I was incredibly bored for the first time this season during the Giants game. Up until then I thought we were just having bad days. It's clear to me the coaching staff doesn't know what to do and Darnold is in over his head after all the hype and praise of the first few weeks has worn off. A four game losing streak with our toughest games yet to be played, it just feels like another wasted season I spent months looking forward to. It sucks when it's only October and it feels hopeless.

Good for him, he deserves every dime he will earn. I just hope it's the Hornets paying him.

To be fair, it is front and back though

We've never had back to back winning seasons. The Panthers franchise just turned 28 years old. In 26 seasons, this team has never put two winning seasons together. Never. It doesn't matter the coach, the players, the philosophy, even the owner - sustained mediocrity is all they've ever achieved with some playoffs and two SB appearances from fantastic outlier seasons. They are who we thought they were. It may take awhile for a new coach and system to settle in, but in reality they've never done diddly poo consistently.

I'm looking forward to a chill Sunday, free from football stress. I will however, be watching the Hornets that evening.
