  1. I think it's the collective feeling people have in a sinking ship BEFORE it sinks.
  2. I don't think he's a NFL HC, BUT with the NFL experience he gained he'd be a great coach for Michigan. It would actually be a good swap. Harbaugh for Rhule. Harbaugh belongs back in the NFL. He may be a discipline freak but he's also a former long time NFL QB.
  3. For all that $$$$$$$ he provides little value if you then have to get rid of guys and hire shadow HCs. Should have gave Jim Harbaugh(.695 NFL win percentage) that $$$$, more even, now having learned not to hire college coaches without NFL HC experience.
  4. His record and current trajectory are silly. Have you been watching this man the last 2+ seasons?! From disaster to what? Mediocre? We'd oddly and slummingly will accept mediocre right now because it's good o'l Matt Rhule?! C'mon man! Just a estimate but I would not be surprised if 80% of teams would have escorted this dude and his belongings out already. He's rich. He'll be fine.
  5. Ya'll have your fun all the way up to the Baker, Baker, Baker Bowl ya hear!? Matt Corral wasn't Kenny Pickett therefore of no immediate value. I'm going to watch the defense this year. Bathroom breaks and snack breaks in offense. When a team REFUSES to develop a rookie QB (on the field) it makes everything less exciting. Yay! Teddy/Sam/Baker, Baker, Baker
  6. That sentiment was passed on after the draft he NEVER planned to play or prepare Corral. NFL coach who can't develop a rookie QB for himself?! What's worse is he collects QBs from the NFL scrapheap and you're happy about it? Stockholm syndrome. Stop drinking the kool-aid.
  7. Now we see what a coach like Belichick, McVay, Harbaugh is worth. It's almost like you should start with the best coach and build from there. We went and got a amateur football coach with a couple years of NFL experience, everybody else said...nah, we cool, didn't he make a phone call before signing as coach? The fact that the Jets and Giants said no thanks told you all you need to know, he wasn't ready. He brought his college playbook to the NFL.
  8. I would too but he continues to do stupid stuff. How does that change? How does that help our chances? He's going to f' something more up. It's coming. I've already said on this here site that even I can feel Teppers trigger finger getting itchy. I don't think Tepper wouldn't fire him mid season. I think that's more likely than a end of the season swan song. Cam didn't get that. I think his a** is grass and he doesn't even know it yet. Hopefully Tepp flies the jet up to Michigan ASAP.
  9. Ok, why the heck did they even draft him in the first place if they were going to put him at the end of the bench? Where was the "in training"? There wasn't. We could have drafted a QB in the 4-5th to put on the bench and develop. To even be where Matt Corral is today he had to be a good/great QB to be even whispered at being a first rounder or a stone cold lock. He got everything that came with that until the draft. When you're a first round prospect people are coming out of the woodwork to help you. Pedigree. Dude has been groomed to be that guy and he was damn good at it last two seasons. Stuff got blown up out of proportion before the draft. One comment was hanging with bad company when it was a teammate who went to jail he was corresponding with, he didn't turn his back on the guy because he was a future first rounder. This kid was hit jobbed and it continued with Rhule all to put the one year wonder Pickett on a pedestal instead of Simba. I hope young lion takes back his birthright.
  10. If I remember PJ was getting twisted up. So yeah, third string line does have serious issues. You didn't see Baker or Sam playing with future car salesman.
  11. Matt Corral wasn't Kenny Pickett so he didn't matter to him. He'd have to do a lot of splaining to make me believe otherwise and even if he did... Wouldn't believe him. Too much history, especially Cam, that comes to mind in this situation. The dishonesty.
  12. And IF that mattered why didn't Corral not matter all of a sudden. Too much spunk, too accurate in camp, wasn't throwing NFL level precision laser. I don't like college football. I scout them before the NFL. So your telling me this guy who was, allegedly, QB1 on the Panthers draft board, allegedly the best QB in the SEC the 2021 season with a damn good 2022 isn't ready to play for the four year in a row losing Panthers? Only a Menagerie!? Has been. Ticket, tv, box office gimmick the NFL will pump up then immediately not care less about? Yeah.
  13. Ok, just for you, the Panthers had him as QB1, allegedly. Does that matter?
  14. Cam was different than Jake and Rhule isn't Sean McVay, not in the least just in advance.
  15. I think we can ALL agree that we didn't get to see enough reps from Matt Corral to make ANY determination other than the ones you pointed out. My problem is this, if Matt Corral was a projected third rounder I see how someone could say poo him, he needs time, etc, BUT in reality a lot of teams had him as QB1 of this draft including McAdoo and the Panthers. Why wasn't THAT guy second team based on those FACTS? Why wasn't he protected? Why didn't HE get more than a couple full speed reps while others got the lions share? Head coach needs to be fired immediately, especially because you didn't value, and mismanaged my rookie QB who we've invested in, while these other guys in reality DO NOT have a contract for 2023. The HC is totally backwards his arenda, which nobody understands can't succeed no matter who else's failed QB you plug in next. Success is home grown. Look at Cam.
  16. He lied to us about "wanting" to coach Cam Newton. Why should I believe anything else but his ACTIONS in regard to the Young Lion (who is a fighter).
  17. The most winningest QB was home grown, New England drafted him. Aaron Rodgers, Packers draft pick.RussellWilson(Seahawks Russ) 3rd round homegrown. You guys are viewing Corral through the lense of Matt Rhule who wasn't going to give him reps if he looked like Cam out there. Agenda. No "plan". Just dirty used underwear
  18. Before the draft we all knew Rhule had his crush on Pickett. Probably wanted him. Others said this guy is better, look, he played better than Pickett in HIS last two seasons. Petty Matt(remember how he miss-handled the Cam situation) wanted to prove himself right. Gave the kid the least to eat in favor of his Menagerie. Past behaviors make be believe this scenario is entirely possible. The Operation Golden Corral thing , yes it was a joke...halfway, it was a desperate plea to Rhule to f'n develop a QB and stop waisting our time on leftovers. He refuses.
  19. I can read. It was a mistake to draft Matt Corral to give him no reps and sit him behind 3QBs who couldn't make another NFL roster. Yes, the right coach would have had him ready. We said before camp that Rhule was going to mothball this kid regardless. Guess what? He did! What you fail to understand is Corral was camp fodder to Rhule and his master dufus plan. HE WASN'T GOING TO WIN THE JOB NO MATTER HOW MUCH HE FLASHED. Rhule made that clear before camp. My problem is IF someone as high value as Matt Corral can be ignored and not allowed to compete or get full speed reps to get ready to play full speed, enemy fire football with decent lineman and you jackals hoot and holler over his assumed demise, you are some cold hearted folk. He's the only Panthers QB on the roster and the only one signed for 2023. You gonna have to show love one day.
  20. Lol. Thank God we live in America. Am I right?
  21. I think 7 wins but my heart says 5.
  22. Win or go home. Oh wait.... he's still here
