Give me some hope. Can this offense be turned around?
rippadonn replied to Khaki Lackey's topic in Carolina Panthers
Listen we're debating which milk is more rotten. I'd blame the manager. -
Rooting for McCall, sat next to his brother, good guy.

Is Baker making me miss Sam? YES! -

I'm just being real here. Sam is a better QB. All in all if Sam can cut down the mistakes, trust the pocket he's probably the best option going forward if and when he's available. I was at fanfest and got a very good view and Sam was actually moving the ball down the field more consistently than anyone else that was allowed to scrimmage (Baker). Mayfield looked pretty much the same as now, couldn't really connect and horizontal runs to the sideline after bailing. Sam's the better QB. Will Rhule put Sam back in? The historical precedent has been set. Will he sit Baker for Sam this time OR run a two QB system in the NFL AGAIN, his college coach wet dream. Very interested to see how that plays out because Baker looks like Matt Corral as a rookie should look, but he'll learn Still inexcusable for a four year veteran, you should come prepared to play in the first quarter not finally wake up in the second or third quarter of an NFL game. Damn it get there early! -
Pretty cool. That's your squad folks.

The coach I prefer took a one read QB to the Superbowl. Imagine if he had a patient, accurate QB.

The fact that this thread was posted shows the maturity of this fanbase. You understand a "win" isn't necessarily a win. We've arrived. Carry on. -

You can't fix what's between the ears. Year 5, still struggling. -
The Previous Game is Under Review- Any Specific Requests?

He lacks subtle pocket movements to buy time like a Brady or even Carson Strong who is very good at moving around in the pocket looking down field. -

Baker is not seeing the field, has absolutely no pocket presence, he bails before his third read and runs sideways towards the sidelines every friggin time, he's playing scared. When guys are wide open he's missing them. When the scheme requires the ball getting out fast he's processing too slow to make those quick hitters consistently. Dude forced a ball into triple coverage and was lucky we were playing NO because that one as well as others should have been picked. -

Already worried because my prediction is coming true. Of course I'll never cosign Rhules idiotic ideas anyways but yeah, a lot of us saw this coming. Also keep in mind that nobody but the Panthers were knocking on Clevelands door. Seattle bailed on that notion. Red flag #1. -

Ian Thomas had a couple if I remember correctly but Baker was off, very off at times. Not what you sign up for with a 4yr veteran. Truthfully I'd have more patience with a rookie than a boneheaded vet. -
Add Matt Corral

Stop it! Just stop it! You're making too much sense. I can't take it!

Do you know a guy named Sizzlebuzz? You would get along so well. Picnics in the park. A huge pitcher of RhuleAid that you both enjoy. You should give him a call.
-
Steve Smith was right and shouldn't have retracted his statements he previously made about Baker. Correct is correct. You were right #89! Tell Tepper to clean that wax out of his ears.
-
There will need to be some serious evaluation of the roster after Rhule is inevitably let go. I'd be surprised if the next coach could salvage even half this roster.
-
I don't see how Baker or Sam wouldn't have been hurt behind Rhules third stringers. PJ got twisted up pretty badly behind those guys too. It's a wonder he wasn't injured. This is what happens when you have a coach that doesn't know what NFL talent looks like, you get a bunch of guys who are getting pushed around not just on third team but first team too.

Just a friendly reminder about today's victory...

Facts yo! -
Not because he didn't try.

Let's not even start with his ridiculous QB Menagerie.

That doesn't change how this team was built in the first place. The players may feel sorry for this coach but even a novice can see he's way in over his head. I'm sure you've observed that also. He sabotaged the team even before the first snap. We saw it coming since last season, since training camp, he doesn't know how to prepare players for NFL games and when all things are equal he fails us with first/second year coaching mistakes, time management, etc etc etc.

Rational folks expected Baker to continue to regress. He is. Hot garbage.
