  1. Very sad days in Panthernation. In hindsight, who doesn't love jeans day?
  2. "with Mayfield in a competition with Sam Darnold and Matt Corral, the Panthers get three good swings at getting the position fixed, with Mayfield helping to provide a higher floor at the position than they had last year." OK, I thought Fitt was the adult in the room. The notion is so stupid it's not even funny. They have absolutely no f'n idea what they're doing. It's obvious. No leadership no direction just "optionality" with two obvious crap options and the hope for the future being put on training wheels in favor of NFL has beens. Lol. Clueless.
  3. Your guy doesn't seem very intelligent at all. He's not the cool hand. Where does your blind allegiance come from? On the payroll? If so get that money! A fool and his money shall very soon part.
  4. Both signs of irrational thought. The most valuable position, does not come cheap and thinking a bargain basement or journeyman will now succeed because he's on your team now is and was foolish and delusional and they keep doing it. The result will be the same. Refusing to travel the cheaper, higher risk, greater reward route of going all in on the draft, QB of the future, drafting a good QB by all means necessary be it moving up or trading has been lost on ultra ego Tepper. The guy in 5yrs has shown a ton of irrationality and obvious flailing. Obviously he had the cheat code for billions. A "cheat" is a cheat and lacks real merit, so when a fake is revealed to be fake, the incompetence is to be expected. I'm calling fake. Somebody with true business acumen like Jerry Richardson with Hardee's then Bojangles and the Panthers makes it look easy in comparison to someone who was handed everything through systematic fractional pocket stuffing.
  5. And you, you should get down on one knee and marry Baker Mayfield. That love is strong
  6. Browns being a bottom organization with bottom players is deeply rooted in history. You're not brown nosing anymore, your head is way up in there. Tepper is a huge loser, Appaloser. I really think the huddle could run that franchise better. At least the huddle really and genuinely loves the franchise and were bought in day one for 25+years before your boy knew what a Carolina Panther was. The franchise would have been much better off in the hands of the local partnership, we knew it then but it's PAINFULLY obvious your flailing amateur of a leader is in over his head. Only a miracle can save our home team now. Maybe he'll pull out, again go back to Appaloserville because the Panthers NEVER stunk this bad, EVER. Laughing stock.
  7. Ok, but nobody wanted Baker who therefore is a hasbeen on his last shot. You're praising somebody for being the tallest midget. Browns suck, always and forever. Their best isn't even mediocre. You guys and this Baker Mayfield hope. Lol. Guess what's going to happen. If you don't know, I've got four years of history to point you in the right direction, spoiler alert: he won't change a damn thing, too short, too slow, too cocky to make a difference. He's a bottom feeder QB. Tepper loves him some losers though.
  8. Mindboggle. I was there almost daily. I don't know how many rolls of quarters I wasted on Streetfighter II
  9. I understand, he's the everyman. Not the tallest, fastest, strongest or immensely skilled. None of the physical traits that usually set elite players apart. He's just got moxy. Other than that by NFL standards that's about it. Just hope Corral gets on the field ASAP. Younger, faster, more hungry, higher potential, higher ceiling. Matt Rhule wants to get fired. He's tried everything now he's trying Baker.
  10. It's a new offense for Corral tooooooo! Line em' up, whoever wins wins.
  11. Debating who isn't the worst of the two tells you all you need to know. Both should be back ups.
  12. Nobody wanted Sam or Baker, so yeah, both are bottom tier.
  13. Of course I'm hoping Corral beats all those end of the line relics. The dashed hopes and dreams of the Brown's and Jet's in one QB room. Do I want those vibes around MC9?! Absolutely not. Feature Sam and Baker in the preseason, trade em for picks or players later... McAdoo and his prized pupil can begin the long road ahead.
  14. McAdoo and Corral, that's what needs to happen before seasons end to finally turn the page on all the damn losing in a lasting way. Not a drop in the bucket guy like Teddy, Sam or Baker. The insanity needs to stop. It's cute that you guys love a good ol' Goodwill sweater. Baker is just OK and he's new to the team, the offense, and the public at large want Corral. Not some Dollar Store Dave sweater everyone else passed over. You can rock that but the new swag is out. His name is Golden Corral. Stop all the posturing welcome him physically and financially. Yeah he dropped but like Aaron Rodgers he was blindsided. That was a huge financial hit for a guy who was QB1 of the SEC 2021. Show some Love put some sugar on my boy's contract and Let's Go!
  15. Time to cut bait. He's not even smart enough to see that focusing on, and making Matt Corral a priority could extent his career. No, to busy brown nosing the Jets and Browns front office buddies. Giving out favors. Do us a favor!
  16. That's all I'm saying. He stood up to Alabama. They played out of their weight class with Matt Corral. He deserves to try and go for OROY. Last year in the SEC said it all, draft foolishness be damned. He put the team on his back. McAdoo is just the guy to make that happen and nurture him on the job. He absolutely loves Corral. But no. OverRhuled!
  17. They didn't have that guy that's why they got him. They didn't have anybody like him when playoff time came around and the half court game became important. Teams with those types of players gave us a very hard time because we could only play small ball. Long term I think Duren will be flashier maybe better scorer but that's a IF in the NBA for guys with his frame much like Kai, will they ever see that "potential", well maybe when they "bulk up". Ryan Hollins is a good example. We drafted him, you saw the potential, he wasn't a bad pick but he needed to bulk up. He had a good career and he did bulk up but it wasn't here, it took time to get to prime Ryan Hollins, probably the same with Kai, although the young man has been looking swole after a full year. Williams is what he is already, already big, already 7'2", already 250lbs, already a good rim defender, already a shot blocker and already a center that looks like not many men will be pushing him around in the post. Now vs later
  18. Cam is just far superior, they knew that, that's why the door remained "open".
  19. I read most of that info from articles posted here. This is nothing new. They highlight bad decisions especially in the fourth quarter. To me that's lack of physical condition and general discipline. He's faded at the end of races for four years. Decision making breaks down in the crunch when you're gassed. He's already short and slow according to their articles posted here on the huddle. It's another QB somebody, a bottom organization, was throwing away. Rhule=Dollar Store Dave
  20. Rhules Boys Home For Wayward NFL QBS. 800S Mint Street , Charlotte Stop the insanity! Recycling has to stop NOW!
  21. If you guys remember the old school New England Patriots were the doormat to the Superbowl for years. The Bears wiped their feet on them on their way to winning the SB back in 85. In that context it's good having at least BEEN to the Superbowl twice already. New England kept knocking till they started kicking doors down. In the name of Sam Mills, I hope we finally get back to KEEP POUNDING, MAN UP again, stop being called SOFT and kick down the damn door! Alas...
  22. The complaint from Cleveland is he chokes in the 4th. Does that have to do with stamina? Head up ass? It's definitely something that prevents him from being elite, clutch. A healthy Cam was a clutch player. He's getting that TD. Clete Blakeman won the war and Von Miller gets dancing with the stars instead of Cam who had one of the best seasons in NFL history, 15-1. The bolded portion contains a lot of apologetics for a guy who had one good season in a organization that isn't even mid-level in the win column historically, usually and a franchise that hasn't been to the Superbowl once. Proud Panther fan here, we've been twice and almost got there three times with NFCW, NfCS championships spattered about. Anything good to a Browns fan base has to be put into context.
