  1. See, limitations. That's why you draft Alex Smith instead of Aaron Rodgers if you're not evaluating the correct things. Had the 49ers done a better evaluation who knows. Green bay got Rodgers, groomed him and the rest is history. Listen, I'm not in the official Carson Strong bandwagon for no reason. He's a statistical outlier in this draft. In a very good metric, completion percentage. His has NEVER been below 63% in his 3yr CAREER. He killed that metric by elevating to 70% for TWO years in a row! No QB(frontrunners) in the draft has achieved that. He put up the best numbers of his career in his junior year 4186yrds 36tds while playing hurt! What can this man do at full strength? He also ran at the combine so the knee surgery is obviously behind him. Statistically over time and on film he's the best QB at QBing in this draft.
  2. No. Joe Burrow had all the hype. Nobody was really hyping Herbert but me and a couple people here and Hurndog. I hit on Herbert, I knew for a fact he would be phenomenal. Burrow I had questions but he's done well.
  3. Hype: Jimmy Clausen, Sam Darnold, Zach Wilson, Kenny Pickett Stats, measurables: Justin Herbert, Mac Jones, Carson Strong Strong 2022
  4. What are you saying? They're often wrong...
  5. Again, he played a whole season against his doctors advice and put up serious numbers. He's one season removed the knee repair and didn't miss football inspite of it. JT loves his NFL arm like I do. He shows you that laser like missile Strong throws. He can really rip it. He also shows the touch on a short out that JT said was great and others here say he can't do. Strong can also throw deep and accurate. Aside from the procedure a year ago Carson Strong is a prototypical pocket passer with a friggin cannon. Strong 2022
  6. The city of Charlotte would bulldoze my house if it meant the Panthers would stay.
  7. Actually having camp here in Charlotte may be an excellent ground roots effort to reconnect directly with the fan base and surrounding. The hotels and food available turns up a notch.
  8. Who? The Zach Wilson lovers here and in the media? They pick guys around a water cooler. I'm looking at data first.
  9. If one was to dig back I was on the *OFFICIAL MICAH PARSONS BANDWAGON*. I wanted Parsons or Pitts in the first and Trask in the second.
  10. Again, you've said nothing. You didn't play those games. You didn't prepare for or win any of those games. Nobody else put up those numbers. When he put up that body off work (not just one year) is irrelevant. What is relevant is he's better than YOUR guy at playing, you know, QB. The guy friggin put up 4186yrds 36tds 70% on ONE LEG. His doctor told him not to play. His dad told him not to play. HE PROVED THEM WRONG. He's a competitor. A prototype QB. Ripp doesn't get on your official bandwagon because you're pretty, you earn it on the field putting in work. Showing up in data and film.
  11. Tepper may just see this big bubble he built and the stadium itself and surrounding like Memorial Stadium and is like f' it we'll camp right here. I would. The further forward we go that facility seems unnecessary. Charlotte would love to host the Panthers camp.
  12. How likely is it the Panthers will pick a pure pocket passer? Not likely. Can they be like the Patriots and not fall for the hype of promised runs instead of promised throws? Not sure. Maybe Fitt will. I'm putting Carson's career stats and completion percentage up against ALL these rookie QBs. So far, he's the champ at QBing. All they've got is "he sucks" lol. Strong 2022
  13. If that's all he needs to work on give him credit for the rest of his body of work. I keep posting the statline because it makes these lazy takes look like what they are. Lazy Strong 2022!
  14. Stop being a hater. He deserves praise for his hard work and WHAT HE'S DONE ON THE FIELD. His stats would suck if he did. Make a better point if you can.
  15. He has a much better arm. He can make those throws on time that Darnold has trouble with. He throws these lasers that seem impossible. His arm confidence is huge. He can really fit the ball in between guys AND his deep throws are very accurate. I like him to an Andrew Luck/Drew Brees so yeah.
  16. Rumored bad attitude is total crap. His coach said he hasn't seen a QB bond with teammates the way he does. How can someone with poor touch put it in running men's hands at 70%? Nonsense. He has excellent touch and accuracy on his deep balls. Lol They say this and that but stats are stats. You didn't put up those numbers, I didn't put up those numbers. Pickett didn't put up those numbers. Analysts debated on if he should be QB1, because he should be. I won't post all the videos you missed. He has a cannon and he's very accurate with it. His consistency is best in class as far as completing passes. QBing you know.
  17. Like Fitts said about them and Russell and what smart teams do. They act like they don't want/like a guy but they've done their homework. Anybody can say whatever but on the football field Carson Strong is a star...
  18. What's cool is by his stats you can see that the more they started to ask of Strong (atts) the more he produced because he kept his completion percentage at 70% despite increased attempts. That's serious fortitude. That's Drew Brees hang up 40-50 dropping dimes level QBing. That's why his NFL upside as a QB, QBing is very high. If he can maintain 70% completion in the NFL you have a star. If he dips to 65% or so, still NFL worthy.
  19. He's being clever. Read between the lines. He definitely didn't want to play with Sam again. He lobbied for Cam to start this year and that's looking more unlikely as the days go by. He feels he may have to eat with cheesey Mac.
  20. His doctor and his dad told him not to play. He played hobbled, healing and put up those numbers playing for Nevada. I've been focused on his last season so I don't know how mobile he really is or isn't. Putting the ball in the hands of running men 70% of the time has nothing to do with anything but being very accurate, very accurate playing QB two years in a row. He's an exciting QB to watch. Zach Wilson?! I said he wouldn't make it. Carson is miles and miles better.
