Apparently we completed an interview with Dann Quinn like 2 hours ago lmao
-
We can and have done WAY worse.
-
People aren't holding a coaching job a decade against him, rightfully so. Years working under McVay you gotta figure he's learned and grown.
-
I don't think so, he's just not at the top of my list. I would hire him before a couple other names on the list.
-
After watching the video again, maybe I missed it, but it wasn't a key point to the video with many points I agreed with.
-
Interesting, I figure this would be bigger news if he was impacting the search in a negative way. He's a hot topic, surprised it's the first hints or whatever.
-
Better than the Kellen Moore odds lmao. Interesting that Ben Johnson has better odds than Slowik or Canales.
-
Morris interview was completed like 45 mins ago. Per the team site.
-
I hope... at least she's doing much better. I have nothing against Duce, hate how it worked out.

Whether they do or don’t call plays doesn’t equate to how successful they will be as an offensive HC. McVay, McDaniel, Taylor (was QB coach) and O’Connel to name a few weren’t primary play callers before getting HC gigs. Basing preference off of wether or not they called plays but then referencing coaches who previously weren’t primary playcallers is kind of backwards. This isn’t a vouch for Callahan, just an observation

In a digital age where Kellen Moore leads Vegas betting odds as our next HC the rumblings (or lack therefore of)of random people on the net does very little to move me when the only true indicator is a concrete notification that the interview went down. If it doesn’t happen it doesn’t happen, but basing interest on the “reporting” of people with anonymous sources does nothing for me.

People can see the interview requests for anyone who’s currently under contract in the NFL. If they are fired, or coaching elsewhere you won’t hear anything until after the interview.
-
Harbaugh or Tomlin for me. idk what the fascination with BB/Carroll is at this point of their careers. Atleast with a young coordinator you have the *chance* that you found a long term solution.
-
Yeah. Her “Yes.” followed by the information she gave was greatly useless. I do understand the hesitation from staff members though. Never know what’s going to happen in the coming weeks, could be out of a chance for a job if the new HC doesn’t keep you on. But with this many openings, Evero would find a new landing place quickly.

I’m South Jersey born with Philly parents so no Wiz Wit bullshit on my cheesesteaks
-
Hey now. South Jersey is the best of all worlds
-
VERY easily Cowboys.
-
Was talking with my mom about this, they should have hired an OC in earnest after Steichen left and let him do his thing. Sirianni can't do both.
-
If they keep pace Canales is gonna be buzzin' this cycle
-
They have like 5 minorities lined up, by current age terms... they are doing the most lol
-
I don't necessarily agree. Eagles are weird wildcards and go against the grain. Steelers would probably go offense but like Todd Monken/Callahan type of guy or dig deeper.
-
Only issue with just promoting Dan Morgan is that Rooney rule applies for GMs as well. You have to go through the entire process even if we ended up with Dan as GM in the end.
-
Steelers don't have enough dumb luck to overcome this.
-
Carthan is doing him a favor, maybe even pulling a dual interview to maybe gauge if they'd bring him on in some other capacity with their new coaching staff.
