That'd be how i'd play it out to if I had picked Fields. I don't like starting rookie QBs anyway so I'm in the camp of having them sit and learn while we develop them and the talent around them. fug all that falling for the media pressure poo they could say what they want.
-
Yea you right that's true. Darnold was option 3
-
It's also fair to question for now the ability of the coaching staff to identify a QB. That hasn't been settled yet at all

Cam Newton not on Panthers radar (as if that needed to be said)

Also to find out it was Nippleshorts that was on the Tie business and all that...never seen a sure fire HoFer get fuged so bad -
I wouldn't put him or any rookie behind this OL. So if it was me he'd be sitting which is something they should be doing anyway if you don't have poo to go with them.

We were banging the dime piece on the roach ridden bed at moms house though Mom(Shula) came in there like "stop making all that racket" -
Yea no argument there. I'm saying getting one while having the team set is a good spot to be in and we have a large portion of our team set. LIke fug it i'd take Watson with a line next year for example and that team could compete for the SB. Still need the Watson or the good rookie contract QB but just having a QB run around alone ain't the ticket. We seen that with Cam already
-
And easiest to fug up. It's very hard to find one and can literally take one OL/coach to break. What my comment was mostly about is having a QB on the rookie contract while having an already good roster. Seattle won with their roster + low money given to Wilson and now the HoF QB which they have is useless behind a non roster same with ATL. Brady in NE always had a defense and their SBs were 1 score games where the defense held opponents down and he always had an OL. Mahommes defense in KC, and so on. Denver with a broke neck Manning Can really keep going btw...that everything on the QB poo is for ESPN
-
Yea the difference is the demeanor. Jake would get animated and hype we just are missing that type of player anywhere on offense. Doesn't have to be the QB but I think it'd be useful to have a hype man.
-
Grand scheme of things already having the roster sans a QB is a better place to be than only having a QB and nothing else. After spending a year to build up the OL if we get a later round QB or even an early draft pick and put him in with this defense/weapons and the hypothetical OL we'd build that's how a SB window could be open the longest.
-
We have a lot of quiet types. Sam clearly isn't going to be a fiery leader. DJ Moore is soft spoken, the OL sucks too bad to say anything, CMC is soft spoken...there is no disparity in the type of player we have in that regard. Smitty was going to bring the heat and fire up the crowd/team. Cam would as well. We are missing that and it does matter. I mean speaking of the crowd...tune into what going from Smitty/Cam to .(blank for a reason)
-
It really is and it is a well established pattern going back to last season too. Teams have been known to be second half teams and stuff like that but I don't know if I've ever seen poo the bed for a specific quarter quite like this.
-
Oh hell no you don't want a rookie behind this line. We'd be well on our way to ruining one. At least Darnold if he is ruined was already there. Quite frankly he doesn't conduct himself like Carr and isn't gun shy. I don't think he's broken at all he's just a gun slinger with the demeanor of a game manager so it gets people twisted.

Well while we're here I'd take one of Andy Reids fat rolls for OC -
Also they were more toward the hash rather than the middle of the field which is just highlighting the defense sitting on our routes more. If it was leading them right into the middle of the field into the MLB that's one thing. Not sure if they posted the one Brady was talking about but usually that's middle of the field poo not hash throws. Got more problems than drops and passes if your passes there are "setting your WRs up for the Hospital" Means the fugin S's know.
-
Smitty is just a fukin G man. That broken arm TD shits all over and I mean diarrhea shits all over any WRs we had since combined. Excuses for drops...none from that man. Honestly it's really bizarre watching some former non shitter posters just fall right off the cliff. Half expect them coming up in here talking about the Earth is flat next.

I thought we had two picks last game. They got a fumble this game...we get turnovers sometimes just 3rd and longs have become free again. it was a 1st and 16 backed up on their 10 and they got 15 yards on first down....giving up all that free yards is vintage Panthers D.

Yea I mean TB protected the ball and also the scoreboard from points. Darnold ain't afeared which is a good thing and also a bad thing lol. Man can score TDs in the redzone so if you gonna bring up his faults which you should you h ave to give it up that dood scores TDs. I like the dual QB idea tho combine them two for one good QB -
Yea...no pie left

Identifying talent hasn't really been the problem on the whole. Won't ever be upset about the aggressiveness. Ultimately if they get the OL settled and whatever it is with the QB position Sam/Watson or a draft pick in '23(won't be 22 IMO) then it's good. For me I def got up for the 3-0 start and it's just back to usual for a team with an overall losing record and no back to back winning seasons.
