Yea and Chubba in college hit some huge holes and could breakaway so with an OL we can have the home run hitters from our RB position even with the backup in.
-
Well yea that goes without saying the OL is unspeakably trash. The fact that our RBs have a good YPC just shows how good they are. CMC has yet to have an OL at all and he still was a 1k/1k guy.
-
CMC isn't too small he just been over worked like Cam was Yea if he packs on those 15 more pounds I'd like to see how that looks going forward. Still a rookie with just one NFL offseason so I'm sure it'll happen. Davis was pretty good man I'd like to have kept him as well.

Beating the Giants-should someone get promoted?

Hopefully they are back as backups. I think the C is going to be found in the draft and is worth picking one up there. Hope that Christensen is good and put him somewhere. With a legit C the interior play improves all around like when Kalil was here and healthy he helped make Turner/Norwell look better and they haven't looked as good since even though they aren't scrubs that's how it works with elite C play it elevates the rest of the line. We were definitely "spoiled" in that regard as we never had to worry about C since 2009

Can we not talk about Clemson right now ole Dabo bout to have to swap thangs up right quick with that non transfer mentality and the anti pay doodie he is on.

Wait until they find out Zod was trollin Kinda like unc says on there with Skiiiuuup. "I'm fishing and they biting"

Was wondering if I was the only one that noticed that. Figured he would be more powerful but I also didn't realize he was that big either.

Bridgewater(2020) vs. Darnold(2021) through 6 games.

Well I mean any defensive lineman with at least 4 stubs for limbs will be able to rush vs our OL. -
Na the Jags won't catch up to our 3 already

I mean Chubba isn't a small guy he's 6'0 200lb

Cam had no LT but had elite interior play it's not the same at all. Kalil/Turner/Norwell - 5x pro bowl, 2x 1st T-AllPro / 5x pro Bowl/ 1st T-All Pro It's well beyond baffling that people are trying to compare these lines and yet at the time we still blamed the OL when Cam played poorly and a lot of that was true as well just like now except exponentially worse. Wilson has had no OL and is one of the few who can escape like Houdini and that's it. Ain't no just deal with a historically bad OL when there has only been one guy who could maybe do it but yet in still his team is poo too now and they only won 1 SB so clearly they would have been better served to go ahead and get an OL. He also just fuged up his finger real good due to pressure up the middle. It's only when not if the QB gets done in these situations.

The only thread i'm really hanging on for Sam for me is the thing where he still throws bad ball with time IMO is still tied to poo OL play. It's clear that it's in his head and with consistent pocket could that go away. He's staying loose and jittery because he needs to be able to take off or protect himself before dying behind the OL. It's a fact that he still struggles with time but the WHY of that almost certainly is still tied to the constant pressure like missing a wide open layup for example. There is no defensive pressure there but you miss the layup anyway. He has time sometimes and it almost like takes his ass by surprise. He almost certainly isn't going to work out but there is a non zero chance that with protection he could develop into an above average QB. He may be fuged too much already and he was our 3rd option so really I don't know what to make of what Rhule really thinks about him....we could be going for another QB next year or ride him out again but we have to have an OL for whoever it is. Just can't have the oL fug up a new QB whoever it is.

LOL get past the filter and lets see it

One RB and yet more defense I mean if you were to look at the actions of the coaching staff you'd think it's the defense they don't trust.

Oh yea he's not the future. He was the only reason Houston won and then competed in the games earlier in the year after everyone thought HOU was going 0 for like they said about the Jags but then HOU looked like a real team with him at QB. He is the type of QB that could win with a roster and is more of the better mix of TB and Darnold as he doesn't turn the ball over and scores. We likely still need a QB even with Darnold as he probably is only here another year unless it does end up clicking which it looks like it won't more than it will and I've been on the OL first side of the conversation. I think the question was which QB could do better that would be available and Taylor is better even at both their best, he has injury history and a lot of that is crazy ass poo. Best thing for the team though is if Darnold just works out and morphs into a consistent QB.

The play of our other corners has honestly made some of the trades unnecessary and leaning towards bad? I don't know that bad is really the right word/way to go about it but I don't think that our guys just magically played well out of nowhere so it had to be seen(or missed? - issue there?). I don't know that there is an issue but I have to acknowledge the possibility of mis identification of talent again.
