Corral would outshine BY in camp because he's a true NFL dual threat. He runs with his blockers, he's not a scrambler, he has McCaffrey style running ability and awareness. He couldn't be here if BY was the pick, but AGAIN that would be coddling.

What's best for the team is what I said above, totally sidestepping everybody's Bryce Young bluff. He's dropping. It's all hype. His stats don't even measure up to Tua or Corral and in comparison Corral is a prolific ground threat while Young will need constant and vigilant protection.

Before you take Young, take AR. Make a deal for Stroud with Houston and be done with this foolishness.

How come Bryce doesn't have better stats than Tua, or Corral and we're supposed to accept a smaller player who can't rush like Corral, or AR, or Levis? Yes the media would love a bottom feeder like the Jets to make a foolish move like Zach Wilson so they can laugh later.

Tua was a better player than Bryce coming out of Alabama and he's much smaller and thinner, Corral IF (dummy's)Young is the pick IS one play away every game. In that situation with the smallest, thinnest QB in the league he better damn sure be ready. Corral is a better player than Bryce anyways statistically and physically for NFL football. Hype train victim again? As is here as is the tinderbox. Tua was a better player out of Alabama than Bryce and he's had a tough time physically. Don't believe the hype. Stats and the truth don't lie like the fake news.

Him and DJ will be epic. Da Bears haven't had a receiver of his caliber since Willie Gault. If they continue to add receivers and TEs worth a damn Fields will rise again. I'm a legacy Bears fan and although I was mad when the Panthers passed on Fields, I was happy the Bears finally got a QB that might be worth a damn. I was lucky when I moved to Charlotte and the Panthers, my baby, was born before my eyes and came out kicking ass.

I'd prefer a spicy draft after all this debating the best ordinary. Stroud is the most likely most safe, least risk player at QB. Y'all made me wanna go all out AR-15 with this leprechaun talk. He doesn't measure up well to Matt Corral, compare stats, percentages, rushing yards, or lack of rushing yards in Young's case. You guys suck at picks. Jimmy is a Zach Wilson guy too I believe. I'm just comparing and contrasting and it's eye opening. Bryce doesn't have anything over Corral. We need a player that can at least push Corral. If Bryce comes in, those stats plus Corral having a year in the NFL, in a fair competition may very well lead to a thrashing and trade show on the part of Matt Corral. Not good. Young isn't a dual threat like Corral. At least Richardson and Levis are.

Read the damn numbers then. I gave them to you. If it takes you 40 shots in basketball to get 15pts and the player your guarding puts up 25 how good are you. That same coach would have done better with Matt Corral getting him 1+ yd per pass play PLUS 4yrds per carry. Numbers and logic destroy the Youngster Fhules gold. Not a #1 pick. Sorry.

Look at the difference in rushing yards between Matt Corral and Bryce Young... Bryce ain't so special on that stat sheet in comparison. Corral was at Ole Miss, not Alabama. He may be a good NFL QB but not worth a #1. He's not even better than Matt Corral.

You want to overlook raw percentage in favor of attempts. Statistically given the same attempts Corral would have better numbers. Corral is getting 1+ yards more per play. If Corral is GARBAGE Youngster is porridge in the pot 9 days old. You guys can't use inflated attempts to hype a sub par NFL product.
