  1. Tilis and Halaby are 2 good names SO FAR. I'm not freaking out, I'd like to interview the other KC evec as well and Adam Peters.
  2. Yeah, I don't see many others unless some owners are making "difficult" decisions.
  3. Personally, I'd go QB in the 1st, build OL/Defense with the other picks. They have the skill positions honestly, maybe need an athletic TE yet.
  4. This is my biggest gripe. For what? 4 seasons he tried to find gems in the draft.... give it a rest. You clearly weren't drafting teams full of pro-bowlers. You were trying to get recognized for finding the Puca's and Pacheco's
  5. The fact that TMJ started late last season and was the second leading receiver on the squad still baffles me to this day. At any rate, here's to a new era of Panthers football.
  6. I fully agree. No new GM/HC pair is gonna hitch themselves to what was on film last season without a contingency. Wouldn't be suprised if we make a late or mid-round pick for a qb. Especially one that fits the style of the new HC. Can always cover your tracks by saying you need to have multiple qbs that can play and point to the Browns situation to back up your claims. From there you can start your contingency plan and look to the future if things get even worse. Scapegoat is already fired no need to have to answer for the trade-up or whatever have you. Best case scenario is that BY was truly the product of too many chef's in the kitchen and a scheme that didn't play to your strengths and he hits the potential that many believe he had pre-draft.
  7. Not gonna lie.. I was cautiously optimistic this would finally happen. It wouldn't have shocked me if he didn't get fired. Yet, here we are. I actually *pending new GM hire* have hope we can right the ship.
  8. He's correct. You aren't the top priority and frankly CAN'T be... seeing as the person that would make you a priority isn't hired yet.
  9. Just a regurgitation of the original November interest in Bill..
  10. I wonder if the Pats are in wait and see mode for Vrabel, supposedly they would be interested if he hit the market.
  11. It's 'reported' that one team isn't going to announce every request for interview. They will just announce when the interviews are completed. Could be crickets around here for a few days.
  12. He's safe for the foreseeable future. Not like we own the #1 pick in the draft and can go another direction. He'll get a good look over the next couple seasons unless the situation around him improves and he does not.
  13. If whomever steps into the role and wins his own way you don't have to worry about the owner, he can go off and play billionaire stock trader in his office. Hire another dud and he has to come out of his basement and try and "fix" things. So much hangs in the balance and we gotta take the first step and clean house in the FO on monday or shortly after.
  14. I mean they have major work to do in that department honestly. Cutting ties with Mack and Kendricks gets them down to about 4M over someone pointed out to me earlier. I haven't been able to do the math myself so take it with a grain of salt. After that you have some tough decisions to make to be able to ATLEAST sign your draft class. Yeah its gonna take some big boy pants to pull it off. More than likely hold off on big moves, maybe some trade outs and compete with what's in the building for a year. I would trust it to a vet HC/GM pairing.
  15. I've noticed. I was perusing X this morning and it just circulated like wild fire. Not a lick of logic was used. I've said it time and time again, that is his job to not take imo.. not even for him to lose, he would have to refuse it.
  16. I'm going on a limb and saying this is a different fan to the left or right that got some risidual droplets on them lol Wasn't much of anything in the cup to begin with unless he tossed it twice.
  17. Yesterday we had interest in Patriots HC/GM Bill Bellicheck... Now today we have no interest in Harbaugh because he doesn't want to "Give up control..." According to my sources we're trading for Reid in the offseason.. that's how sources work right? Bill would demand the same amount OR more control of the team... Yeah this doesn't seem totally accurate. Sounds like a convo over beers being regurgitated to a disgruntled fandom.
  18. This is the smart thing to do, sell it to WAS then sell the #2 pick for a haul get a future first from the next sucker. Continue to build from there.
  19. I've said this so many times, but people keep telling me about Caleb Williams..
  20. Imma be honest, I did have a good laugh.. It's possibly the most Panther thing to do.. Trade up for this kid only to turn around and trade Burns to the same team we got the #1 Pick from. Idk how I feel about it tbh. I really like Justin but we saw how morbid he looked in Chicago with no line and no weapons. BUT, i'd wonder if they are keeping tabs incase it's the chip that tilts a HC hire. I'd be over the moon to get back into the 1st and have some additional capital to work with granted we have a new GM running the draft.
  21. Why would be pay the fine for the man worth 16.7Bn. Tepper found it in some old Steeler's track pants.
  22. Bingo, 1 less franchise to worry about competing with. No owner will start to throw dirt on another owner, atleast publicly... they all have skeletons in their closets... look how they were during the Snyder stuff. Mums the word. If there were other credible allegations we would have heard them by now. Mans is worth 16.7Bn they would have already hit his pockets.
  23. Dude can play. I wish we could grab him up. Might as well retire that dream.
  24. I don't think so. 24+ hours since the incident and the NFL hasn't even acknowledged it. Usually they put some PR statement that they were made aware of the incident and are looking into it etc etc usually pretty close to after it happens. If we don't hear anything about it tomorrow, it's likely water under the bridge already.
  25. I don't even think it bothers him, no word from our PR department... or the NFL for that matter. He just gonna ride it out for the rest of the week. Monday will be a new slew of headlines.
