  1. Yeah, I'm on the Carson Strong/ Cole Kelley for QB this season. Sam,PJ, and Cam have had all their share of opportunities. The average NFL career is what, 4years so yeah.
  2. Is this the best line Cam has never seen in Carolina. I'd say so. Icky is rookie Jordan Gross and Cam hasn't quite been Cam since Jordan got booted and then Kalil.
  3. Still better and more fun than watching Sam. A much much better leader than Sam, a QB first and foremost should be a leader. He's still fast, still strong, still running over grown physical freak NFL CBs and LBs evidenced last season. Still has 80%-90% of that arm. Run it back. Sam sucks bad. Real bad. Cam is a superstar even at 80-90%.
  4. There is a silent majority that agrees wholeheartedly. They have to let Cam be Cam no handcuffing and I think you'd possibly see the best Cam yet.
  5. He's very lucky to still be in the NFL. So obviously not a starter.
  6. Third or fourth is OK. Taking a chance on physical upside is what the NFL is all about. We finally got a LT so we can take a chance on a good QB. Kelley makes Cam look small and he's a dual threat. No shame.
  7. Always welcome on mad respect alone. Still a beast, our only #1 pick ever is receiving the respect he deserves. IF they are letting Cam ride into the sunset it's the classiest gesture this team has made to correct their f'd up reputation. You respect your greats. If he wants to play he plays. He's still a load and he's Robby Anderson approved.
  8. Pickett=Pickles Although the establishment crowned young Jimmy the difference between the NFL and college is huge. No physical gifts, not that accurate. Not for long.
  9. Imagine NFL CBs having to tackle 6'7" 260?! They'd lose their jobs.
  10. My gosh. Look at this guy run with power. He's Cam like pushing for more yards. This is my DRAFT DAY DARK HORSE of this draft. Carson Strong is obvious as my QB1. Cole Kelley is THE sleeper. If you LOVE Cam. THIS is as close as you'll get AND he's bigger!
  11. Tepper would obviously need a translator. Is there an app for Cajun? Cole Kelley should be fluent.
  12. We could have Jake talk that Cajun to him, tell him what he needs to do.
  13. Personally I think Carson Strong is the real QB1 in this draft therefore worth a #6 because most pundits agree, if not for the "knee" (which he put up big #'s on), Carson is a first round talent, but if we get a all pro DE or a good/great LT at 6 and somehow are able to walk away with 6'7" 260lb Cole Kelley I'm a happy boy. Kelley is accurate and has elite physical gifts. He's a willing runner too. That's what you take a chance on.
  14. What makes Sam Howell better than Sam Darnold? Just asking for a friend.
  15. Oh yes the fifth year wonder. Shouldn't points be deducted for needing 5 seasons to be in draft discussions much less QB1-2. This is absolute madness.
  16. He played last year and ran at the combine. Everybody is saying he's a first rounder, but the knee. If he can suit up like he did last year and play like he did last year he'd be miles ahead of Sam in short order. Carson is already reading defenses and calling plays at the LOS. Sam would be his backup almost immediately because unlike some of the top QBs crowned by the establishment, who don't care about stats, Carson Strong can come in pick up your playbook and play immediately.
  17. Pickett in my opinion is a huge mistake. The establishment has crowned him when statistically there are much better QBs in this draft. Strong and Kelley to name two, both for different reasons.
  18. Last QB from Louisiana got us to the Superbowl. I'd take a serious look.
  19. Speaking of Josh Allen, Cole Kelley is Allen like. Big body, knows how to use it, big arm. Much better stats than Pickett in his own five year career. Goal line threat. Short yardage threat. Massive body. I'd be soooooo happy if even Cole Kelley was the next Panthers QB. At least his upside has a huge physical upside.
  20. Yeah this dual threat stuff is out of hand. We had the best dual threat QB since Michael Vick and they never could figure out how to use him, only train him to stay in the pocket and throw. Difference between someone like Grier/Pickett/Willis and Carson Strong is that Carson is a pure pocket passer, a Payton Manning type. Carson concentrates on playing the QB position at a highly efficient level, he wants to stay in the pocket, so he's focused on reading and getting the ball out to receivers. They overvalue "athletes" at the QB position when most of these guys like Pickett/Darnold would get flattened in the open field by superior athletes. If you are not a superior athlete the NFL isn't the place you want to be scampering around. Sam learned that last season. That part of his game is no more, now he's just an inaccurate pocket passer.
