  1. So we have negative leadership abilities. That's like playing one of them games on Xbox but you owe the RPG stat points
  2. I mean Chubba isn't a small guy he's 6'0 200lb
  3. Cam had no LT but had elite interior play it's not the same at all. Kalil/Turner/Norwell - 5x pro bowl, 2x 1st T-AllPro / 5x pro Bowl/ 1st T-All Pro It's well beyond baffling that people are trying to compare these lines and yet at the time we still blamed the OL when Cam played poorly and a lot of that was true as well just like now except exponentially worse. Wilson has had no OL and is one of the few who can escape like Houdini and that's it. Ain't no just deal with a historically bad OL when there has only been one guy who could maybe do it but yet in still his team is poo too now and they only won 1 SB so clearly they would have been better served to go ahead and get an OL. He also just fuged up his finger real good due to pressure up the middle. It's only when not if the QB gets done in these situations.
  4. The only thread i'm really hanging on for Sam for me is the thing where he still throws bad ball with time IMO is still tied to poo OL play. It's clear that it's in his head and with consistent pocket could that go away. He's staying loose and jittery because he needs to be able to take off or protect himself before dying behind the OL. It's a fact that he still struggles with time but the WHY of that almost certainly is still tied to the constant pressure like missing a wide open layup for example. There is no defensive pressure there but you miss the layup anyway. He has time sometimes and it almost like takes his ass by surprise. He almost certainly isn't going to work out but there is a non zero chance that with protection he could develop into an above average QB. He may be fuged too much already and he was our 3rd option so really I don't know what to make of what Rhule really thinks about him....we could be going for another QB next year or ride him out again but we have to have an OL for whoever it is. Just can't have the oL fug up a new QB whoever it is.
  5. Agree it's not in a vacuum that's why you could then bring up the OL stats and off we go in the circle again. The stat having a HoFer and probable bust on it tells me it's at best not granular enough.
  6. Na man that torpedoes the point as it clearly shows this stat doesn't speak to the play of the people involved. You had to bring in other stats to go with it so by definition it's not standing on it's own.
  7. Yea having two GB WRs on here Titanics any other point one would assume to be trying to bring up
  8. One RB and yet more defense I mean if you were to look at the actions of the coaching staff you'd think it's the defense they don't trust.
  9. Oh yea he's not the future. He was the only reason Houston won and then competed in the games earlier in the year after everyone thought HOU was going 0 for like they said about the Jags but then HOU looked like a real team with him at QB. He is the type of QB that could win with a roster and is more of the better mix of TB and Darnold as he doesn't turn the ball over and scores. We likely still need a QB even with Darnold as he probably is only here another year unless it does end up clicking which it looks like it won't more than it will and I've been on the OL first side of the conversation. I think the question was which QB could do better that would be available and Taylor is better even at both their best, he has injury history and a lot of that is crazy ass poo. Best thing for the team though is if Darnold just works out and morphs into a consistent QB.
  10. The play of our other corners has honestly made some of the trades unnecessary and leaning towards bad? I don't know that bad is really the right word/way to go about it but I don't think that our guys just magically played well out of nowhere so it had to be seen(or missed? - issue there?). I don't know that there is an issue but I have to acknowledge the possibility of mis identification of talent again.
  11. I was like it's gotta be trolling to say that Darnold is better than Tyrod Taylor. Clearly I haven't been one of the hardest ones on Darnold here but ffs you kidding me
  12. Their backup LT will also double as a punter and average 60 yards a punt
  13. Aren't they missing RB and QB too or are they supposed to be back for our game? I know either way they would be dinged up with the ankle injury then the concussion for Jones...
  14. Oh you know better than betting on the Panthers outside of that MVP season. For me I can't properly evaluate the Panthers they always do opposite, win games we shouldn't win/lose games we shouldn't lose. I have way better luck gambling on the rest of the NFL.
  15. Giving up catches is going to happen it's how the coverage is and the YAC given up or not and he was still on the WRs even if they caught it. Same with Horn who gave up a TD vs the Jets but was still good coverage.
  16. Yea for sure it never matters the w/l for divisional games. The W/L is what they came up with for saying what they said though so that's where I was coming at it from. Like last year we played Tampa well even though they went on to win the SB and were clearly a superior team it was closer than the final scores like the one long run we gave up for a TD where we were in the game in the 4th Q till then. Always gotta show up for the divisional games.
  17. Also that's with the Giants and Falcons being on here....pahaha
  18. It's like I said too now that we're injured. No one is going to talk about us being injured when teams beat us nor are they/will they be saying "well the Panthers are a bad team". Teams beat us and they'll get "credit" I mean I don't really care about that it's just easy to point out their hypocrisy in the media.
  19. Yea he was on the WR most of the time and they made some sick catches. It shows that he can tackle which isn't being a dick its for real at least he can tackle. I can't remember him getting dusted the real issue for the defense was no pressure on the QB and long term run defense. Run defense was great at first then fell off as they got pounded but the pass rush was not there.
  20. The funny part is those people complaining about people complaining are always worse and are actually going against the forum rules by not talking about football. They are talking about other posters and not the game. I personally don't care much b/c if I wasn't warned so much I'd be just fine talking poo all day but would rather just talk ball it's thems that can't take it.
  21. Same as when any secondary member has that many tackles...means we got ran over.
  22. Nope https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/T/TaylTy00.htm https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DarnSa00.htm The internet is a thing
