  1. LOL at the conspiracy flat earth style people. The Bucs have a better defense and the 5th ranked offense to KCs 1st. KC has the last ranked RedZone defense and and odd combination of a bottom tier pass defense but they are top 5 in interceptions. KC is 19th in sacks and Tampa is 4th. Tampa has the #1 rush defense in the league but we don't expect KC to run the ball and they won't be able to so this makes them 1D. KC still will be favored but the better complete team is Tampa and that type of front can win games nevermind having the GOAT QB. KC usually just outscores the other team and they can beat Tampa but if Tampa wins it's because they have the better roster and coaches who aren't Ron Rivera and some Mike Shula in their SuperBowl.
  2. AAAANNNND the simple fact that the Broncos collapsed literally right after that. NOTHING in all of sports is more sure to prolonged success than having a good-elite QB. Put another way....nothing will make sure that you fail long term than having a bad QB. All of those one off defenses that won a championship are just that...one offs that never had staying power. Tampa, Ravens, Broncos....that's not how you build it if you're trying to sustain success to go along with a SB win or even a dynasty.
  3. I know you're not wasting your breath on the mouth breathers but this barely touches on why the starting QB on a team that lost to your team doesn't' mean they aren't a good QB. Those new recruits Zod was rejoicing about are just barely above the ones we lost lol.
  4. LOL this site is honestly great comedy more often than not man. You gotta know not to respond to people who are clearly too damn stupid to converse with.
  5. This may sound weird but it's true....in terms of averaged arm QBs Brady's is the best of them. Stated otherwise...in regards to having an average arm Brady's is closer to having an above average arm than having a weak arm.
  6. Stafford isn't even the win now approach as that term is usually applied. It just doesn't fug our first round picks going forward and gives us an actual QB for the next 5 years while we draft and groom a QB for the system Rhule wants to run as even the OC will be gone sooner rather than later. We will still draft a QB within the first three rounds with Stafford as QB. I would rather have either of those guys than a rookie 8th pick and Watson is worth 3 firsts I honestly don't see this current regime giving up more than that. I don't get the impression at all that Tepper/Rhule/Fitterer feel it's Watson or bust or that they aren't smart enough to get someone on their own. Would be interesting to see how much Hurney taught them about what not to do lol. Tepper didn't exactly sing his praises when we retained him and as poo as Hurney is Tepper is even less experienced so he even said he used this time to learn. I like a lot of what I've heard from this owner and that is independent of how it actually turns out. I've seen smart people make decisions that don't pan out and I've seen it a lot. The stuff he says and the way in which he has been conducting this isn't incompetent.
  7. I like how in this thread the article was saying that Watson isn't vastly...I can repeat for the Huddle since Huddle do what it do but *vastly* better than Stafford. And that is a true statement. Then we have someone posted stats that confirmed that and then said the opposite somehow lol. vast·ly /ˈvas(t)lē/ adverb to a very great extent; immensely. Then we had someone knock the idea of value rofl. This poo is always great. If we got Stafford for just one first round pick that is a much better deal than trading at minimum 3 first round picks. Given our new GMs take we would still be drafting QBs to develop while we had a hypothetical Stafford. We could also expect to see some trade downs given that we have a higher 2nd and 3rd round pick this year to get us more selections. As a Clemson fan I'd love to get Watson but it's just inarguable that Staffords price tag is a better deal and it's laughable at some of the trade ideas in addition to 3 first rounders that some on here have put forth.
  8. Not everyone is media savvy and he seems more like the back room geek type which is fine. If you were set up in front of a room full of people and cameras and asked questions about your job in a new building in a new city you just got to I wonder how you'd look. Basically everyone I know would look even more uncomfortable(myself included) than that and it doesn't have anything to do with their confidence or yes manness(yes i made that up). Also it's an empty room in this case which his bizarre and it's a different type of press conference. Wouldn't read too much into it.
  9. Yea that and Joe Person is a chode like usual
  10. Not only this but a shot at someone is actually saying something not saying nothing. It's beyond clear that the descriptor is action based. That's why it's taking/shot and not "oh he left his sidearm holstered at him"
  11. Yea like others have pointed out already this isn't saying anything without the data from the other rounds. I doubt the point is "it's hard to get a QB" There are only 32 starting QBs you wouldn't expect to see a starter who sticks around for an elite career every year in every draft much less just round one. There are only a hand full of elite QBs and then the same goes for just simply good. The dropoff from the Top 5 QBs to the next 5 is noticeable and from then to the next 5 is big then after that it's dramatic. So you're really looking at 15 players for comparison as no one is actually saying they want the 29th best QB from their RD1 draft pick. Good chart and interesting to see all put together though.
  12. Welp I love me some DW4 but if he goes to the Jets he pretty much derps himself out of sympathy for me and you get what you get at that point.
  13. I mean all I did was hit the layup. Zod got the assist.
  14. Well if you want fun you have to take Trump on your team
  15. I think you gotta take Teddy. That's a first round pick If'n there ever was one
  16. Yea looks like also in 2016 Tennessee was sued and this type of output from something else: There have been several sexual assault complaints made against Tennessee student-athletes over the last four years, including former football players A.J. Johnson and Michael Williams. They were indicted on aggravated rape charges in February 2015 and have separate trial dates this summer. OFC I don't know what really happened but I do know if it happened anytime close to now it'd be investigated and the light would be on him and his past experiences maybe to include those affair partners. Not even making a judgement on that what I am saying is his squeaky clean image would be different for sure.
  17. I didn't link a report. I was in Indy for a Gymnastics meet with my daughter. Since the sexual assault scandals in The Ranch they moved USAG nationals to Indiana so the topic is pretty fresh and had one of my Panthers jerseys on and people there and around town talked football a few times. It and other items like Peytons affairs and such came up. Everyone around town there seemingly knows this.
  18. lol well Bill's was consensual but you often see the poster above and people like him talking about Peytons squeaky clean image while people from Indy know better. Guy is pretty fortunate his #metoo incident happened when it did instead of the last few years.
  19. What'd they talk about mushroom stamping women in the face?
  20. I was about to say people like that are exactly the people you DONT feel bad for....LP just too nice I guess
  21. In a deep draft for OL this is really good news honestly. We also have a HC and GM that can actually hit later round picks so more chances are welcomed. Take a shot at the later round OL in addition to the earlier ones we may get for that extra depth/competition.
  22. It's not a bad idea. At BAH we have to interview again in between projects or if we change locations or w/e to similarly train people to do interviews and to stay sharp at it since we also have a lot of gubment contracts.
  23. Yea like I told Scott I would just flat out leave a situation like that and take my talents somewhere else unless I just had to have a job. Too many good places around the world to work to be sitting 40+ hours a week with some uptight jackasses. But I obviously know that some people just have to have a job.
