It's not like they actually engineered their strategy to "steal" Corral. But if he turns out to be what everybody thought he would be we have a first rounder franchise QB on a third rounder contract. Dumb luck, but the opportunity to win games and actually pay your players or free agents New England style is there. Will they get out of their own way and just let it happen? I don't know. They've already been swindled by Rhule and Darnold. Corral is the better option. Much more upside. More dynamic. No NFL tape on him yet so you kind of had a head start, but are they smart enough to take advantage or are they going to play the 19mill NFL proven backup QB? I think you know what they'll try to do. People want to coddle Matt. Matt is a f'n baller and wants those reps at starter. He's a first round grade QB anybody with a brain would understand that he's automatically THE best option at QB to win. Yeah he's on a cheap contract too. Let's eat!

Ok, so Fhule should decide. We got Icky but we didn't even really get to see what Brady Christensen had to offer until way late and Rhule admittedly said that may have a mistake. Trusting Rhule to evaluate QB readiness is lol. Remember he kept Sam from playing in the preseason, coddling the dude. The NFL has long figured Sam out and will put him in situations they know he can't handle. Time to move on from past mistakes and embrace the future by commiting to your new franchise QB. THAT will show Corral that you are serious about reaching his potential. All this coddling guys want to do thinking they're saving Matt from football is ridiculous. He'll learn more, get up to speed, getting reps not watching Sam.

Can't wait to see him play as a Panther. Rhule may try to spoil it for all of us. Nobody needs to be getting Corrals reps. The future awaits!

IF he was QB1 on McAdoo's big board there's no reason to not turn the page and commit to developing Matt Corral and giving him the reps he needs. Sam shouldn't be getting those reps, it's beyond time to admit the mistakes and invest our time in the future NOT the Jets and our own past. Sam is what he is and has had plenty of reps and time and games in the NFL to prove himself. If you're looking for the Sam moment that will prove everybody wrong and Matt Rhule correct, it's never coming. Time to embrace the future and COMMIT to your new franchise QB. To heck with the college two QB system from last year. Corral is ready! Let's eat!

If this has been posted already, please forgive me. He really seems comfortable with the organization. Unfortunately he's being OVERRHULED in favor of Sam Darnold, proving once again that they care nothing about the fanbase. Get this Panthers, don't nobody want to watch no Sam Darnold when we just drafted Matt Corral. Stop **ssyfooting and let the man play! Sam is a backup, playing him will only define that trajectory he's already had four years to show the world. Yeah, you made another financial mistake with taking on the option. You can make Sam happy while acting like you didn't just sh*t away 19mill or you can turn the page and start the future NOW. At least you have a veteran backup.

Golden Corral needs to be a 90% thrower 10% runner. That way he he'll cut down the possibility of getting clocked in the open field. Seeing ghosts afterwards.

Need to roll with Golden Corral. As a Carson first supporter, Corral was my next most accurate top prospect. Rhule prefers scramblers and he was QB1 on McAdoo's board as he was last year until the Willis, Pickett hype as long as you don't **ssyfoot and let the man play it's a great pick. If he's OVERRHULED... Nobody in that room has more upside. Hand him the keys!
