That was the media pick last season. Pickles Pickett this year. They will have something in common soon.

2nd round to starter this coming year. Pretty darn good.

How's Zach Wilson working out?

After all this we can shrug our shoulders and say we tried and watch the Broncos draft Carson Strong. -

Pickett would be a third rounder at best in the past. The smokescreen before the draft to fool dumb teams into picking Zach Wilson instead of a better Mac Jones or passing up on Patrick Mahomes to draft Mitch Trubisky OR trading Kobe Bryant to LA for Vlade? Some guys have better agents than others it seems and dumb teams like our Panthers are eating up the likes of Willis and fifth year wonder(after 4yrs of bad completion %) and haven't talked to the 4186yrd 36td 8int. 70%completion for two consecutive year, 6'4" high IQ, great reader of defenses, taller version of completion % fanatic Drew Brees with a better arm. No! This QB draft isn't weak, just the front runners. For the intelligent team its a STRONG QB draft. -

We'll see now won't we. Highly likely he starts. I pontificate that he'll be a problem. Red zone area too. -

I'm the biggest Cam homer here and I'd have to reject that. There is a top QB in this draft, he's being ignored so a better team can get him while dumb bottom feeders slurp on Pickett and Willis like the absolute morons they are. Neither are better than my guy this year. They're scrubs in comparison in almost every way compared to... Strong 2022!

No thanks. No stats to back up all the talk. Fhules Gold on "potential" of a 6' guy who isn't Mike Vick or even close. If he was Mike Vick, yes, but he's not, not at all. Teams need to stop buying what these agents are selling dummy teams like the bottom feeding Jets who our owner and coach love to emulate with bad decisions, following the hype. Following the hype brought incompetence in the form of Matt Rhule. -
2023 QBs. What I have been screaming for months now

McAdoo and Wilks alone are going to stabilize this team. With Darnold, Cam, whoever. With professionals now on the staff odds are we don't get #6 again. Jobs and reputations are on the line now and they know it. Be SMART, do your homework. One or more of this class will play, choose one and let's finally rally behind our new QB1 and ride on! Nothing would be more entertaining than that new page and the franchise finally choosing to move forward with some hope. Strong is the safest pick at QB in this weak draft. NFL arm, size,70% comp. for 2yrs in a row. There is no better prospect at QB in this draft. He's tough. He did have a surgery but didn't miss time. His coach said he's already savy at reading defenses and adjusting. The only reason this QB draft looks "weak" is the pundits put all these questionable guys in front of this prototype 6'4" QB who's numbers and efficiency and ARM are atop this class. 70% this season, 70% last season, 63% completion his first year. He came in pretty decent learned and then opened whip ass. Draft your next QB at six. Don't draft B.S. and hype, or ridiculously small hands. Guys have to win or go home now so getting a QB1 in the top ten may not be an option again. I say f' it! Pull the trigger on a QB. Let's finally have some fun. Get STRONG 2022! -

Remember guys were laughing about me and Kyle Trask last year. I said last draft that we should try and get Parsons or Pitts in the first and try to get Kyle Trask if we could move up into late 1st. That would have cost us less than Sam Darnold. NOW Parsons is a Probowler and Trask may START for Tampa(I did my homework on Trask, won't be good for us). The year Marty was trying to leave us a parting gift of the OROY Justin Herbert (*Official Justin Herbert Bandwagon Member* of this site), I thought our QB dreams were about to come true, Marty was in Oregon during the lockdown to see/meet Herbert, it was a lock, but alas... Pick a damn QB. You NEED TO pick a QB. Not Pickles Pickett. STRONG 2022! -

See guys, the pundits and scrub teams like the Jets aren't capable of picking a good QB without a clear frontrunner. Mac Jones made Zach Wilson look worthless and so did Zach Wilson at times. That's just one example of many how bottom feeding teams are fed B.S. intell. by media, reps and agents so they constantly make the wrong pick taking the bait like the Panthers did with the much hyped Jimmy Clausen. Tom Brady was a sixth rounder, Russell Wilson a third rounder. Patrick Mahomes was the tenth pick. New England, Seattle and KC did their homework. The Bears picked Mitch Trubisky that year, hindsight is slapping them in the face. Pickett is a very flawed QB1, even in this "weak" draft at QB. My first red flag is the media hype. Russell Wilson was a fifth year national champion and as a 5yr player was lucky to get drafted in the 3rd AND was a much better player than Pickett. I really don't understand how this guy, and three 6' guys without the stats or completion % are being spoken about more than 6'4", cannon armed specimen with 70%completion for two consecutive years (not a one year blip)with 4186yds 36TDs 8ints this last season? This kid got better than everyone else fast AND maintained a 70% (Brees level)completion percentage THAT should be the hoopla of the QB class. Others have achieved 72% but nobody did it for consecutive seasons. THAT is a special player, a diamond. Heard Denver wants him. Smh. Don't believe the hype! The small handed one year out of five year wonder IS NOT the best of this class. It's.... STRONG 2022! -

Strong IS the hidden gem in this draft! The more I study him and all they guys names you guys are throwing out the more I see, by the numbers, Carson Strong SHOULD be QB1 this year. I hear you guys so I go and look at stats, tape of guys. Carson Strong has the highest COMPLETION % of all the media and fan favorites. They all come up short... Carson's first year 63% completion. Next TWO years 70%. The kid got better than almost everybody fast. He's obsessed with completion % and that ARM! By the numbers, completions included this 6'4" specimen of a dime dropping, laser throwing, cannon arm having, high IQ scholar of the game proclaimed great reader of defenses should be the pick at QB IF the Panthers need a QB, and they do, badly. Talk about brass balls!? What that says to me is you can say f' the hype I'm doing my homework and picking, by the numbers, the important one's and by the measurables and this guy as a junior is at the top of THIS draft class if no B.S. is added to the equation. 70% completion for two consecutive years IS NOT a one year blip. That's close to Drew Brees level. I'll take that. Let them sleep @Ricky Spanish You are correct. Strong SHOULD be the Panthers target at #6 if they're SMART, IF they're analytical.... We'll see. STRONG 2022 ....and the jersey potential.... c'mon -
Malik Willis completion % as a starter 61%, 64%

Jeremiah: Panthers "dead set" on drafting an offensive lineman
rippadonn replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Not running backs. QB, DE, should be atop your list at 6. Those are the the stopping scoring or starts the scoring. At six you've got to look at those two because it's so close to top five. Once you get out of the top five OT, WR, DT are next. They have a chance at an elite playmaker at 6. Unfortunately they squandered picks so you can't go playmaker at 6 and OT in the second which would be ideal. Theyve backed themselves into a corner of their own making. -
Sam Howell completion% 62%, 68%, 61% 65% is where your coach wants you to be.
