  1. Hey folks, if you're a washed up NFL QB, proven to not have the right stuff, come get that Tepper money, he parts from it easily. Con men be like Moving to Charlotte, we've got a fool on the radar.
  2. Hey, David Tepper! Give me money for absolutely nothing! Who is the dipshit who kept pushing Mayfield? Him and Rhule need to...
  3. If SHE forgives him and wants to try and keep the family together I'm for it. Essentially we'd be signing her and the kids and keeping them in the community they love. I'm for that. At least we wouldn't be ripping the support of the community away from this family who obviously needs it. I'd sign him for them, not for his ego.
  4. I like that moxy though. He's definitely gotten stronger. Look at his arms now compared to him coming in.
  5. Edit: PJ is 6'7" so to replace Miles it's plug and play. PJ has a similar skillet, quick feet, streaky at times but starting, being depended on can change that for a guy like him. I'm excited to see Kai. It's next man up. Good thing we still have quality guys to fill the hole.
  6. I see sooo much of Shawn Kemp in Kai. The younger version of course...
  7. I'm not lobbying for that at all. It's just that certain guys get second chances easier than others. The second chance may not be here but the present dynamic would point to the Hornets being more likely than anyone else to give him a second shot. They'll start with counseling, public statement that he was wrong, rehab/come to Jesus, she comes out in support, the court goes light because they're working it out and then comes second chances. That's a necessary sequence of events to try and appease his employer and the public. We'll see if it works or if he crashes out completely. If the dummy leaves his wife and kids or if she is too scared to feel safe with him any longer dude won't even get a job playing in Europe. Tragic because his kids were about to be set for life.
  8. That applies to only one. That's what created Matt Corral' "character concerns", not dropping a friend in the toughest time of his life. Melo is being a true friend, not b**ch arssd'. The Hornets may still sign him BUT the new market for his service will determine his price now. We'll know around July 20.
  9. Lol, dem streets. Game spitter on Miles Bridges: The streets are not impressed. Stop it. Play basketball.
  10. PJ is very athletic and younger than Gordon, can move, can shoot. They may be using him wrong at PF. He may be just the guy to replace Miles. We've seen PJ put up 40pts. He'd be in mismatched situations more where he can get the advantage over small forwards. He'd be tough for them to guard at 6'9". Let Kai play PF. Something about him says Shawn Kemp. We've finally drafted a prototype center in Williams.
  11. This looks more Ray Rice than Greg Hardy. I could see Hardy's situation much like he told it. You can't explain a full out brawl with your wife. Celina Powell outed him allegedly on some dirty behavior unbecoming of a man with a family a beautiful wife and beautiful kids that look just like him. Soon after...the pic. This is all allegedly and already out there if you look it up so... Smh. Be a rapper AFTER basketball. That lifestyle can't and won't fit with a man with a lot to lose. Somebody who had the potential to be not a good NBA but a great NBA player especially with Melo having his back. Smh. Rapper is the most deadly profession right now.
  12. They overpaid an undersized 2 guard who should be playing his natural position PG which is Melo's spot. Smh. Instead of wasting money on bringing in Kemba or IT. Terry should play that role.
  13. KD has a couple connections here. Cliff even before KD became a trade candidate, was effusive about how KD was actually a hard worker and great teammate. KD liked the tweet with Cliff gushing all over him, he knows the love is here for him.
  14. Cody Martin balled out. He does all the grunt work and he's become a efficient scorer. He actually took over and won one of those last games he was killing it. Yes, the fact that he can play defense too makes him much better value than a guy who is just a shooter that gives up just as many as he scores.
  15. He really got better in the GLeague. So much so because of his height, defense, his put back ability, blocking, ability to run the floor, his scoring ability he should be in the running for starting PF this season. I'd move PJ to the 3 to let him dominate smaller forwards. PJ can guard those guys and he does have the feet to keep up and enough length to make it difficult for a 3 and he doesn't have to guard bigger guys night in night out. I'd put Bouknight at the 2 and just let him play, you've gotta let him get some run. Terry could back up the 1&2. Melo 6'7" Bouk 6'5" PJ 6'9" Kai 6'11" Williams 7'2"
  16. I'm optimistic. I think they have an opportunity to improve, especially if they can keep Williams on the floor and get Kai and Bouk some playing time.
  17. KD could win here. IF there is/was anything redeemable of the Bridges situation it would/would've be/been a contention situation. KD replaces that scoring and then some.
  18. Robert Parrish played for the Hornets and retired here on Lake Norman last I heard so it's not out of the realm of possibility. Tell KD that this will be Golden State East and we've got the second best shooting Curry in the building every night.
  19. Also since we've lost our top scorer you can kick it to KD to be that replacement.
