  1. We don't have the squad to make up for those type of performances. He'd have to be Kirk Cousins a steady game manager with an occasional wow. A inconsistent game manager with a couple wows a game is like one foot forward, two steps back.
  2. Will he outcoach ANY coach in the NFL this season? If I were a NFL coach there is noooo way I let Matt Rhule beat me.
  3. We can't talk smack. Our coach is named Welcome Matt. Wipe your feet, come on in, take anything you want!
  4. Yup. That bad. Jake deserves the credit though he's this franchises benchmark for Superbowl capable QBs. Jake, Cam then maybe Beurlien.
  5. You forgot: Also: Give Matt Rhule the poops from 1pm-3:30pm Just to be sure He'll be OK. Nothing personal.
  6. Agreed. It's just hard as a fan to stomach another journeyman QB after another, after another. Regardless of how Baker turned out as a disappointment for Cleveland, the excitement that came with rooting for your own QB that you drafted isn't easily replaced by a factory flawed vet.
  7. Looks pretty accurate. Sundays performance is a nutshell of what we read from Cleveland media after the trade. They said he would wow you at moments but was inconsistent in the crunch. Yup. Also the media didn't make the decision to draft Baker that high. The Browns did.
  8. Uh oh. OG Philly B gave him some homework. We'll deserved props though. I wish some of us had more time. Zod may want to turn "On Notice" to "The Welcome Matt" so we can get more content from the old one himself.
  9. Most of us think he should have been grown in 4years with the Browns. Still lacks discipline. He'll never be Brees because of that. He'd have a lot of catching up to do in that respect. I'd much rather watch our rookie QB make mistakes he may actually learn from them. Obviously the thick skull on Baker prevents that. I personally don't have the patience for wayward veteran QBs.
  10. Who Appaloser? I don't care about humility from him. I care about making the Panthers good again after 4yrs of destruction of our mediocre legacy. For all the guys who sooo much wanted a "rebuild", here is the result when done improperly and by unqualified individuals.
  11. .695 NFL win percentage makes Jim Harbaugh the obvious choice. Check the history books, that's among the best ever. That's a bonafide NFL coach THATS who to pay for, that's a proven commodity.
  12. We've heard Luke was thinking about it. I'd give Luke a longer leash than Rhule, much more NFL experience and a complete football addict. Fans would love him. If HE did well we'd have a long bright future and our lady fans would fill the seats again. I think his pride and love for this team would drive him to try and be the best. He'd need help not to burn himself out, because we all know Luke, right!? After that, how can you as a player not respect/listen to Luke?! He's the dark horse candidate and I'm on that bandwagon. To see Luke succeed at HC for the Panthers?! That's dynasty.
  13. Luke, Pep is still around. Dan Morgan is back. C'mon. Other guys would love to come help if asked. Moose?! WR coach? That's the "Steelers" way
  14. It's risky but I'd give Luke the rest of Rhules four years if he wanted to give it a try. His former coach was a NFL linebacker himself.
  15. For Byron or any new HC as we already know, staffing NFL people and having those relationships and that NFL roladex of ex colleagues is invaluable. I'd have to see what kind of staff he could put together. Why not a former Panther. Grow our own.
  16. He clearly doesn't want this job. He's not taking this seriously and it's embarrassing for a man in his position and he doesn't know it. That aw shucks we did great one quarter is as low of expectations as I've EVER seen of a Panthers team. This is a nightmare of a joke for every Panther fan every morning eagerly waiting for the Charlotte Observer headline "Rhule Fired", nothing personal, he's rich, he'll be fine. It's Tepper Time...
  17. Brees had very good lateral movement so he could shift in to lanes/evade and fire.
  18. Brees had a career 65+% accuracy and many 70% completion games. That man was obsessed. The Cleveland press said Baker had his head up his ass for years. THEY said in conclusion he was too short, too slow, too cocky. He may be more humble but what they already know ain't something the QB guru Matt Rhule can fix that's for sure.
