And the Atlanta noise gate or w/e the fluff that was. But yea If I'm on the Hawks offense no way do I let that play happen. If I was Lynch I would have literally just stole the ball from him...or used the last TO...anything but pass in that situation...play call makes Shula look like a HoFer.

Alan "Blue Balls" Ball leaves Panther offer on table
Fox007 replied to CubsWin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Honestly Norman is better when he was allowed to press and get physical with the WR... Maybe we will try to play more up on the receivers...which would make my day because I'm so fuging tired of the patented Rivera 15 yard cushion. -
"Why the 49ers should move all in for Luke Kuechly in 2016"
Fox007 replied to Moorgan's topic in Carolina Panthers
It'd take a lot more than 2 first round picks to get a top 3 LB of all time.... -
Williams always came across as phony to me anyway...guess he's outing himself now....the whole funeral thing too....yup....Smile moar

Good...we need some speed on STs.... I'm tired of seeing the return man catch the ball, take a piss, shake it off, then run for 10 yards before the nearest Panther comes into the screen.

If we hit on 5 picks again we'll be well on our way to SF/Seattle type depth. (SF from a few years ago...)

I am still worried about the bolded...I'm pretty much fine with Gman, it's Rivera's dumb ass we have to worry about.

Gettleman: Oher can be answer at left tackle
Fox007 replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yea but we'll also have people calling for his head for getting Cam killed. -
Gettleman: Oher can be answer at left tackle
Fox007 replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
I remember how they had Godfrey and Chandler's back and those were answers....I trust Gman to put talent on the roster but not Rivera to play the correct players. We'll see though, I think Oher will do well here.....at least I HOPE he does.... -
Yea...for each of those I can name one or more as well....Ray Lewis and Big Ben right off the top and I'm not wasting my time looking up anything. Especially since Hardy was rail roaded and IS innocent soo yea...and Rice had 0 incidents before this one so he's a one time offender...same with Peterson..both were considered model NFL players before last year.

How'd that work out? I'd rather trade our entire 1998 draft for Randy Moss.... This bullshit choir boy routine is old and a big part of why we haven't had back to back winning seasons...no doubt JR would rather have Bersin than Moss...and here we are 20 years later with no rings. Oh yea bring back Hardy too.

No it isn't needed.

If we make the playoffs this year it will definitely validate the previous two years. Three years in a row isn't a fluke and our schedule is pretty tough on paper...at the very least the teams we play are usually good/tough. If we didn't have Shula I'd love our chances...his presence really hurts our potential no matter who we draft or sign. Also how many potential upgrades are going to sit on the bench this year while we wait on their coach designated starters to get injured? Last year the injury bug helped us for once as it exposed what most of us knew and that is Rivera was starting people who had no business starting...and the better player was on the bench. fugin Godfrey was starting...in the SLOT....last year....lulz This coaching staff scares me...the players and GM I'm pretty ok with.

I don't want to overpay for FAs or anything but acting like the Panthers are a team to look at when building a team is pretty much laughable...we had a losing season last year and still no back to back winning seasons. Gettleman looks like the right guy going forward but he is 50/50 in free agency with a good year and a bad year. The draft is where he has been money which is great. But we are still a team that loses one of its best players for nothing while even shitters like the Saints get 1st round picks for their top players when they trade them. We've lost two of our best DEs ever for nothing at all...this team is a joke when it comes to trades and managing their top tier players.(Smitty situation among them) I think the future is bright and we're going in the right direction but people like Mr. Scot seem to think we've arrived when our only claim to fame atm is playing Seattle tough....spare me.

At least someone liked my first round mock draft pick
Fox007 replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Devin Smith would be much better if he is there...Collins is good too just depends on who all is there...I agree that there is a decent chance it won't be an OT by that point. -
Panthers Final Decision On Hardy : No Thanks
Fox007 replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
LOL that's why this team will always be mediocre(if that). Has our all time W-L record hit .500 yet? Haven't checked in awhile...Hardy is worth the risk. -
Is 'BPA, or be damned' a flaw with Gettleman's draft philosophy?
Fox007 replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's not entirely BPA...we aren't drafting a MLB or QB in the 1st round... -
I saw in one thread where someone was saying that Smitty may convince Torrey not to come to Carolina but I think the opposite could be true...I think having played with Smith could make him want to come him. I do think Torrey Smith is a bit too inconsistent though and he tends to disappear for games at a time.

Exactly, I'm in total agreement and even Hardy's questionable behavior hasn't even been all that bad compared to many other NFL players who keep playing for their team. I want him back too but it would be on Greg to take a smaller deal IMO...not that he has to do that or anything but I would be interested to see how things panned out if Greg actually did take a Panthers discount to stay what would happen...
