  1. Mr Yuengling just had a heat flash, don't put Yuengs over ice! It just ain't natural.
  2. In Panther fashion we're gonna do only 1 of those things correctly.
  3. I forgot to add, that since it will be a slap on the wrist deal and he will more than likely still be the owner for the forseeable future it adds to the laughing stock of the NFL thing we are doing so well right now.
  4. As much as anyone would like for this to amount to anything..... sadly it will be a slap on the wrist deal.
  5. Here's my take: poo it if you want, I won't get offended lol Just because we paid to move up and get Bryce by no means promises him a 4-5 year leash. Especially with a HC and (hopefully) a GM that's inheriting him. Do I think they'll draft a QB at 33? Asbolutely not. Yet, I'd be a fool to think they aren't going to look at capable backup or vet additions that can step in and do the job if they have too. The logical thing to do is surround Bryce with as much talent as possible, capitalize on the rookie contract. The illogical thing is at this point to ONLY make Bryce the priority this offseason and not just build a better team for the sake of having a better team. AT LEAST get to the point that we're winning in spite of Bryce rather than losing because of him if he continues to play poorly.
  6. They shipped Marty off and hired a GM that flashed some fancy RAS scores at them and they fell for the bait. Dave and Nicole don't have the football acumen or even fake like they do to dictate drafts. This is 99% of having a GM that's better off drafting for XFL... er UFL teams selling your owner on picks based on some analytical format that makes the players seem better than they are. You put high scores /10 and green boxes infront of Tepp and you're good to go. Thus why he needs to go. We should and definitely could do way better in the scouting/gm department. The other 1% is poor judgement on the Owner for letting it happen.
  7. Yeah I don't have those kinds of connections so I cannot refute. Everyone in that building should be uncomfortable though. Losing team putting a terrible product out year after year so far.. Your personal friends I hope they can find a place where they are happy to work, I truly do. Everyone else from the top down should be as miserable as we are as fans. Winning cures all though, so I try to leverage the good (however slim) with the bad. I'm looking forward to the next steps.
  8. I wouldn't necessarily say that, seeing as it's the people he hired are the reason that we're in this position lol
  9. Yessir, it's not much... but it's mostly honest work lol
  10. Inmates are watching this on the block. One side is AZ-PHI and the other is MIA-BAL. Good football day lol
  11. What's funny is that he said the same thing last week.
  12. They can flip the 1st round pick for a 1st round pick next year again and probably more. Which is honestly the prudent thing to do. Take a bidding war in the top 5 knowing that if you want MHJ you're more than likely able to still get him or Nabers.
  13. It doesn't happen because of the chance to win the natty. Only fringe roster guys will transfer when the portal window opens but its like players that aren't playing anyways. CFP disincentivized the Bowl games, no matter how you rotate them into the playoff format if they aren't a playoff game they are virtually worthless. Players will opt out/transfer etc etc and not think twice about it.
  14. Yeah, I don't wanna speak too early or irrationally, he could possibly be the next Saban.
  15. GA is playing lights out. Never been a big fan but man do I have to respect and sometimes envy the killer instinct of Kirby Smart.
  16. I think its the opposite, I think Tep is Fitt's yes man essentially. He's pretty much chief advisor to Tepper... just like Hurney was before they "parted ways". Tepper has little to no working football knowledge so his reference is the GM. Hurney was kept to teach him the ropes and then he hired another advisor that was "aligned" with the HC to continue the work. Also.... for better or for WAY worse I think that's the reason that Nicole is rearing her head this past offseason. Leveraging her words against Scott's... all just messy business. Time for a total reset in the FO.
  17. I mean that's only speaking on the draft preliminarily, blind without a FA period. So yeah it seems like a lot, but in reality we aren't 100% sure what we're gonna look like in just over 4 months.
  18. Replacing Scott with Borgonzi would solve the GM/Scouting issue. That's where we need to start. Personnel wise we need to use 2nd and 3rd round picks on OL/WR in whatever order they are higher on your draft board. I'd like an OT that can either take Ikey job or if Ikey gets his life together be ready to take over for T Mo. After that address Edge, TE, Defensive interior or even another Edge. Come back and double dip on either OL/WR in the later rounds. Some small school kids with real production will be available.
  19. Outside of doing the interviews what can they really do at this juncture? It's not like they have to wade through piles of applications, theres 5-7 guys the team wants. Search completed. Now to interview and eventually hire one of them. I'd argue that for HC or GM. Even if they used a search firm last cycle.. the invterviewers would be the same. The search firm doesn't hire the HC. They just do the leg work of collecting names for interviews.
  20. Can we get a screenshot or a copy paste for us folks who cannot access twiXtter right now.
  21. Hopefully we have a new GM who will tag Burns and tell him flat out, its a clean slate. "Play like you're worth that contract and we'll get the deal done." Let him come out and rip and tear and trade him at the deadline Seriously I don't know what we should do with Burns but I don't like the idea of him walking and getting nothing for him. If he's gonna go we gotta get something the tag and deadline deal might be a good option if we can get some Edge help this offseason. Other than that... Pay Derrick Brown.
  22. Meh, Sirriani is calling the offense in Philly again.. So I can't properly judge Johnson. Hard to follow up an act like Stiechen without the same brain as him. Nick is doing what he can but Brian wasn't ready for the OC position. Next season I could see him being a hot candidate if the offense continues pace though.
  23. We have a meddling owner because he doesn't hire guys like this.. he hires "The hot college upstart" or "I know this guy just got fired mid-season but fuggit he was on a SB winning coaching staff." He didn't come out of the gate meddling lol
  24. Had he made the sensible decision and not hired Rhule back then we wouldn't be worried about his input. His problem is he tries to fix the issues he created, by trying to outsmart the game, himself. Hire the right guy at GM and HC (Theres a few good options) and sit back and watch them work. I promise if we get football people who actually know football in house then we won't hear from him much if it at all. No more RAS standouts, no more trying to be cute, get real football players that are good at their respective positions and watch the team flourish. I'm growing tired of drafting dudes who played 4 positions in college for the 1 position they played the least bc they fit the "athletic profile" get me some dawgs.
