I think the Saints and now Browns came in to make sure Tepper bleeds this franchise to it's last drop. Other owners are f'n with the new guy.

The biggest difference is co-fanship. He's already got Clemson alum and extended fandom on lock. Clemson is down the road, so close that students often venture to Charlotte for nights out. Charlotte would literally be "home" for a Clemson alum. For all the die hards claiming they're jumping off the Panthers bandwagon they'll have two to three Clemson fans buying a Watson jersey.

A poster mentioned the Mannings. That goes back to what I said about who has the best agents come draft time. If the Mannings are involved that explains every bit of the hype. That's our Carolina experience with your boy Rhule. He's inept (10-23)and he loves him some Kenny Pickett. Red flag. Since the lawyer not the "victims" started all of this and it's now been proven I'd be ok with getting the best FA option available to making a big draft mistake that will only prove to us more that Rhule is out of his league.

Had he had two or three great years I could see all the hubub but he's never even topped 67%completion in five year career. That inconsistency won't cut it in the NFL and a dumb bottom feeding franchise will fall for the one year wonder.

His completion percentage was above average by 2% for only 1 year, his 5th at 67%. 59%,58%,61%61% his previous years (very mediocre) 1 touchdown year 1, year 2 12tds, year 3 13tds, year 4 13tds, year 5 42tds Dude had 36tds in four years, Carson Strong had 36tds last season more than Pickett's 4yrs. Um no. Not even close. Rhule mindmelded with op. Weak QB at the top of the class when better guys are not spoken of Fhules Gold.

This is starting to feel creepy and desperate. I wish the organization would show some pride and move in another direction publicly.

So the guys analysis in the op and others are garbage and Strong is garbage while out performing most of the pack playing and hurt. He didn't want to let his team down. High character. He risked everything for them and put up better numbers than your guys and beautiful tape. If anybody can adjust to the NFL game and the speed it's a high IQ, strong armed, great reader of defenses like this guy. The guy couldn't plant his back leg and threw a couple wobbles and STILL played better than the top of this QB Class with two 70% seasons in a row but that means nothing, right.

So then, why doesn't everybody run air raid? Completions have everything to do with accuracy and ball placement. Tell me about this system that makes him so great. Does the system read defenses and change plays too? Heck of a system.
