In a hilarious backwards a**, Rhule kind of way, I could see Corral/PJ combo. I could see him sleeping at night having kept PJ in that way.

I had my thoughts pre-draft from film, interviews. This guy that has come to our camp has come with a Smitty/Jake type of lion heart in a package with all the physical tools. Same height as Aaron Rodgers. In this short time in camp the ball just hops out of his hand much like Cam. He's got great zip and accuracy on the cross, his fade is a thing of beauty. These kids coming in, especially Corral benefit from having some of the best trainers and teachers. To him the idea of Matt Corral not being ready is nuts.

He in nooooo way lacks confidence. You can scratch that off the list. He's supremely confident and is putting on a circus display of accuracy. He should play. Those other guys screwed up THEIR shot. Neither should be allowed to deny his shot. That's the way I see it. He's done everything right. He's a bully. He's super aggressive. If that can be harnessed we all of a sudden have a Russell Wilson situation. Why not us? Why NOT Matt. He's working super hard for the job. He's heavier, all cut up, all man. Young Lion indeed. Buckets! IF Baker did it it'd be bonkers. He hasn't. I've seen no video evidence. Why?

Jake was a UDFA. I don't want to hear it. The best man is winning in limited run. I'd like to see him behind the scenes, he must be amazing. Yup. All in.

I think the young lion deserves all the support he can get. Don't care. HE is a Panther. Drafted. That's my guy. I think he CAN start. Like Mac, like Zach. If he's closer to Mac or better, we've won. We can draft a WR next year.

I'd feed Corrals desire to scorch the open landscape of the NFCS. I see he can do it all. I look at film I see a lion heart. I see Aaron Rodgers 3.0. I see the player. What have we seen from Matt Corral in this very short time? Not willing to not be the starter. He told us that. I'm with him especially with the guys at the end of their NFL career ahead of him. He's the Young Lion and he knows it. Super confident super capable, fast, accurate on the run accurate as heck on the fade, masterful even. We've got our QB folks. If YOU can't see it you just may be Matt Rhule.

Wait a minute... He's coming for the bag. I told you he was legit. Now your mad he's a bully. Just like I said. MC9 aka Golden Corral aka Golden Boy aka Young Lion

The Matt Corral bandwagon as I know it is as follows: @Catsfan69, @mrcompletely11, @top dawg , @Ricky Spanish and @rippadonn All aboard!! If I've left you out jump in!

That says a lot. The farther we go the longer we go, the young lion will catch up and devour their dreams much like in NY, CLE. The hopes and dreams of the Jets and Browns will finally be put to rest where they belong. Spoiler alert: It's over.

He's putting his circus show accuracy on display. Let's not forget he's a high completion percentage QB from the SEC.

The NFL is watching, giving him fire emoji. Screen time. We really may have a star. I know I've sinned again went hard on another bandwagon to "annoy" huddlers, but it's like Bruce Lee said: "It's like a finger pointing to the moon (smack), don't look at the finger or you'll miss all that heavenly glory!" Listen to the conversation in the background. They want #9.

Saturday Panthers Back Together Practice - Who’s Going?
rippadonn replied to falconlynx's topic in Carolina Panthers
He's coming for the bag. It's already hard not to put him on the field. Eyes are starting to turn his way. The REAL QB competition is between Sam/Baker vs the young lion. They will have to face him and as of now he looks fierce. I'd be very very concerned if I were them. -
Live young arm.

Saying Matt Corral is probably a better option at QB going forward is not overvaluing. We're better off the faster Corral starts, you know it, I know it, he knows it. By any means necessary. Baker better watch his back.
-
You are making great points. Don't get frustrated. Some people are so in love with the Baker Mayfield persona they'll have to see him fail for themselves to finally get it. They banned me because I was against the Teddy Bridgewater move, I was correct, it couldn't/wouldn't work out. Sam, same thing. People that have been paying attention to the Baker Mayfield story saw the team they painstakingly put around him and they soon determined he was the weak link. Nothing wrong with that, just don't overvalue the guy as if he's some super starter, and it'll be what it is. The unrealistic expectations that Baker is a savior is much more rampant around here than it should be. We haven't seen good football around here for so long they just don't know what a good QB is.

Look what he's shown day one, day two. First out on the field. He's carried himself like a true leader. His interviews show great maturity and self accountability. He's a really really impressive kid. If they gave him anything I think it would be well deserved. His release is something the others just don't have. I'm gushing, I've studied him playing but the person, his dead serious, I'm coming to take the crown attitude and his maturity and self awareness at his young age, we're in potentially great hands. Not ashamed to be on the Corral bandwagon, not one bit. He can use the fans support. I do see the media starting to pivot to Corral though. It's easy to see and understand why.

Hate much? I must be IN there.

This kid is so confident and obviously capable. The ball hops off his hand in such a way. He's special. His mentality coming in, self accountability already. He believes it's only him in the race and he's his opponent. Not weakness like, muh, muh shirt, muh, muh pants. Hot! I know he's already the best QB there. Those clips of how much faster the ball comes off HIS hand, expected. This is our best option. The reps need to be his. He's determined to start. They talk about sitting, and he's visibly disturbed by the notion. You can see it. That's that fire you need on Sunday. The lion will that allows him to put a team on his back. Fire and desire. That isn't there in the fat rich spoiled and coddled backups being paraded before us. Corral doesn't have the support he should anyways. Not from the media, fans. I'll be that guy. If we had Brett Favre on this team and we were in playoff contention, yeah, sit him, makes sense. Playing coy like he isn't that guy you had at QB1 after all your researching?! Fhulishness. We need to know beyond all doubt if Matt Corral is that guy, can he play in prime time or not. If he can't we pick QB this next draft which is deep. If he's better than Justin Fields?! Home run! We've got our guy. We're competing in the NFCS. Why delay? Because we'll hurt poor Matty's development? He wants it bad. He's trying to develop the right way, starting. Rhule doesn't have a good track record at anything so doing the opposite of what he's doing would probably be playoff worthy. Surprising the NFL with a guy they haven't studied and passed notes on is a uppercut. That's how you sneak one in. But not Rhule, no, old jockstrap will do.

Muh, muh, sleeves. Muh, muh, pants. Too hot!

I'm saying there was football before OleMiss AND after. Nothing has stopped him to this point. Why wouldn't he then be able to learn THIS playbook? You paint quite the picture with the "if you think", I didn't say they were similar, YOU did.
