That would depend highly on who is the next regime. I don't think a team in our timeline needs Dak. He'd be trying to get back to the playoffs right away, we're not equipped for that.

I get that point. I still like to let the next HC decide the fate of the staff we currently have under contract. If they clean house, they clean house and rightfully so.

Just because the Huddle thinks they are bad doesn't mean the league thinks they are bad. WE have something other teams in worse situations on defense and ST want. Not everything boils down to Tepper Bad. Some moves actually make sense, if the new HC has a plan then neither of them are gonna hurt for a job next season.

Can at least get your first round of interviews out of the way and get your list whittled down.

I said in the other thread it feels like they are interviewing for 2 positions rather than solely for the GM position. We'll see how it plays out though.

I mean, if that's the case... and they did verify that these people would take an interview were not as bad as the average Huddler would lead you to assume. 9-10 interviews for HC/GM is a better outlook than most would assume. Still, factoring in people changing their minds or taking other jobs etc etc... we're not as bad off as people would want you to think.

1st round of HC interviews should go quick. GM interviews in total should be faster though no restrictions on GM candidates.

Interested in seeing who SEA brings in for interviews, I have a feeling they already have someone in mind if they didn't jump in right away a couple days ago.

I know it’s not been announced and pure speculation on my part. Yet I wonder if they are interviewing all the GMs with a secondary motive akin to when we interviewed all the HC candidates and then hired like 3 of them to the current staff. Interview them all and then maybe hire a President of football ops type of dude. Hire one of the others for GM after. There’s kind of a duality going with our candidate pool which makes me wonder.

I don’t think they will go Rookie QB. Poles will rob someone else for future picks setting them up perpetually to be able to have an attractive opening if the Fields/Flus thing falls through again next season.
