans. Look at the extremes the NFL went to to "stop" Cam Newton. It was obvious. The NFL hierarchy didn't like swag, dabs, and certainly didn't want the Panthers to win anything. Look at spygate. NFL had the evidence of the Patriots taping the Panthers and the two big guys who came for the evidence reportedly smashed the tapes after receiving them. My short answer is FAVOR. Favor ain't fair.

Free agent Cam Newton might be a steal. He's been looked at by New Englands doctors and cleared for play. You know, doctors. I'm not a doctor.
