Matt Corral has the arm the accuracy, escapability (already escaped two sacks or more), he's got quick feet. He showed tonight just what I was talking about, he ran one way and threw it across his body to hit #84 with a dime which he fumbled. There were at least three or more drops. The line gave him more time but the receivers got no separation and had no idea how to help a scrambling QB, they just watched. If Matt Corral has been running with the twos he'd be ready. I can't blame him. It was Rhule. He never intended for Corral to "compete".
-
No reps. I'm not blaming him for him not having NFL speed reps. He's had very few. He's done well despite not getting many reps with the ones or twos. Matt Corral in a boot was Matt Rhules dream scenario. Now he can keep PJ.
-
Corral throws a very nice ball folks. He mostly puts it in guys hands.
-
Corral with those lasers. He's got zip!
-
My thing is if the Patriots starters are playing, we should be playing. After that the 2nd string with Corral could come in since we've seen PJ already. Let's get a real extended look. Rhule...smh. I think not to play the Patriots with our starters is cowardly, they have just as much to lose if not more. Soft.

At least two of these QBs shouldn't be here in the first place. That's on Rhule.
-
This is too little too late. The whole "QB Competition" was a hoax.
-
Oh, he's stupid. Doesn't deserve any more time. Not one more minute. He couldn't do more to punch a ticket back to college football. Tepper isn't man enough to do it. McAdoo is here. Snow is still under contract. We'd be good to go.
-
To continue to watch this man mishandle everything every season and expect a different result is a practice in insanity. Spoiler alert: Close to the same record as last year. No reason not to play a capable rookie QB with the pedigree (projected 1st rounder and the support that comes with it) of Matt Corral.

True, but the elephant in the room is #9. Everybody knows the kid has to get his shot. Matt Rhule's treatment of Matt Corral a guy they moved up to get, a guy McAdoo had as QB1 that somehow luck had them stumble into? Now you treat this Panther, not a third round projected QB arguaby the best QB in the SEC 2021 and 2022 as if he was never anything, fourth on the depth chart resorting to mental reps instead of real reps, air biscuits instead of BoBerry. For this alone and all past offensive the Panthers should have parted with this coach yesterday.

The one pass Corral got off was sharp. The line proceeded to break down from there. The pocket was disrupted within seconds. It wasn't so much a dear in headlights it was a dude unblocked ripping your helmet off. Over and over. Matt Corral can play. That's obvious. Put him with other guys who can play. Matt Rhule is trying to sabotage this man's rookie year in favor of another hand me down. As I've said here, at the end of the college football season Corral was projected a mid to late first rounder. To NOW deny the talent that got him there is Fhulish.

I think not having as good a offense will really highlight his shortcomings.
-
I don't think Baker will look the same here. He had a better offense in my opinion.

WTF?!? What is the point of that?! Fire this dude Tepper! Enough!
-
Trying to crush the rookie's spirit. What is Matt Rhule actually "teaching" Matt Corral? You ain't sh*t with your fancy skill set and circus accuracy. This is the absolute worst situation a rookie could be in. Tepper needs to man up and fire this guy now. Let McAdoo and Snow figure it out. This is worse than Seifert and is showing no signs of improvement. This coach is making mistake after mistake after mistake. Tepper is soft. Jerry would have put this joker out on his ass already. Today, not challenging your starters, disgraceful. That's not football.

Matt Rhule is anti-lion. He's a sheep herder.
-
Why doesn't Matt Rhule prefer a QB that he's drafted over anyone else? Most coaches do. Backwards. I would love to challenge my first team with a opportunity like this. Rhule needs to go. He lacks balls, heart and any semblance of creativity.
-
Matt Corral. I feel for you bro. They didn't even let you get a shot. Smh. Hope you get a new coach that likes you more than used streaked underwear.
-
Rhule is a coward. Stop coddling Baker. Play him. Let's see if your offense can match second year Mac.
-
See, Matt Rhule is coddling his starters, his offense. Belichick is getting his guys ready for a long season. Matt Rhule tried to hide Sam in the preseason. He coddled Baker through the "process" this time. Is hiding a great strategy? I'm gonna play my second team so I don't take a L to Belichick and get embarrassed.

Story on the Joe Brady situation from Charles Robinson..
rippadonn replied to WOW!!'s topic in Carolina Panthers
“I think he [Brady] was overwhelmed and I think what happened was Matt Rhule ended up micromanaging a lot of other situations on offense,” he said. “Like, a ton. And it was really, really, not good.” Jerry would have fired this guy. In actuality Richardson refused to hire a college coach so he wouldn't have been hired. An exercise in wisdom. May we all take note. Jim Harbaugh has a .695 NFL win percentage, I'm obviously not talking about him. -
2nd and 3rd string expected most tmrw night

Matt Rhule coddling Baker like he coddled Sam. Remember, no preseason games for Sam? Spoiler: Same results -
Ron's on the hot seat too.
