Looking ahead to this offseason *Warning* Not for the Weak Stomach
Fox007 replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Oh yea keeping the wrong FO and losing Beane and McDermott. All it took for my Mick from another chic to have back to back winning seasons was years 3 and 4 with this year about to be the 3rd in a row....just lol. -
Yea it makes no sense right...like what did Tepper expect that CMC was going to have an even better eyar somehow lol...like wahh

Looking ahead to this offseason *Warning* Not for the Weak Stomach

Started off in such good shape too. Had Cap room. Had a top 10 pick(s) Maybe squandered both but definitely have squandered one pick and now the cap looks squandered yay us right back to speed running shitting your pants and ruining the good you built. Panthers be that kid at the beach to build a Sand Castle and go play in the water for a bit come back and be like "look at this nerds sand castle" and then kick it over and start laughing only to hang their head in shame and realize that's their sand castle. -
Pretty amazing that Hurney is so god damn stupid enough to buy high for real. OH THIS GUY HAD A GOOD SEASON WITH TWO YEARS LEFT LETS MAKE A DEAL! Instead of letting it play out FFS this team has been managed by children

They aren't scrubs like Zeke is washed already drafted in just 2016 when Pollard a 4th rounder isbarely a drop off and with Zeke they still won nothing. Bet the Cowboys would rather have any of those after him but especially.... Hell that Cowboys with Jalen Ramsey or Bucker lol not even close to a debate. Then Derrick Henry was there in the 2nd Where they took Jalen Smith who is now out... The Cowboys had already drafted OL currently to even be in that position and was still the not hindsight worst move and a poo move.

FA mismanagement No wai mayne

Sure like at the very end of the first for example where you won't be in position to get him in the second round if you have a really good one you like. http://www.drafthistory.com/index.php/positions/rb When you look at this is clear that the poo organizations pick RBs high and the 1st round RBs you do see go by good franchises are near the end. Also most of those higher picks have been injured already in just a few short seasons. With even an elite player like Gurley already out of the league drafted in just 2015. Think I'd rather have Peat for the next 6+ years as a cornerstone. Not hindsight either obviously.
-
Nope because the value for any other position is still better. I doubt for example all 5 of the OL are studs so even a pick there is better. Then your any RB you draft in later rounds runs through open holes. Ryan Tannehill 11/21 93 1 1 RUSHING Player CAR YDS TD AVG Dontrell Hilliard 12 131 1 10.9 D'Onta Foreman 19 109 0 5.7 Easily replaced with not one but two RBs going for 100 yards vs a Pats defense. That's the OL so losing: 937 yards 10 TDs in 8 games is easily replaceable and thats a 2k RB. Clear from this what the issue is there last game.
-
Well I don't personally think CMC is injury prone I think RBs are prone to injury. Its the position. Derrick Henry is out too, Ravens have like 3 RBs out. Its only the main reason you don't pay/highly draft RBs.
-
Him or Abdulla not that any of it matters much with this OL.
-
Yea we're better but it doesn't = wins thats one of the more basic analytics to come up and has been around for a long time now besides thats two years off. I mean fug if we had Jonathan Ogden in that SB we win it too but wtf does that matter he's not in our era.
-
Most of us do we tried to by in on some hope poo and look where that got us. Me with Darnold you with Rhule a lot of people with both. Its just this org man sucks to come to terms with. I mean for along time there I thought Clemson was going to be that but they turned it around so I'm good football terms in general since Clemson exists so maybe Carolina can pull their head out one day.

In MMA what often happens is after certain 5 round grueling affairs like with Volkanovski vs Ortega is it can take away your chin and years off your career. This has happened to numerous fighters were weren't the same after a major beat down. They shown a graph like last year during his injury season when he was out that RBs after a certain number of touches often don't come back the same and they showed a few it was on a show so no link that I nkow of but it seems obvious anyway.
-
If the Panthers never drafted a RB in the first round in my lifetime it'd be too soon. Its a stupid move and for analytics type poo its for sure a wrong move. The analytics say to not do that. Just bad value and you can plug RBs in from all over its just how it works now. CMC is a skilled player there is no doubt about that but what did a 1k rush and 1k pass yard player give us? Now just compare that with having even the 10th ranked QB in the league and see what that alone gives you given the same circumstances, same team, same everything. Have to go QB and OL to protect the QB. Then you can fill out skill positions but even the QB raises those up. Cams MVP year was with his worst WR group he ever had.

They have a real coaching staff
-
That part of the article was kilgos obviously and makes 0 sense at all. There is no parallel he fuging went before our pick and ask the Jags if they'd rather have Mahomes or Watson anyway and already have been building up a team around a franchise QB. WHen you have to defend Brady any RB is good just look at the 5,555 RBs that he's played with and has had run game yards whenever they want them see 28-3 they won that on a what again? a pass or a rush from one of the 300 RBs they have?
-
I am here to inform you sir that we are infact dead.
-
Of course our poo organization was focusing on RBs to "keep the pressure off Cam" or in whatever fuging dorkey ass stupid way they think a RB is going to do that when you need OL help specifically LT since Gross...just super incompetence abound Think about that Mahommes/Watson were available too lol. Lots of RBs taken after 3rd round too like Aaron Jones and James Connor and such. Or just any RB that most good teams can just plug whoever in and have them go.

Dane Brugler Mock Draft 1.0 (from The Athletic)
Fox007 replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Gotta do what the Cowboys did back when they started drafting OL over luxury pick or high rate bust picks. Grab the un sexy pick and watch it pay off for 10 years. -
That's ND and their overrated selves for you Makes it all the better when they get slapped around like someone insulted someone's momma come playoff time
