Coaches want you at 65% or better. He's below that. The competition gets better in the NFL not worse. I'll take a college guy with 70% and if that drops a little in the NFL he's still a good QB. Willis if his drops from around 64% to something below that.....not good.

High IQ guy who is actually calling plays at the line himself. Great student of the game, so much so his coaches gave him full autonomy, meaning they trust the kid with their job. Very very accurate deep ball probably the most accurate deep ball in the class certainly more accurate and just as strong as Willis. He's a big enough body to where I've seen him shed defenders. Very good subtle pocket movement to extend plays. Can push the ball down the field with his elite arm. They say this and that but you can't put together the last two seasons he had without getting the ball out and being that accurate. Pundits slobbering over potential is nothing new. Steelers are meeting with Carson today so if the media and the Panthers want to ignore the best combination of armstrength and accuracy in this draft the Steelers, Broncos, and Colts will gladly avail themselves while the Panthers hope on potential and hope Pick It and Willis attain NFL accuracy all of a sudden.

True, but Teddy isn't a deep ball specialist. Besides Teddy is only at 66%, that is barely a starter as far as completion percentage.

Mike Greenberg knows the deal! Panthers not bringing him in is a big mistake. Greenberg thinks he's the most pro ready guy in this draft. Well, well, well.

Both would need to improve their completion percentages in a much harder NFL. Neither guy is above or at 65% career completion percentage. I don't see how you can be spoken of as top prospects without a 65% completion percentage. It's absolutely nuts. What, they're going to improve drastically against better competition? It's not likely. Pick a QB good at QBing in the first place instead of hoping and wishing on a project as far as NFL accuracy is concerned.

They were wrong about Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady and Russell Wilson. They put everybody ahead of them the same way their doing Strong. They put Zach Wilson ahead of Fields and Mac Jones. Does any of that prove that the pundits or scouts are better at this than the common fan? Nope. They're not.

I'm hoping for the trade back. Newton listed Strong as one of the visiting QBs, obviously for a trade back scenario. Strong just signed with RockNation sports management so his profile is growing. Wow, wow, wow! That arm! If you want him don't think you're always going to be able to get something for nothing. He's a first round talent in a weak QB draft. Somebody else knows that. 6 minutes of your time to show you what you've got at his best. Wow!

Accuracy is most important going forward for Malik. Not running. At 6'0" 219 running should not be his bread and butter. Linebackers are just as fast if not faster and carry more weight and will light him up in the open field. We saw what happened to Darnold trying to run in the NFL, CMC. Running backs need that extra weight and extra gear to do what they do. You can't be sure if his running at Liberty is sustainable in the NFL. You can't realistically draft him to be a runner. Mike Vick was that size but he was a 4.2 guy.

Kyle Trask went high second round, Carson to me is a better QB because of his gunslinger mentality and his ability to actually make those scary throws. Carson's arm is slightly better. Trask is a bigger body though. I just can't see Carson dropping much further than the second with a high possibility(rumors) of Denver drafting him late first. We have our Alex Smith's in this draft and our Aaron Rodgers in this draft. Hope the Panthers have the testicles to say no to the hype and trust the data. Strong 2022!

Willis isn't as accurate. Howell isn't as accurate. The combination of above average armstrength and most importantly above average accuracy puts him closer to elite in my eyes. It's not easy to put up the numbers he has as consistently as he has, again nobody among the frontrunners has put up 70% completion percentage 2years in a row. That's elite production wether he gets credit for that from the pundits or not. Willis has unrealized potential that may never be realized much like Cam. Being a pocket passer before anything else bodes well transitioning to the NFL. Supposedly Fields and Wilson had all this potential but ultimately were totally outclassed by cheesey Mac. When these dual threat QBS get to the NFL they're often in need of a rebuild necessarily or unnecessarily. Pocket passers are plug and play for the most part, like Mac. Strong definitely has Favre's mentality though and the arm to back it up. We have to value guys playing the position as intended. Those guys win Superbowls.

That's the Brett Favre part of his game. It's scary at first until you realize he really can make those type of throws. He has that Favre type armstrength and he chose the correct QBs to model his game after, Manning and Favre.

You either see "it" or you don't. He's the best QB statistically. I can punch holes in anybody's game. His strengths translate well. The guy can drop dimes into the hands of running men like no other in this draft 70% of the time. Average 348yrds per game. He is going to light it up. He said he doesn't care if he's drafted in the first round or seventh round, he just wants to prove himself in the NFL. No entitlement detected

I'll add that he's played a full season since the knee and ran at the combine. Comes across as a hard worker that doesn't take anything for granted. Phill Simms loves his game too. To me, if you need a QB, get the guy. None of anything with Strong could be as bad as Sam Darnold. Strong said he grew up loving Payton Manning and Brett Favre. That's funny because I said on this site I could see Brett Favre in his game. Gunslinger.

He ran pretty fast at the combine, 16.1 mph. I think we can put that behind us. He played a full season of full contact football since and had his best year.
