  1. I can't agree with that. Cam came back and outclassed Sam by miles AND showed us just how good of a leader of men he is. Learn THAT. Sam's a cool guy. I get it.
  2. I had two QBs in this draft as day one ready, Corral was one. I'm oddly excited about this. Putting him on the bench would be a kill joy. He and Strong can play now imo.
  3. If Corral is the future let Sam go. It doesn't benefit either guy. The option was a mistake and no way Sam should be the one Matt should be looking at as an NFL professional. Clean the QB room and start fresh.
  4. "Develope" sounds too much like "building" which is a BS excuse for not doing your job and being competitive MOST years instead the half decade of Appalosing. It's the NFL you build a team to win every off-season. If you're developing players to send off because you don't want to pay them, that's backwards too. It's professional football you play to win the game.
  5. Ron Rivera got Cajun Cam, Cole Kelley. He should know how to coach him up.
  6. Oh let's watch Sam Darnold another year. Last thing we need is to coddle the man IF he's the future. Last I remembered Sam was coddled and hugged and protected. It's football. Man up or panty out. I pee pee in soup.
  7. I'm actually not mad about where we're at. My thing is they should let Sam walk and play the rookie or a vet like Cam. If they play Sam it only hurts his value. Play the rookie and let Sam back him up. Unless we're bringing in a vet to win now while we redshirt Corral. Corral has to play over Sam. The fans deserve at least that.
  8. A poster said we should cut bait and move on. That's what needs to happen. Either your rolling with Golden Corral or Cam for a year or two while Corral redshirts. Redshirting Corral may be the best thing considering the off the field we've heard about. Let him condition, adjust, study, learn behind one of the best leaders at QB in professional football. Cam was that 15-1, he willed that team and they followed.
  9. If Sam's not the future go ahead and let him walk so he can do his thing, whatever that may be. Don't hold the man. I think that release would need to take place before QB1 would sign up.
  10. Fitt-tastic has done his part, kept his promises. He's done everything to make it attractive for Cam to return even keeping Robby around, who was the first to publicly lobby for Cam. Icky is just the icing on the cake Cam may need to suit back up.
  11. Reminds me of young Drew Brees. Drew had to stop that running though.
  12. Before all the Pickett and Willis hype Corral was supposed to be QB1.
  13. Immediately. Sam isn't even watchable anymore.
  14. 6'4" Ridder, 6'4" Strong, 6'7" Kelley Aaaaaaand we pick the undersized guy. I'm just saying.
  15. Stupid. Any of these rookies got more upside.
  16. Bring Cam back. And draft Cajun Cam 6'7" 260lb Cole Kelley. Let the student study the teacher.
  17. Totally agree. Cam with a line and weapons hasn't happened since 15'. He has had the worst luck as far as having actual receivers. Smitty and DJ were his best and he didn't get to spend much time with either. Cam Newton is still big. Still strong. Still fast. Still a one two punch of a QB. This man is in better shape than your personal trainer. The broke down talk is outdated nonsense. He came back like a BULL last season.
  18. 6'4"Ridder 6'4"Strong 6'7" Kelley It's the NFL after all.
  19. 6'3" is average height for an NFL QB. I'm 6'1" playing QB was but a dream for someone my height back in the day. WR, RB, or defense. Having said that Sam being average height for an NFL QB makes him equal to his peers. That's what gets other guys picked ahead of you this point in the draft.
  20. Please tell me what Sam Howell has over Sam Darnold? There is no physical advantage. Just asking for a friend.
